Time of Reading 11:40 to 12:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1071].

2. As we find, conditions are very serious with this body. Yet as we find conditions, if there are the proper precautions taken, these should be aided to where there may be an even greater activity of the body.

3. These have to do (the disturbances) with complications and with disorders that have made for an exaggerated activity in the heart's influence upon the circulation, and the effect upon this being kept in control.

4. Hence we have the effect of those conditions, or those PORTIONS of the heart's activity that lead TO its functioning; or that in the aorta artery and its activity to the liver and the lungs. Hence these heavinesses of the overflow of same without the tendencies for this to be distributed again to the system.

5. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1071] we are speaking of:

6. In the blood supply, through the overactivities mentally and physically, those activities that have been trying upon not only the vitality of the body itself but upon the mental associations of same, we have brought about first that which made an apparent nervous breakdown.

7. Through these activities there were caused congestions in portions of the eliminating system first; as through an engorgement in first the colon - as in the transverse and descending area - which produced a pressure upon the heart's activity itself.

8. Then this combined with a digestion that became such that there were the activities of fermentation without proper assimilations of the gastric flows from either the lacteals or the pylorus or the acids. Hence this making a disturbance in the kidneys and more specific in the liver activity, we continued to increase the flow between the heart, the lungs, the liver - until there is an engorgement

1071-1 Page 2

of the valves of the heart itself - the associations between the arterial and vein circulation in the area, and the overflow of the blood then from same to the head at times. Or that which has made and does make for this benumbing, as it were, of the brain forces, the influences throughout this disturbance. These, IN the circulation have caused, to be sure, those activities in the blood plasm itself of poisons being carried through the system. This breaking these poisons, breaking down in the very cells or very ducts through which they are flowing, the activity necessary to carry or to cause the flow of the blood to extremities - or away FROM the heart.

9. Hence we have had those experiences both of a flooding of the heart and - again - of the blood's being away FROM the circulation in the liver, the lungs, the heart; and then the quick fluttering that was produced by, as it were, the valves - or the benumbing of the heart itself, as it may be called, attempting to work without it being full.

10. These are the existent conditions, then, because of the WEAKENED stimulations for the circulation under these distresses.

11. Poisons, naturally, from the lack of proper circulation, have accumulated in various portions of the body.

12. Necessity has been found for the administration of very great stimulants for the circulatory forces.

13. Yet these applications which we will suggest, added to the activities, will produce a more normal ability for the body to respond to even administrations. For necessarily the ministrations are more the nursing, the care; for little medicinal properties may be given, save those stimulations that must be kept AT TIMES - but these should be gradually be diminished.

14. All of the organs suffer, to be sure, as has the nervous system suffered in its inability to function through the poisons that have been accumulated as pressures - especially in the right side here, across from and below the heart and a portion of the spleen itself.

15. Hence the spleen is greatly engorged, as may be found by the examinations across this portion.

16. The kidneys refuse to function nominally at times, and at others these are overactive.

17. As we find, then, we would add these things to the body. Not as to cause great exertions at any time, as to movements of the body in raising or lowering of same, but keep these:

18. Stimulate by rubbing very thoroughly with anything that will cause the drawing of the circulation to the feet and the lower limbs; such as with a solution prepared in this

1071-1 Page 3

manner:

19. To equal parts, or an ounce of each, of Pure Olive Oil and Compound Tincture of Benzoin, add three to five drops of Oil of Mustard.

20. Rub this along the feet, the knees, the limbs; once or twice a day.

21. Add the Wet Cell Appliance, or the galvanic activity of low electricity to the extremities - in the manner that the Radio-Active Appliance is ordinarily applied. Have both of these anodes of nickel, though the poles into the solution should be one copper and one nickel - but both anodes should be of nickel. The attachments would be made to the opposite extremities. But that anode or lead from the copper pole would always be attached first, so that the flow is established oppositely; for that becomes the positive, and the other the negative. One day the positive anode would be attached to the right wrist, while the negative would be to the opposite ankle. The next day the positive would be to the left wrist, while the negative would be to the right ankle. Alternate each day in this manner, or at each application - which may be for twenty to thirty minutes once or twice a day. This will pull the circulation through the extremities. If it makes for too GREAT a stimulation (watch the pulse action), then cut down the time of application.

22. We will find, with these precautions, taking those things that are necessary for the stimulation, help may come. Unless there is the anxiety mentally, or physical exertion, help may come for this body.

23. Use - of course, easily - the eliminations through the evacuation by the high colon irrigation; for the poisons that have accumulated must be taken away.

24. After the fourth or fifth day of using the Wet Cell Appliance as indicated, begin with the gentle manipulations osteopathically. Not in the upper dorsal or through the cervical, as to overstrain the heart and lung activity, but stimulate BELOW the 9th dorsal. These will draw the activities as to alleviate this engorgement in the circulation between the liver, the heart, the lungs.

25. Ready for questions.

26. (Q) How often may the colonics be given? (A) There should be those activities from the alimentary canal each day. If there is not sufficient of a movement of the intestinal system, then give one each day. Not too much, but sufficient to relieve gradually this plethora condition in the transverse and descending colon; which, with this engorgement of the spleen, tends to form a condition in the left side that is disturbing.

1071-1 Page 4

27. (Q) Should the osteopathic treatments be begun now, or after the Wet Cell Appliance is used? (A) As indicated, three to four to five days after the Appliance is used.

28. (Q) Any other suggestions? (A) As indicated, there will be more in the nursing, more in keeping the body quiet, mentally and physically, than in anything else. GRADUALLY, as soon as or as fast as the change in pulsation permits, reduce the amount of the stimulations.

29. (Q) Any special diet? (A) That which is the more easily assimilated is the better. Not wholly a liquid diet, but a semi-liquid diet is the better in the present; but as much stimulation as is pertinent with the general conditions. Spirits frumenti, PROPERLY associated with milk or egg, a LITTLE is helpful; but do not overtax the body with same. A little means a few sips, NOT gulps or big swallows.

30. (Q) Regarding fluids gradually rising over the whole system. (A) This, as indicated, arises from the poisons and the separations that have occurred. To produce stimulation from those centers as indicated BELOW the diaphragm, when the manipulations begin, will cause the poisons to be eliminated by the colonics and the general respiratory system.

31. (Q) Any special solution to be used in colonics? (A) The salines balanced with the sodas are preferable. Not all saline, but near equal portions of soda and salt.

32. We are through for the present. Copy to Mrs. [1073] " " Ass'n file (The ingredients for the massaging may be purchased separately and added in the order named. See article [which was enclosed] explaining theory of the Appliance. See instructions [which were enclosed] in wire to Health Home Remedies Co. for preparing the type Appliance needed. See directions [which were enclosed] to Osteopath, and to Nurse or Technician for giving the colonics. If everything is not clear, let us know. And please keep us in touch with the progress made. GD.)
