Time of Reading 4:05 to 4:25 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Michigan. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1075].
2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing forces that produce effects in the physical forces of the body, causing activities in the circulation. For there are incoordinations in the gland supply to the body and the manner of eliminations in their proper channels.
3. Hence forces or influences that should be eliminated through some channels find expression in a disturbance in the superficial or lymph circulation; hence bringing to the perspiratory system poisons that produce or make for blemishes - or conditions that become disturbing to the body.
4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1075] we are speaking of:
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, as we find, there are those indications of the nature and character of the disturbance. There is the breaking up of the eliminating forces as they are carried through the system; and the effluvia in the blood supply or poisons that are carried in same make for conditions that become as disorders in the superficial circulation - especially in the face or hands, or exposed portions, and at times on other portions of the body; especially in those areas where the lymph and emunctory circulation come the closer to the surfaces.
6. IN THE NERVE FORCES OF THE BODY, we find these are affected more by the disturbance than being the cause, or the nature. Yet through impulses that are carried by the nerve forces and nerve plexus, much aid may be brought toward producing a normal condition.
7. IN THE BODILY FUNCTIONINGS THEMSELVES, as we find in most portions of the body (as related to organs, as brain forces, sensory forces, throat, bronchi, lungs, larynx), these in their functioning are very good. While the metabolism of
1075-1 Page 2
the system, as related to the circulation, becomes disordered by the very activity of the blood flow to the superficial portions and not eliminating nominally through the alimentary canal, the respiratory system, or an even balance in the eliminations through the kidneys themselves, it is much better or preferable for the very nature or character of the disturbance to be shown in this way and manner; even though it produces the blemishes, than for nature to cover these over without the causes being eliminated - and thus produce in some specific organ the infectious forces that occur, or are indicated in these portions of the circulation.
8. In the assimilating and digestive forces of the body, we find here there are those glands - especially as related to the digestive forces (as acted upon by the pancrean activities and the activities of the spleen with the liver), these we find show the very natures of how the activities from too much of starches or too much of the effects of sweets upon the system cause conditions that become not only somewhat aggravating to the very nature of disturbances in the circulation but add to the influences that cause the disturbance in the mental reaction - owing to the weight that is increased often, unless there has been or is a very strict diet or activity of such nature as to make for a reduction in these activities in the body itself.
9. Then, in making the applications as we find would be the most beneficial, these - to be sure - should be under the supervision of someone that would make for an attenuation to the effect of these upon the body. That is, first that which will apparently produce, for the time being, a little irritation - or apparently make the blemish appear to be more raw or more active. But these effects would gradually, as we find, after a week or ten days, subside; and thus BEGIN the applications that would be the more helpful for the body.
10. Hence we would begin first with the Atomidine, as given under the supervision of someone attending the body as a physician. One minim each day for three days. Then increase the quantity to two minims for three days. These to be taken of a morning before any food is taken, in a glass or half a glass of water. Take same for the six days, as indicated. Then have a rest period of two days, and then begin again with the one minim (or one drop; that is, the whole drop from an atomizer or dropper) for three days, and then two drops for three days.
11. After this has been taken for the second period, then begin with the diathermy. This, naturally, under the
1075-1 Page 3
supervision of one that would make such an application. These should be rather LOW; NOT too strong, and would be taken for a period of three weeks. Then rest a period of three weeks, leaving off - of course - the Atomidine during the periods the diathermy treatments are given.
12. After the period of the diathermy, begin with the manipulations and adjustments osteopathically given, that would make for the coordination of the ELIMINATING channels of the system; stimulating especially the drainages of the body toward the alimentary canal from the upper dorsal and cervical area; but coordinating at each application or treatment the lumbar, the central dorsal system (or at the 9th dorsal), and the brachial centers - together.
13. Then, be mindful that rather a strict diet is adhered to throughout the whole period. Though these would not be all that would be taken, rather let the outline consist principally of these:
14. Mornings - citrus fruit juices or cereals. Do not take cereals at the same meal with the citrus fruits, however. Cooked cereals, especially through these periods of the year, would be preferable to the dry cereals; as Maltex or any whole wheat cereal, or rolled oats occasionally. But preferably the fruit juice diet, alternating occasionally with the cereal. A little browned whole wheat toast may be taken if desirable. Ovaltine or a cereal drink may be taken if desired. DO NOT take milks, as these will make for disturbances with the other activities for the bettering of the conditions.
15. Noons - either fruits or raw vegetables. These should be all raw. One meal each day. These may include any that is desired by the body; preferably the leafy vegetables rather than the root or bulbular nature.
16. Evenings - well cooked vegetables, having two leafy vegetables to any one vegetable of the pod or bulbular nature. No white bread. No candies. No pastries should be taken by the body, if these conditions would be cleared - until these have cleared entirely from the system. Fish may be taken, though do not include shell fish of any kind. No fried foods of any kind. Lamb or fowl may be taken, but no other character of meat - nor red meats. Wild game, of course, of any nature, may be included.
17. Do these, as we find, and we will bring the better conditions for this body.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) Regarding the weight. (A) As indicated, this disturbance arises from a gland
1075-1 Page 4
condition; as related to the digestive forces more than the adrenal, thyroid or the pineal activities; though the increase in the height and the weight, of course, is an activity through the pineal - but the assimilation of the various properties that have caused disturbance. Hence the first activity in the system is to be of the nature as to cleanse the glands' activity, and then the diet added which will - with the applications of the electrical forces - make for the purifying of the blood flow, creating the activities through the vibrations set up. Of course, all under the supervision of one that would make such applications. Do that.
20. (Q) For the acne on face? (A) As indicated. Not only the changing of the circulation but the distributing through the manipulations that set up drainages; coordinating the respiratory system with the eliminating system, the perspiratory system with the kidneys. All of these must be made to coordinate. And when they are, the conditions disappear.
