Time of Reading 3:35 to 3:55 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1079]; this we have had before.
2. As we find, in many ways there are better physical conditions in the body than when we had them here before. There are better reactions, better eliminations, better activities through the system.
3. And there are, as we find, those conditions that taken advantage of in the present we may prevent a further disturbance in the incoordination between the sympathetic and cerebrospinal nervous system, and produce a bettered condition in the activities of the superficial and the deeper circulation.
4. As we would find, in the present:
5. In those activities of the superficial circulation, or the circulatory forces through the head and the neck and to those portions of the cerebrospinal system where disturbances have been existent, to strengthen these, we find that some specific exercises would be the better in the present than those that might be mechanically applied.
6. These as we find would be the better:
7. In the evening exercise those portions of the body ABOVE the diaphragm area. When ready to retire take five to ten minutes, give the circular motions of the body above the waistline. The raising of the arms at the same time rising on the feet, this as a circular motion also of the arms. Then the head and the neck exercises.
8. In the mornings before there is the activity, or upon arising, use the activities for the lower portions of the body; the stooping, the stretching of the lower limbs.
9. And at least once a week use a Fume Bath, using in same the fumes from the equal combination of Tincture of Benzoin and Oil of Wintergreen.
10. After such a Fume Bath let the body be thoroughly rubbed down with a coarse towel, and then a shower or dip bath

afterward.
11. These will make for a stimulation to all the portions of the superficial circulation and thus overcoming and reducing those activities that portend or make for the accumulations of the SUPERFICIAL activity in the circulation and accumulations of the acids in the superficial circulation.
12. Do these and as we find we will in the present make for the better conditions for this body, [1079].
13. Ready for questions.
14. (Q) How is a Fume Bath taken? (A) Either in a Cabinet or in a Gown with the Oil Fumes being about the body; that is, the oilcloth gown, so that the fumes settle over the body. The Oil Solution, of course, would be put in the water that steams under the body.
15. (Q) How long should one stay in a Fume Bath? (A) If the alcohol lamp is used, one of these burning. If the electrical appliance is used and the fume bath over same, for five to eight minutes.
16. (Q) What causes itchy, sticky feeling in and through left breast? (A) The poor superficial circulation, and those inclinations of the mammary glands to be choked with the poor circulation in this portion of the system. Hence as indicated, not only will the exercises aid this condition but especially the Fume Baths and the rubdown afterwards will cleanse the system so that these conditions would disappear.
17. (Q) Is this condition malignant? (A) NO.
18. (Q) What causes hurting at times in lower left side? (A) This is produced by the activities in the transverse colon, and with the activities in the exercises this should be aided, through stimulating the circulation in such manners as to remove the causes.
19. (Q) Does this have any connection with the breast condition? (A) None - save the effect upon the superficial circulation.
20. (Q) Is indigestion still causing these disturbances? (A) Only a portion of same. The indigestion is not as severe as when we had same before, but with the exercises and the rubs, and occasionally when necessary the use of the digestal or the taking of those things that make for better assimilation, (the Alcaroid) this as we find will disappear.
21. (Q) What causes numbness, weakness and hurting at times in legs?
1079-3 Page 3
(A) The circulation. Use the exercises and the stretching, as we have indicated. Remember when taking the upper exercise, rise on the feet AS the arms are raised or circulated around and above the head, see? When taking the lower exercises of a morning, the stooping as well as the bending would make for the increasing of the activity of the circulation through the lower portion of the system.
22. (Q) What causes my voice to fade away to a whisper at times? (A) Nervous reaction through the disturbance between the superficial and the deeper circulation, which is that between the sensory activity - or the activity of the emotions and the deeper circulation. Hence as has been indicated, the activities principally in the present are for those that affect the deep circulation but that make for the practical application of those that cause the drosses to be eliminated through the respiratory and perspiratory system.
23. (Q) What causes dizziness and what should be done to correct it? (A) Use those activities as given. This arises from the lack of the equilibrium between the circulatory systems, thus producing between the impulses and the activity that which gives expression in such action.
24. (Q) Any further advice for this body? (A) Do these. DO NOT take the exercises merely as something to be gotten through with, but be consistent and persistent in them. Because at the beginning these will make for MORE dizziness, especially when the head and neck exercises are first begun, do not give way - but merely reduce the time. For gradually these will produce a better coordination between the activities of the body. Do not become too tired or because of other conditions arising leave them off, but be consistent. For these as we find are those activities necessary for the bringing of a much nearer normal condition and will prevent accumulations becoming disturbing in ways and manners as would be hard to combat. Hence be consistent, persistent in those suggestions indicated. For ye will find results with the use of these.
