1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1080].
2. As we find, while the general physical conditions of the body are very good in many respects, there are disturbing conditions that become aggravating to the system at times, causing an improper circulation. Hence an unbalancing in the eliminations of the system, producing a rash that at times disturbs the body, and at others a disturbance in those areas through which the eliminations in alimentary canal are as a factor in the disturbance for the body.
3. Hence some of the glands (as the prostate) cause disturbance. And these are, as we find, all in the main the EFFECT rather than a cause. However, if any portions of the system become so often involved in conditions these of themselves as activative forces become weakened - and thus become as a portion of the disturbance.
4. But if the causes were eliminated, we find that the conditions would clear and the reactions become gradually nearer normal. For under the stress that is naturally accumulated in a body as this for periods that has weakened, we would find that the change would come gradually. For periods we would find there would be some reversal, as it were, and again gradually growing better.
5. So, it would require a persistent and consistent activity to make these corrections.
6. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1080] we are speaking of:
7. The indications from the circulatory forces of the blood supply are that toxic forces are an effect, from rather the small intestines - or a thinning of the walls of same so that seepages of the toxic forces are at times an effect.
8. Hence a disturbance is caused in the nervous system and in the locomotory forces of the body; and those activities throughout the system become disturbing.
9. Then, we find in the lower lumbar and the coccyx area
1080-1 Page 2
there are pressures that are the primary causes. So, a result is the slowing of the circulatory forces in the lymph and the impulses for the activity through the system.
10. Thus, when the body is allowed to become excess acid or an excess alkalinity, it is more subject to the disturbances and those activities in same.
11. Also the reflexes from these make for the disturbing conditions in the areas as indicated in the lower portion of the alimentary canal, or those that have affected the glands also in the same area. These become rather, then, an effect.
12. And with corrections made, and proper precautions as to the activities through the system - in keeping a normal balance for assimilations, we may bring better conditions, as we find, for this body.
13. Hence, in making applications that would bring aid towards such corrections, we would suggest these:
14. First we would, through gentle corrections, through manipulations and massage, correct those conditions in the coccyx and lumbar area. Also we would COORDINATE those centers governing the lower circulation (as in the feet and lower limbs), the solar plexus, the brachial and hypogastric and pneumogastric plexus, with those activities or movements that are made in the lumbar and coccyx area.
15. Also we would use the Radio-Active Appliance as an equalizer for the circulation, or circulatory forces. This would be attached each day, or when the body feels particularly a tiredness. It may be applied for thirty minutes to an hour once or twice a day, preferably with the body lying resting or prone during such an application. This would prove to be most helpful and most beneficial to the body.
16. The diets: We would be mindful that there are not too much sugars, nor too much starches; though these may be well balanced in the diet at times. For when these are taken, little of fats or proteins should be taken at the same time.
17. The use of enemas, the use of heat in those areas about the rectal activities, will be most helpful. The heat may be given with the enemas or through such an application that makes for the relaxing of the body.
18. These done consistently for periods of two to three weeks, with a rest period of two to three weeks and then the treatments taken again, we should bring for this body a very great relief in some of those periods of disorders that occur.
19. Ready for questions.
20. (Q) Please check the condition of the various organs in
1080-1 Page 3
the body. (A) As indicated, these come under stress and strain through a disturbed circulation. The relief as we have indicated, that would come from the removal of these pressures in these areas, would allow a greater activity and more normal activity of the organs throughout; as to the assimilation, elimination, and the purification of the blood supply.
21. (Q) Should any application be used for the rash when it occurs? (A) Anything that is soothing to same is very good, but remove the cause and we will remove the disturbance - or that that produces same.
22. (Q) The massage and manipulation should be given osteopathically? (A) Osteopathically; or neuropathically.
23. (Q) How often should the enemas be taken? (A) Only for periods of the purification and relieving of distresses through the area. These at times should be closer together than at others, but not so much as to produce an irritation; just sufficient to aid in the eliminations that have been and are naturally slow through the very nature of the disturbances that have been indicated.
24. (Q) Any special solution best to be used in the enemas? (A) That which would nominally be used; a saline solution.
25. (Q) How often should the adjustments be made? (A) This depends upon whether they are made of one character or another. If the adjustments only are made, it would require one almost every day - or every other day, for periods of two to three weeks at the time, as indicated, then a rest period of the same length of time, and then another treatment period. If they are done osteopathically, then once or twice a week would be sufficient. If they are done neuropathically, then one would be done every day!
26. (Q) Any other suggestions for the body at this time? (A) Do these for the present, as we find, for the improvement, for the ease for these conditions.
27. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] to Osteopath. If everything is not clear, let us know. See letter [which was enclosed] to be sent to Health Home Remedies Co., also article explaining theory of such an appliance. GD.)
