Time of Reading 12:10 to 12:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Kentucky. (Physical Suggestion) (Mental)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before.
2. There has been indicated for this body, as we find, the mental attitudes that should be taken; and these would work with the general physical forces for an improvement that would go beyond that as may be seen from the outward activities in the present. We would do these.
3. For the local conditions that appear through the nasal passages and the irritations to the throat and to the bronchi, we find:
4. These are an extenuation or an after-effect of the rising of the emotions through the glands, the influences and forces as indicated that need to be made in the manner as to do something WITH, something ABOUT, the abilities that really lie within the grasp of the body-physical!
5. But for these local conditions, first quit smoking so much; and use this as an expectorant and to allay the cough:
To 2 ounces of Distilled Water add 1 1/2 ounces Strained Honey. Let come to a boil. Then add:
Syrup of Rhubarb................1/2 ounce, Syrup of Horehound..............1/4 ounce, Syrup of Ipecac..................20 minims, Chloroform.......................10 minims.
To this then add:
Wild Cherry, Syrup of...........1/2 ounce, Pure Grain Alcohol................1 ounce.
Shake well, and take when there is the cough or when there is the tickling in the throat - one teaspoonful. It may be taken every two to three hours, but it will soon allay these conditions.

6. Of evenings and mornings use a Dobell's salts, or equal portions of salt, soda and cream of tartar in three times the quantity of water; or to 2 ounces of water add a teaspoonful of each of these. But warm it and put in the hand, not in a spray; snuff into the nostrils. This may be done for two or three times and, as we find, will overcome these conditions.
7. But, for the mental balance, for the physical body, for the general physical conditions, be mindful of that given.
8. For if the suggestions are followed as indicated for the meditations, and the general activity of the body made so that there is the exercising through the physical flow, the general blood supply, these physical disturbances will disappear.
9. We are through for the present.
