Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Fla. (Questions on Vashti appearance)

1. EC: Yes, we have the entity, its experience in the earth as Vashti - [1096]; this we have had before.

2. Ready for questions.

3. (Q) Are there any reference books written upon the life of Vashti? If so, where will I be able to find them and what are they called? (A) There may be found reference books in the general library that are of the period or time of Ahasuerus as king, in which there is given a portion of the reference to Vashti and to those experiences. The greater portion of the record has been written or inscribed, as we find, by the individuals tending toward the Jewish faith. Those that have been more recently destroyed as were inscribed by one Hausmier [?], called Dishtogukenhom [?]; [Yiddish?] meaning "the Kings of the East." These, though, would not be immediately obtainable, as these are a portion of those that are in the means or the way of being destroyed through the German activities in the present. But those of the kindred nature, in general, may be had in the Library of Congress - as the Persian Kings.

4. (Q) I would like to know as much as possible of Vashti's childhood and her life as a growing girl especially from her tenth birthday. (A) As given and indicated, Vashti was of those who came from the provinces or regions of the Indian activity as connected with those sojourners from a portion of the country of the day - or Persia. Hence the entity was under the teachings or tutelage of those that were the princes, or prince of the Indians, and trained in all of those early teachings of that period - but trained for the court life.

To gain the full concept of that intimated, the background of the situations might be expanded upon somewhat: Ahasuerus came to the throne in the early twenties, and was not an uncouth man; yet - with the ease of the conditions and surroundings - being lauded by the princes of the various charges over which the counsellors came - he became rather what would be termed in the present as a dissipated man. He was one, though, fair in the GENERAL outlook but with a very decided Roman nose (as would be called in the present), with hazel eyes, with fair hair; the weight being a hundred and seventy-six pounds (as would be termed in the present; then called duets [?]). This was his general mien. With the rising of Ahasuerus to power, many portions of the land - that now would be called Persia, Arabia, portions of Turkey, all of Palestine, all of Hindustan, all of now Tibet, India - were under that rule. The princes of the various lands, as indicated, began with the dissipation of the king. For in bringing ease and temperance to the various groups, there began the political influence for the representation in the various activities of the king, by the various means of inducing or bringing those into power - as Vashti, the queen. As had been a portion of the activities, there were those that were called the queens and those that were the ladies in waiting for the king for the various characters of the entertainments. And these were built up by the princes of the various countries. The determent to Vashti, then, was through Marcius [?], or Marcus [?], of the Persian and Palestine land. Hence those conditions that arose. As to the life itself of Vashti: From the tenth year it was in the teachings of its own peoples, though - as indicated - it was, although of the Persians, active in the Indian land by adoption, among those in authority and in power among the princes. Hence the NATURAL inclination of anxiety of those peoples for the position held by Vashti. This makes rather confusions unless it is all straightened out by those who would interpret same.

During the girlhood or teen age, as indicated in those periods, the entity's inclinations were towards what would now be called the games of the day (the outdoor games), and what eventually came to be known as shuttlecock. The indoor games were what eventually came to be the card games, including - of course - the Egyptian and the tarot. The activities were in the arts, the needlework; especially the workings on linens, the activities in the culinary arts, the preparations of those things for the tables. These were a portion of the education of those that were prepared for positions in high places. Remember, in those periods there were still the castes in that land from which Vashti came. Vashti became the queen when she was then twenty years of age, as time would be counted in the present; and at the time of the dethronement there had been some seven to eight years in the interim. As indicated, Vashti might be described as one BEAUTIFUL of body, of figure. The weight was a hundred and thirty-four, the figure being not what would be termed in the present as heavy, but one graceful, lithesome; one that bespoke of the abilities in all the activities through which the training would carry a person. The entity's hair was dark; the eyes were dark; the nose not snubby, not straight. Rather the entity was BEAUTIFUL of figure and person, ESPECIALLY having small ears.

5. (Q) What were the implements of war in her time? (A) The spear, the battle-axe, and the attachments to war chariots that turned on the wheel.

6. (Q) What were the methods of warfare? (A) The spear and battle-axe; the beginnings, of course, of the sling and the club, the shield and the buckler.

7. (Q) Please give description of clothing worn by the soldiers and the civilians. (A) The toga in its beginning was the dress of the soldiery. The ones in authority, as the king, wore a great deal of color; but rather in the form of robes than material made into clothing. The women during the period had clothing more in the form of garments, as would be termed garments in the present; a great deal of linen for the

underclothing, as in laces; and a great deal of jewelry of all forms, as would be termed today - rings, bracelets - of course, worn on the feet were the sandals, and a great deal of ornaments on same.

8. (Q) Colors worn in clothing and used in the decoration of the rooms of the castles. (A) Blue in the greater portion, with gold - as has been found by many of those in the excavations of those periods. Blues, gold.

9. (Q) What were the means of transportation? (A) The white ass was used for the ROYALTY; while the others used rather the camel in their activity. The most of these came very much later, for in those periods the donkey or the white ass was the mode of travel for the royalty, especially for the women.

10. (Q) Were carriages used by royalty? (A) No carriages; only the two-wheel chariots.

11. (Q) Did the women of the court ride with the men? (A) Never.

12. (Q) Please give description of the palladium on the camel's back. (A) Very good description of same would be that it was very much as a hod carrier's tool, though reverted and made to the proportions and size, see? But this had little to do with the activities of Vashti, and came much later into common use.

13. (Q) What were the means of communication? (A) Messenger.

14. (Q) I would like any and all information I can get of Vashti's wedding with Ahasuerus. (A) All the pomp as may be had from the Persians, with all their color; all the splendor and the sedateness, yet the ROYALTY of the Indians; with all their finery, veils and activity. The periods for the enunciation or announcing of the wedding, and the periods through which the process took place, were a hundred and thirty-three days. This was one continued feasting, with the meats of Persia, the fruits of the Egyptians, as well as the more delicate ones of India being the viands of the period. The ceremony itself was announced by the priests of the eighteen provinces that were a portion of the kingdom, but the actual ceremony itself - to be sure - was announced by the priest of her own particular faith.

15. (Q) Was numerology used to determine important days and names? (A) This was a portion of the experience, but not near so much as it became later indicated - in what is now known as

1096-3 Page 5

astrology.

16. (Q) Why was Vashti dethroned? (A) This has been indicated; the refusal of the queen to present self at those periods when those she knew were in authority for THEIR way of presenting her activity before those peoples during that proclaimed feast for those of ALL lands which were in opposition to those teachings of Vashti.

17. (Q) Is there any further information that may be helpful? (A) Much might be given in interpreting those periods as we find here.
