Time of Reading 11:45 to 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1100] this we have had before.
2. In many respects we find conditions are developing towards greater improvements through the general reactions in the system.
3. However, there are still those tendencies for disturbances in the balance between the acids and the lactics; so that the distresses continue at times in the body by the formation of gas to parts of the lymph activity through the jejunum and to a portion of the colon.
4. So, we would continue with the manipulations; not too DEEPLY given, but sufficiently deep that there may be set up the drainages for the eliminations of the stomach itself. Or STIMULATE the cardiac plexus center in the 1st and 2nd and the 4th and 5th dorsal centers, coordinating the hypogastrics and pneumogastrics and the vagus center in the 2nd, 4th and 5th cervicals.
5. And with these we would add occasionally the Milk of Bismuth and Elixir of Lactated Pepsin. A dose would be taken whenever there is any discomfort felt after meals; not before but AFTER meals. To a teaspoonful of the Milk of Bismuth stirred in half a glass of water, we would put six to ten drops of the Elixir or Essence of Lactated Pepsin. Stir well together and take. The effect of same is to make for a relaxation through the pylorus, and the emptying of the stomach itself. The Pepsin is to act with the lacteals to produce more of the alkalin reaction, while the Bismuth becomes an absorbent and prevents the toxic forces from giving irritation to the mucous membranes of those portions of the body through which these distresses pass; or the duodenum, and the activity of the juices from the pancreas, the activity of the gall ducts in their secretions for the

preparation of foods for proper assimilation, will be stimulated.
6. It may be necessary to take these properties at times for a day or two; then it may not be necessary to take same again for a month. But they are palliatives, and also add to the system the proper elements.
7. Do that.
8. A general Olive Oil Rub at times after the bath at times will be found to be most helpful to the body. But cleanse same with a weakened solution of alcohol afterward. This will not only stimulate the activities of the circulation in the extremities, as of the lower limbs and across the hips, but will also become a FOOD for the body to make for the better capillary circulation.
9. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) How often should the Oil Rub be given? (A) Once a week, or when the body feels like it would desire to have rather the more activity; for it is restful to the body.
11. (Q) Have the recent osteopathic treatments been given too deeply? (A) As indicated, it is not necessary for such a deep activity; for these overtax the system. Hence the properties indicated, combined WITH the osteopathic treatments, occasionally, will be the more helpful.
12. (Q) What causes the sizzling sensation under the left rib occasionally? (A) The regurgitation, as it were; or the lack of the proper balance for that coordination in the lacteal flow. Hence those properties given.
13. (Q) What can be done to relieve the constipation without resorting to laxatives? (A) We are adding properties that will produce, with the manipulations, more of an even flow through the peristaltic activity - through the flow of lymph. While these tendencies at times form accumulations, when the massages or the manipulations are given have more of those across the abdomen that stir not only from the plexus along the spine but those across the abdomen; as kneading. These will be most helpful, for they stimulate the flow of the gastric forces through the caecum and through the ileum plexus.
14. (Q) Any further advice for the general welfare of this body? (A) Keep the mental attitudes of helpfulness and hopefulness in its relationships, in its dealings with the fellow man. For these will make for greater returns in

harmony and peace within self, than may be acquired in any other way or manner. And also bring for SELF, not only a useful life but useful in a PURPOSEFUL manner.
