1. EC: Yes, we have the body here; this we have had before, in [1112].
2. As we find, there are those conditions that are in a nature acute. These in the present arise from a strain followed by cold, congestion, that has brought about congested areas through the internal activity of organs themselves.
3. As combined with the depleted condition and the old disturbances, that have been indicated, this makes for the rising of a little temperature; those cold and hot sensations, those congestions through the digestive forces, through the lung, the throat and the head.
4. Then, as we find in the first at present, we would give that to the body in this manner to bring about heat - and changes first:
5. We would massage along, from the upper portion of the spine, or from the shoulder blades and between the shoulder blades to the end of the spine, with equal parts of Mutton Suet, Turpentine and Spirits of Camphor. Make this so it may be massaged into the body, and take all the body will absorb. Then fold a heavy flannel, heat it very hot, and let the body lie upon this - for the whole length.
6. Also we would massage this mixture thoroughly into the feet and the lower limbs, especially in the feet.
7. Take internally a compound prepared in this way and manner. Make at least three capsules. In EACH capsule there would be put the following ingredients, these proportions: Podophyllum...................1/2 grain, Leptandrin......................1 grain, Sanguinaria.....................1 grain, Compound of Cascara, or Cascara Sagrada...........1 grain. Let these be taken at least one day apart.

8. After the three capsules have been taken, then take a bottle of Fletcher's Castoria. Take this in three doses, a third of the bottle at each dose.
9. And we would find, with then the general massage, keeping the body on fruit and vegetable diet for the three to four days, he should be near to normal.
