1. EC: Yes, we have the records here of the entity now known as [1113]; and those influences that make for an activity in the experiences of the entity in the present.
2. From the astrological aspects, irrespective of the will and the activities of the entity in its various reactions to the appearances in the earth, we find this as a summation:
3. One sympathetic of nature; especially as regards those who suffer physical or mental ills.
4. It is one rather inclined to sneer at failures from the lack of activity on the part of others.
5. We find it is one rather inclined to interests of an unusual nature in the opposite sex.
6. One with high mental capacity, yet tending towards the nature of being so sympathetic as to become in a great manner psychic - or under psychic influence.
7. One whose tendencies and abilities make for a leader in its own group of associates; or make such associations and contacts in which the bodily-entity would become as one honored or respected, or as a leader in same.
8. One whose first intuitive forces are more often the better than those of the more deliberate nature, or of a purely physical or mental reasoning.
9. Hence there are times when great opportunities for advancement are overlooked by the waiting for what may be termed "more mature judgement."
10. Most of the seeking for counsel is for verification of self's own ideas, rather than for actual advice. This does not indicate that the entity is one that is wholly egotistical, or too egotistical within self; but it should be as a warning respecting BECOMING so, in portions of its experience, because of its material or social successes.
11. The astrological influences are exhibited as urges in the MENTAL force of the entity, [1113] as now known.
1113-1 Page 2
However, be sure of this:
12. NO URGE - whether astrological or earthly, or hereditary or environmental - SURPASSES the WILL!
13. For WITH the WILL one makes one's environs, and - in the deeper sense - one's own hereditary environs.
14. From the entity's astrological sojourns, then, we find:
15. Jupiter becomes the ruling influence. Hence the inclinations that are both of a positive and negative influence in the experience of the entity:
16. One whose associations are greater among those things and conditions dealing with large NUMBERS of peoples; yet that become rather personal in aspect. Hence the greater advantage for the material or mental successes in the experience will be through the entity's engaging in any line of business or association in which the product - whether by manufacture or by distribution - is to become, in its final analysis, a PERSONAL representative or a personal association.
17. Those things that have to do with the NATURAL resources, then, rather than those of a synthetic nature, become the channel through which the greater activities are indicated in the experience of the entity in the present.
18. However, we find that a great amount of those things that represent or that become the medium of exchange between groups, classes or masses, will be under the direction or influence of the entity; provided the entity's OWN personal associations do not make for hindrances in this direction - or entanglements of any nature, whether with the opposite sex or with those in whom the entity may allow its greater SYMPATHIES to override its better judgements.
19. Yet these are not to be considered lightly; neither should the entity become - as may be termed in the parlance of the day - "hardboiled" in these directions. But there are those conditions that are weaknesses, and there are those conditions that are failures, and there are those experiences that will bring varying disturbing influences. Yet do not allow self to become too easily discouraged by ANY material activity. Rather let THIS be the criterion, or the expression of self:
20. In whatever state the self is found to be, THAT may be USED as a stepping-stone to greater opportunities and to greater successes - if the laws that pertain to spiritual forces, in expression in a mental and material world, are kept in sight.
21. From the Venus influences, we find the entity making a great number of friends, of associations that deal with the relationships both with its fellows and with those of the
1113-1 Page 3
opposite sex. And these are useful, if they are used in their proper relationships.
22. WELL that the entity study, either from the mental or from the material angle, the proper evaluation of friends. For, again, we find there are friends - and friends. The law pertaining to same is true, that no matter how many one may have, one cannot afford to lose a real friend; but "hangers on" are different!
23. The influences from Mercury, we find, make for a high MENTAL efficiency; and the ability for an analysis of conditions and relations. Yet the entity has not always given proper evaluations of circumstances or conditions.
24. Hence HERE the judgements of the intuitive nature may be brought to mean a great deal more in the experience of the entity.
25. As to the relationships from the appearances in the earth, these become - in material manifestations - rather the SENSE urge, as related to the EMOTIONS of the body.
26. And we find that emotions, both in its relationships with others and to conditions of others, do play - should play - an important part in the experiences of the entity.
27. Hence we may find the entity oft in close relationships with individuals who through former appearances were close in activity to the entity.
28. Before this, then, we find the entity was in the environs of the present relationships of the entity, during those periods when there were the strugglings among those in the land to which the entity had come; for the entity spent the greater portion of its development in the material sense in and about that STILL known as New York; in the early portions of those activities, but during those relations known as the Revolutionary period.
29. The entity then, in the name Samuel Goldling (Don't leave off the G, for this was added by the entity when he began his activities among the tradings in furs), had to do with the exchange of furs, and of manufactured cloth and goods of various natures that were sold through the entity's associations and activities - during the beginning of the home furnishings. These were the activities of the entity during that period.
30. And the entity gave of self in a great measure for its principles; GAINING in the material sense, losing in its trusting sense; gaining much in its spiritual development during that sojourn.
31. We find, as indicated, many of those that were in authority - whether in the defending or offending forces, or in the British or the American - are in association with the
1113-1 Page 4
entity in the present, or associations will come about; as even in the home in the present, as even in its associations in buying and selling in its own relationships and dealings. And these are well. But keep thou the way OPEN for - not speculative, but rather spiritual MEDITATIVE forces. For, gain this:
32. "He that would be the greatest among you will be the servant of all."
33. In service, without thought of PERSONAL gain, comes that which makes for the greater growth for the soul.
34. Before that we find (among those now influencing the entity's activities) the entity was in the earth when there were many expansions among the Roman forces, the Roman influences; when there were those of the soldiery in the Roman forces that were making expansions of the militaristic attitude of the land - or the rulers thereof.
35. The ENTITY then was pressed into service from the Sicilian land.
36. Then in the name Edestern, the entity served in the capacity as one among those who kept the supply of foods, and who looked after the barracks for the various groups with whom the entity served; both in northern Africa and in the Palestine land.
37. Yet the entity gained much in its OWN speculative forces by the gatherings of those things that would be termed in the present as the exchange between various lands for conveniences in the home.
38. Hence we find in the experience of the entity in the present there is the LOVE of the great outdoors, yet STILL an interest and an influence for being in great crowds - and in the associations of those where there may be a great deal of the secular life.
39. From those associations come also the judgements in the decorative forces for the home, whether in the home as to a nation, home as to an office, or home as to the marital relationships. These are effective in the experience of the entity in the manners in which it is as a portion of self to view in any room - no matter of what nature or character - or to immediately note - its furnishings, it entrances, its doors, its windows, its places of egress or ingress, and the like; and especially as to its lighting, and such natures.
40. Hence those things also that may pertain to associations or connections that make for the better living quarters, or INVESTMENTS in those things in AIR CONDITIONING, will be a source of material gain for the entity in the present.
41. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as the Egyptian, during those periods when there were the
1113-1 Page 5
upbuildings of that land; when the natives and the Atlanteans were making associations with other nations, not only as to the commercial associations but as to the mental and spiritual relations also.
42. The ENTITY acted in the capacity then of what would be termed in the present as a representative, or consulate, in the land NOW known as the Grecian; making then for the associations from the material angle, yet learning much from the mental and spiritual forces that added to - at times - confusion, in the relationships of the entity during those periods.
43. But the entity made for that from the material side which may be applied in the experience in the present; that those things in the mental and in the material, or those things in matter of every nature - whether of gases or of the mineral, or of the vegetable, or of the animal kingdoms - are but a pattern of those influences from which they emanate.
44. And remember, that in whatever sphere of experience thou art, MIND is the Builder.
45. Then, make thy mind - in thy material, in thy social, in thy mental activity with thy fellow man - as one with Creative Forces, or the SPIRITUAL things! For these, that may become a part of each soul, may find expression most in the dealings of the individual or the self with its fellow man.
46. For as ye measure to others, so will it be measured to thee again. Do GOOD to others; not alone that they may do good to thee, but that GOOD - in all its phases - may BECOME a part of thee!
