Time of Reading 3:50 to 4:10 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have those desires and those conditions about this body, [1113].
2. Now, as we find, there are rather those conditions of which the body should be warned; and the tendencies that are apparent that would bring about those conditions necessary for giving such warnings, rather than any definite conditions that would be as apparent in the present.
3. These are conditions, then, as we find them with this body, [1113]:
4. THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this indicates a full flow, an activity that is good throughout, save as a tendency towards too great an amount of fat, or fatty portions in the body; and those conditions that disturb the body at times when long or continued activity on the feet.
5. These are the conditions in the circulation and the effect of same upon the glands about the lower portion of the torso and the conditions that this increase of weight or fat produces within the lungs, the heart and the condition between heart and liver.
6. If the proper precautions are taken, these are NOT disturbances that should make for any great anxiety. For the vitality and the resistances are good.
7. THE NERVE REACTIONS ARE GOOD, the responses as through both the central nervous system and the sympathetics or the vegetative system are good.
8. IN THE ORGANS OF THE BODY, there may be taken some precautions as to those effects that these disturbances of a nature might produce, or pressures that might produce incoordination - if the proper precautions are not taken. These to the eyes, to the ears, to the throat, to the whole of the sensory forces. Pressures especially upon the glands through those portions of the body as indicated make for a strain, sympathetically, upon the organs of the sensory forces.

9. If precautions are taken, though, if there are the considerations of all portions of the body, these should not give a great deal of trouble; and we should keep an equal balance throughout the activities.
10. FIRST, THEN, WE WOULD GIVE THESE AS SUGGESTIONS FOR THE BODY IN ITS PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES:
11. Do not burn the candle at both ends; that is, do not DRIVE self too strenuously. Rather is it more advisable that the body budget its time for recuperation, for activities in these directions that make for keeping the bodily forces, the mental forces - yea, and the spiritual forces, in an ACTIVE force or active manner without making too great a strain upon ANY of them.
12. Take time for rest but take time ALSO for play, as well as for work physical and work mental AND work spiritual; that the body may keep physically fit, may keep mentally acute, may keep spiritually balanced. These not as rote but rather as making a life, and experience worth while and well balanced. And these will produce in the body a GREATER ability for making the experience more worth while for self in EVERY manner.
13. How are these, then, to be accomplished?
14. Have regular periods for a physical exercise of whatever nature that may be chosen by the body. As well as in the open or in the environs that may be had in the open, have a regular PERIOD for these and let this be included in it; that at least once each week there is workout, as it were, in some manner in which FOLLOWING same there may be a sweat, a change of temperature for the body by the physical exercise; following same by a thorough rubdown. And at the period when the rubdowns are taken, have such a masseur give special attention to the bursae of the feet and especially, also, to that massage through the GROIN, through the lumbar, through those areas of the end of the spine; that we may relieve those tensions upon the glands that tend to make for heaviness by too much sitting or too great an activity WITHOUT the proper recuperative forces; or the glands in that area about the coccyx end of the spine.
15. In the massaging of the feet be mindful of the bursae in the heel, or the Achillean bursa; those in the matter of the feet; those in the toes. And coordinate these with the muscles and tendons under the knees. Thus we will RESTRAIN those activities for pressures upon the lower portions of the body.
16. These activities will keep the body from too great an increasing in the weight of the body, or of it becoming localized about the waist or through the shoulders either.
1113-2 Page 3
17. In the matter of the diet, not too great quantities of highly seasoned foods - as in too much of red meat; for these tend to make for too great a strain upon the digestive forces. Do not combine great quantities of starches with the sweets that are taken; though these may be taken separately. Rather let the meats be fish, fowl, lamb, than those of beef or those that are not WELL cooked or prepared.
18. And we will find we will keep the body mentally and physically fit, giving the opportunities for greater expression through the spiritual impulses and forces of the body.
19. Ready for questions.
20. Would be well at times, when the body is tired, either mentally or physically, to use the Radio-Active Appliance. This not as a REGULAR thing; only when tired or weary or when there's been too great an exercise. This will be found to be restful and helpful for the body.
