Time of Reading 11:40 to 11:55 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. Miami Beach, Fla. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1114].

2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions. These may in a manner be easily eliminated, however, if taken in time; and with the proper precautions or proper consideration given each disturbing factor.

3. These, as we find, arise from the poor coordination in the distribution of assimilated forces, as well as from incoordination in eliminating forces. Hence we find a variation, or a complication of disturbing factors or forces that arise from these conditions; that are in the form of a plethora in the lymph circulation through the torso, or the intestinal system, through the organs of the pelvis, and through the conditions that are produced by these pockets or sacs forming and making pressures on portions of the body.

4. Then, these are conditions as we find in the present with this body, [1114] we are speaking of:

5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, by its variations, this indicates the very conditions or disturbances. For at times there is a variation in its pressure, or the slowing up of the circulation to the extremities as related to its RETURN to the torso or trunk portion of the body.

6. Hence the feelings of tired heaviness through the lumbar and lower limbs at times. At others there are dull headaches, conditions through the sensory forces, stiffness or heaviness in the hands, in the shoulders, the head. ALL of these are effects of VARIED conditions. Not that they exist at ALL times. For, as first indicated, these are VARYING conditions, owing to the attempts of the system to adjust itself.

7. There having been pressures, then, in the torso portion, or in the lower dorsal area, there has been caused a constant slowing up of circulation to various portions of the system; or impulses to the portions of the system that -

1114-1 Page 2

with the general conditions - has added to these as we have indicated.

8. These pressures in the NERVE SYSTEM, as we find, exist in the form of a circular lesion in the 9th and 10th dorsal center.

9. Hence the formation of gasses at times through the lack of the activities through the eliminating system; those tendencies for nausea to occur at other periods.

10. All of these are effects of a varied condition arising.

11. IN THE ORGANS THEMSELVES OF THE SYSTEM, all of these at VARIED times become involved in the condition.

12. As we find, in making applications, then, we would begin with these:

13. First we would begin with specific adjustments osteopathically given in the lumbar and brachial area, and in the cervical. These should be corrected first; while the area of the 9th dorsal - or the middle portion - would be GRADUALLY done, not too much at first.

14. These treatments we would give about twice or three times a week, which would have nothing to do with the general massage that might be taken as a portion of the routine of the body; but these are more the specific - WITH general treatments also.

15. After a week of these osteopathic treatments have been taken, then we would begin taking properties internally that would be partially as a tonic, partially as an eliminant. These will work together with the applications of the corrections in the osteopathic manner, setting up drainages for the whole system. Prepare same in this way and manner:

16. First make a carrier. To 2 ounces of Wild Cherry Bark add 16 ounces of Distilled Water. Reduce this by simmering until there are 6 ounces left. Then pour off and add to same 2 ounces of Strained Honey. Let this come to a boil, straining off the sediments that will arise with same. Then, while warm (not hot, but just warm), add - IN THE ORDER NAMED: Essence of Wild Ginger...................1/4 ounce, Essence of Wild Ginseng..................1/2 ounce, Essence or Tincture of Stillingia........1/4 ounce, A fusion or Essence of Yellow Dock Root..1/4 ounce, Syrup of Horehound.......................1/4 ounce, Pure Grain Alcohol.......................1/2 ounce. Shake the solution well before taking. The dose would be a teaspoonful twice each day, upon arising in the morning before any meal is taken, and just before retiring at night.

17. We would also use the Radio-Active Appliance for producing rest for the body, and to make for an equalization in the impulses and blood flow through the system; by attaching to the extremities, circling same about the body; right wrist, left ankle; left wrist, right ankle - going AROUND the body. So, on the third day, instead of the attachment being first to the wrist, it would be to the left ankle and then to the right wrist; while the next day it would be first to the right ankle and then to the left wrist. Then the next time it would be first to the left wrist, right ankle, etc., making a circle of the body. Use the Appliance each day, from thirty minutes to an hour, while resting; or each evening when retiring.

18. Also be mindful of the diet, that LESS of meats are taken. And no fried meats or fried foods of any kind. Have LESS of white breads.

19. These, as we find, would make for an equalizing and a bringing about of a much better condition for this body.

20. Take the osteopathic manipulations as indicated for three weeks, and then rest from same a week.

21. When the whole quantity of the compound has been taken, we would then give further instructions.

22. Ready for questions.

23. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] with directions to OSTEOPATH. See letter [which was enclosed] with directions to DRUGGIST.
