Time of Reading 11:45 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1124].

2. Now, as we find, there is rather a combination of disturbances. And we find that some causes which are apparent will disappear when the basis or the real cause of the disturbing forces is eliminated or eradicated from the system.

3. The basic cause is:

4. There being a lack of elements in the system that go to make up the basic force for the nerve WALLS of the nerve system, these have become short circuited - as it might be termed - in ganglia, in the supplying of nutriment for portions of the system.

5. Hence we find a diffusion of impulse, and much disturbance appearing at times in the general vitality of the system. Again we may find the digestive forces of the body being disturbed. Again we will find the locomotions of the body disturbed.

6. These, then, are the conditions that are to be considered and to be met. And when these are corrected we will find an improvement, with the ability for the proper building of the system back to normalcy in its coordinating and cooperative reaction in the physical forces of the body.

7. The metabolism becomes disturbed, the nerve energies - and there are periods when the body has a reflex in a sort of "jitter." Again we will find headaches, and the weak debilitation. And these, to be sure, would grow or centralize - or make for greater disturbances in other directions - unless corrected.

8. In meeting the needs of the conditions, then, as we find in the present.

9. First we would begin with giving into the system those influences or forces in a combination or in a manner that will supply the necessary elements needed, and at the same time make for a corrective force in some of the specific disturbances that arise through the soft tissue (as in head

and throat) as well as a general reaction through the respiratory system, where there are the tendencies - through those conditions - for the body to have an overtemperature or an overcirculation in the exterior portions or the superficial circulation, especially at night.

10. Then, we would begin by taking - at least each day, one and a half grains of Calcidin. These may be taken in half grain or in grain tablets; or they may be dissolved in water, kept warm, and sipped three or four times each day. This will relieve the heaviness that occurs at times through the respiratory system; it will relieve those tendencies for the shaking that comes at times - or the nervous reactions. And it will supply those elements of the calcium and iodine in a manner in which they may be absorbed for the system.

11. Also every other day, in the evening, we would have a massage using a combination of equal parts of Tincture of Myrrh, Olive Oil and Compound Tincture of Benzoin. Heat the Olive Oil to add the other ingredients. Only massage what the body will absorb; over the whole of the cerebrospinal system; beginning in the central portion and working towards each end of the cerebrospinal system.

12. Following each massage with the oils, we would have a general manipulation of an osteopathic nature; but especially that the locomotary centers and the solar plexus centers will be stimulated for a coordination with the general activities of the body.

13. These we would keep up for a period of three to four weeks (that is, the properties taken internally, the massage and the osteopathic treatments), and then we would rest from same for a week. Then continue again.

14. In the matter of the diet, make it those things that are of better assimilation; so that those reactions as will be created by these properties within the system and their effect upon the general activity of the body will be such as to add not too much of those elements that will cause crystallization in an already THINNED wall in the system, but rather those that tend to make for stamina in same.

15. Hence we will find that the vegetables should be two below the ground to one growing above the ground.

16. The meats should be of the tendon nature, as a character of beef and certain preparations of ham; wild game, those that have sinew and muscle in same. For these would carry - or the gristly portions of these would carry - that within them to supply the necessary forces for the disturbing factors, in the form that may be assimilated by the body.

17. In this way and manner we may bring for this body, [1124] as we find, near to normal conditions.

18. Also it would be well occasionally, for the rest and for an equalized circulation, that the Radio-Active Appliance be used; two or three times a week, this preferably as the body rest during the day, rather than in the evening. Or should disturbances come in the body sleeping or resting at night, then apply same. Make the attachments to opposite extremities, keeping the anodes or plates very clean. Do not cover the Appliance WITH the ice, but have it sufficiently high on same that it is equalized in its effect upon the body - as BODILY effect upon it.

19. We are through for the present. Copy to Dr. [980] " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] with directions to Health Home Remedies Co. for preparing the Radio-Active Appliance. Also see article [which was enclosed] explaining theory of such an appliance.)
