Time of Reading 11:35 to 11:45 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body; this we have had before, [1126].

2. As we find, while in some respects improvements are indicated in the activities and in the mental and physical reactions of the body, there is yet much to be desired for the body.

3. The use and the keeping of the Appliance that we have indicted for the body, as we find, WILL make for this better coordination.

4. And then being mindful that the exercises of the body in the open are of such a nature that they bring as near or as much of pleasant surroundings as possible for the body, with the activities being DIRECTED in the most ways and manners, will prove to be the more helpful conditions for the body.

5. We will find, too, that a compound may be combined and used that will be helpful when the body becomes restless, either early of morning (as it occurs at times) or during those periods when it should be the time for preparing to retire. Such a compound would be prepared in this manner: Tincture of Valerian.....................2 ounces, Elixir of Calisaya.......................2 ounces, 20% solution Bromide of Potassium.......20 minims, 10% solution Iodide of Potassium........20 minims, Tincture of Capsici......................5 minims. Shake this together before the dose is taken, which would be only when there is restlessness, early of morning or upon retiring. A teaspoonful may be given an hour apart, until three or four doses are taken. This is rather bitter, and a little sip of wine or soda water (carbonated water, not plain soda water) would be well, following same.

6. Also it would be well that each evening before retiring the body would be given, or would take, as hot a bath as is possible. Even a rubdown, not necessarily IN the water but

a rubdown along the spine; just as hot as the body can stand same. And then with this hot, this way and manner, apply COLD - just as cold as the body can stand; with water - not in ice - but cold water sponge down the spine. This general reaction will be most helpful.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) Is milk good for the body? (A) In moderation, and NOT raw milk. This should be heated, or let come to a boil - and yet MODIFIED for this body; that is, to a quart of the milk that has been - or before heating, put to the quart of milk a teaspoonful of limewater and a teaspoonful of soda - level teaspoonful, you see, of the limewater and of the baking soda; and let come to the boil. With these additions, we take out of the raw milk much that is harmful for the body. Do not take too much at a time. About two glasses a day should be sufficient. Of course, it should be taken after it has cooled - or after being prepared and allowing to cool.

9. (Q) Is sunshine good for the body? (A) Sunshine is good, but the body should remain in the shade and not too much directly in the rays of the sun.

10. (Q) Is walking good for the body? (A) Walking is good for the body. Do these things, and we will find we will bring the better conditions.

11. (Q) Would it be wise to put this body in an institution? (A) Be very UNWISE, if there is the ability to keep those about the body that may make for the better conditions; for this would simply be putting it away.
