Time of Reading 3:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical suggestion, with special reference to head, kidneys and throat)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1131].

2. Now, as we find, there are some specific conditions that affect the general physical functioning of the body. The conditions, as we find, are rather in the present of reflex natures than of the organic disturbance, though in part we find organs disturbed in their functioning through the specific disorders that exist.

3. These, then, are conditions as we find them physically with this body, [1131] we are speaking of, present in this room:

4. First, in the BLOOD supply, this we find very good in most of its reactions, yet there is seen at times a deficiency of - or in the numbers of - the red blood supply, in the attempt of the system to produce through that assimilated sufficient of the white blood or leucocyte to meet the needs of coagulation, by the effect of disturbances in the blood supply, or blood circulation, where the pressures and disorders produce irritations to various portions of the body - as seen in the head, the throat, and especially so in the sympathetic functioning in relationship to the sensory organism. Hence we find the membranes of the head, the throat, show the effect of an improper circulation through those portions, by - or caused by - some specific conditions in the system that hinder or prevent a proper circulation.

5. In the NERVE system, here we find the seat and the cause, as we find, of the specific disturbances in the system; so that the results or effects that are seen in head noises at times, in throat disturbances, in the activities of the lower portion of the hepatic circulation, are produced by the reflex action from pressures in the cerebrospinal nerve system, which affect the body in the disorders that are seen.

1131-1 Page 2

These, as we find, exist in the 4th and 5th dorsal area, and through the pressure there affect the circulation in its relationships to the sympathetic centers or plexus, and the pressure is only in part - and at times we find, especially with cold or congestion, or if the body is over tired from physical exercise or from mental strain, or from disturbance through the sleeping hours, there is a heaviness felt between the shoulders, dull headaches and pains along the back of the head, or stiffness felt there, with the results that follow of a fullness in the throat and the disturbances to the antrum and nasal passages, then the heavy pains with resultant conditions that come from same in the disturbance to digestive or assimilating system. The pressure, then, specifically exists in the 4th and 5th dorsal area, and sympathetically in the 3rd, 4th and 2nd cervical area, to the head and to the neck, as well as that one which exists in the 1st sacral area, that makes for a disturbance to the organs of the lower portion of the hepatic circulation, which becomes more effective or active in the disturbance when there has been some disturbance in the digestive area; or the kidney area then becomes disturbed, and we have - as is seen - an abnormal specific gravity, showing some signs of a sedimentary condition in the activities of the kidneys themselves, though no organic condition is existent save in the functional. If the condition is not removed, and irritations still exist, and there are periods when an over balancing of certain elements in the system that would affect the kidneys, this must become then not only functional but organic. These, as we find, may be distributed and eliminated, provided they are taken in time and the pressures that are the cause or the impulses for same are removed from the system.

6. In the functioning of the ORGANS themselves:

7. Brain forces are very good.

8. All of the organs of the sensory system - that is, the organs as find their effect in response to their purposes and aids in the head - are disturbed by the pressures, that act more as that of a catarrhal condition existent - but are really impairments of circulation and impulses from the pressures that exist in the dorsal and cervical area.

9. In the throat these show the effect that is created in the muco-membranes and soft tissue, soft palate, and also the antrum and soft tissue are disturbed.

10. The bronchi and larynx at times show the effect. Especially does it become affected by the fumes of gases, or of those things that excite the membranes of the throat and

1131-1 Page 3

larynx. These have not as yet disturbed the functionings of the system as related to the respiratory system, but without their removal - or without their pressures being removed - must eventually affect the membranes of the lungs themselves; for these at times feel heavy and disturbed more by the restlessness that is experienced by the body at times, when there has been special pressure to the head and neck.

11. Heart's action near normal, considering the condition or variation in the blood supply and pulsation.

12. Digestive system rather that of a nervous indigestion, for the muco-membranes being over-active in the activities to the head leave those effects in the digestion as of periods when indigestion occurs, or certain foods affect the body easily; again we find the same foods seem to agree and give a better reaction actually at times to the system.

13. In the lower portion of the hepatic circulation, where those pressures exist in the 1st sacral area, this comes from a pressure that has existed in the coccyx and the lower area for some time, and gives a reflex to the functioning of the lower hepatic circulation - but with the removal of the pressure in other portions this disturbance in the digestion, as well as in throat and head, will be relieved, and the conditions will become near normal for the body.

14. In meeting, then, the needs of these, as we find, not only must there be consideration given as to the correcting of those pressures that make for the disturbance in the impulses of the nerve system as related to the cerebrospinal and sympathetic in their junctions in these specific centers, but the disturbance that already exists in the muco-membranes or the soft tissues of portions of the system must be taken into consideration and that which will be effective locally in these must also be applied.

15. First we would have osteopathic adjustments, such as will relieve those pressures in the upper dorsal, cervical, and the lower lumbar and sacral area. These would not begin, however, until the condition of local nature in the throat and head has at least been in part set in such an order as to cause absorption and eliminations to be brought about, by the effect of releasing pressures in the cerebrospinal system so that these conditions may be absorbed and eliminated from the system.

16. These we would do by the use of small amounts of sulphur blown or sprayed into the throat. These will affect the head, the pressures in the head, the pressures as to the soft tissues. These we would do, about that which would fill the lower end of a quill would be blown into throat.

1131-1 Page 4

This would be done every other day for at least ten treatments, see?

17. Then we would use a mild emit or laxative, such as may be found in a preparation of this: One dose should be sufficient. After this is taken, two days later we would begin with the corrections osteopathically: Senna.................................1/2 grain, Cascara Sagrada.......................1/4 grain, Leptandrin............................1/2 grain, Sanguinaria...........................1/2 grain. This may be prepared, or preferably prepared, in a capsule.

18. The corrections would take six to eight treatments. These should be given every other day.

19. After the corrections have been made, we would find that the general exercises and considering of the diet that will build for the better eliminations and proper balancing of the system, will bring about a normal condition for this body, [1131].

20. Ready for questions.

21. (Q) When will I be perfectly well? (A) When you do that which will get you well!

22. (Q) I am easily irritated. Is it because I am not physically well, or a lack of self-control? (A) One with the pressures existent, especially on the sympathetic and cerebrospinal system, is tending to be easily irritated. Loss of patience with self more than with others is usually found as the condition. With the removal of these pressures that exist, with the normal functioning of the membranes of the throat, head, the pressures removed in the sympathetic system, the body should be more buoyant, more hopeful, and a great deal more optimistic; for it's pessimistic in itself oftentimes now.

23. (Q) Please outline a diet that would help the body to become strong and healthy. (A) Let's do these things that we have outlined first. Leave the diet with that which will build for the system as the conditions call for the activities in system; for, as we will find, we will require a well balanced diet. Specific conditions exist in the cerebrospinal system. The correcting of these is necessary. Diets will not correct where pressures exist. They will aid in the elimination, or the adjusting when the system functions through normalcy. Do these first.

24. (Q) What exercise should the body take, that might be beneficial? (A) After we have taken these adjustments and the

1131-1 Page 5

corrections for the system, the proper exercises - as we find - would be: Mornings - that portion of the body above the diaphragm. The head and neck exercise, the movement of the arms up and down, the expansion of the chest and of the abdomen. Evenings - just before retiring - those that will relax the lower portion of the body, the circular motion of the body from the hips downward, preferably with the body lying prone and swinging the body about. These taken systematically will bring strength, vitality, and the normal activities for the body. Do these.

25. (Q) What may be done to cure a soft palate? (A) We have outlined that for the system, for the soft palate, for the tissue in the throat, for those pressures produced in all the circulatory system to the head and neck.

26. (Q) I am supposed to have a floating kidney. How may it be replaced permanently in the right place without an operation? (A) The condition that exists there is NOT that of a floating kidney. It is as seen, a relieving of the proper tautness in the lower portion of the system, which affects that portion of the capsule in which the kidney is, in its activity, so that this produces that easiness of action that is existent. With the proper adjustments that may be made here in the lumbar and sacral area, we will find this condition will be overcome.

27. (Q) Whom can the body get to give osteopathic treatments, who will give them as directed by the information? (A) Those that are in sympathy with same; as we find especially in Richardson, or those that are in sympathy with the body.

28. (Q) Is there any astrological influences that affect the body? (A) Not as related to the physical conditions. That is what we have been asked for, and that we have given.

29. (Q) What is a good tooth cream and mouth wash that will keep the teeth and gums in good condition? (A) That which is BEST as a mouth wash for the gums may be found in that of Ipsab. That which is best for the teeth is a combination of salt and soda, which is better than all the concoctions that have been sold in tubes or pastes.

30. (Q) To what colors does the body vibrate? (A) For GOOD to those of blue. For bad to those of purple and red.

31. (Q) Is the body working too much for its good? (A) Too much for its strength, but not too much for its good! Let the improvements be in the physical conditions of

1131-1 Page 6

the body, and it will enjoy its associations and its labors much better. Do as we have outlined.
