1. EC: Yes, we find the body here, [1133].

2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions in the physical forces of this body. While these bring a great deal of disturbance both to the mental and to the physical reactions, and activities that at times cause distress or anxiety to others, we find that these are more or less a natural consequence of changes that are coming about in the physical forces of the body.

3. If these are taken as those things where there is the addition to the system of those factors of a sedimentary nature to produce rest, or that which appears to be needed for the body at times, or if there is the administration of those factors that keep other than a normal balance through the body, then we may bring about much GREATER disturbing factors than exist in the present.

4. As these periods are lessened, and as the body-functioning changes in those things that are wrought in the activities of the circulation, in the changes in the manner and channels through which eliminations and exhaustive forces are created for outlets for the natural functioning of those conditions in the body-physical, then there may be brought the better conditions for the body - by the keeping of an even balance and those conditions about the body mentally and physically in such a way that there is not an excess of one way or another.

5. But this requires some effort, to be sure, on the part of the body itself as well as those proper cares and considerations given to the idiosyncrasies at times that appear to be in the desires physically and mentally of the body.

6. Hence, as we find, these are those disturbing conditions that arise from the menopause period and the natural accompanying conditions of same.

7. As we would find, then, in giving that as would be the better:

8. At least once a week, or twice a week for a period of three weeks, we would have the osteopathic treatments - gently given.

9. Each day also we would have the low electrical vibrations that arise from the use of the Radio-Active Appliance, that will keep an even keel in the circulation. Keep the anodes clean, and be careful that the applications are kept in such a manner that they are in perfect contact with the opposite extremities of the body, for an hour or so each day - as the body rests.

10. And these periods of melancholia, the periods of the inability to sleep (or the insomnia), those disturbing forces in the digestive system, those tendencies for the body to become overexcited and overanxious - or to express overanxiety at periods - will gradually disappear.

11. After the osteopathic treatments have been taken for a period of three weeks, as indicated, then rest from same two or three weeks before resuming these treatments.

12. But keep up the Radio-Active Appliance each day, as indicated; or if needs be twice a day, for an hour or hour and a half is not too long.

13. Keep the body WARM at most times, but plenty of exercise in the open - just so the body is not tired too much.

14. The activities that would make for keeping the nominal eliminations through the alimentary canal, as coordinant with the activities by the osteopathic manipulative forces, would bring the better conditions for this body, [1133].

15. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) What diet should the body adhere to? (A) Not too much of sweets, but rather a well-balanced diet; dependent upon the activities of the body and its ability for assimilation.

17. (Q) Any special exercise? (A) As indicated; as much as may be possible in the open - these are very good. Well that the body rather balance or budget its own mental and physical activities; or its time for recreation, for receiving, for its own entertainment, for its own mental and physical improvements and for its activities in the caring for the disturbing forces that occur at this period. But do not ever let any of these activities become ROTE! Keep the surroundings as pleasant as possible; not always giving in but not always causing anxiety to the body either. Do this.
