Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes.
2. As we find, while there are physical disturbances in the general functioning of this body, these disturbances may be said to be more of a complication involving the physical with the mental attitudes that work for disturbances of the body.
3. While their responses are oft through the nervous system (and it may be termed a nervous disturbance), the physical reactions are such that these upset the body other than just in the nervous forces or influences activative in the system.
4. These cleared, as we find, would make for a much different outlook upon the conditions in the experiences of the body, and those reactions in the physical forces that APPARENTLY arise from OTHER or more specific disturbances. But these allayed, or the causes removed, we would find different reactions.
5. Hence we find in the physical forces, these:
6. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, there are those disturbances in the katabolism of the system, so that the digestive influences become more in the form of the nervous digestion. Or at times when the least upset, most every sort of food or viand disturbs the body. Also at periods the reactions are irritations in portions of the circulatory system; producing a condition that borders onto that of a NEUROTIC reaction in the tissues in portions of the system. But these, as we find, would disappear with a balance in the circulatory forces through activities that may be had with the general physical reactions as may be produced in the circulatory forces of the body.
7. IN THE NERVE FORCES THEMSELVES, as indicated, here we find some basic disturbances physically - as well as those that are reactory upon the nerve forces of the body, through pressures that are indicated in the pelvic organs (or those across the lower lumbar axis). These, with the

cerebrospinal and sympathetic reaction, make for nerve pressures and disturbances; also those periods when there is the inability to hold self TOGETHER, as it were, under the strains that arise through the mental forces and activities of the body. These become as irritations. Thus there is the inability to sleep as well as it should, or to rest without having those activities for the system that would react upon the nerve forces of the body.
8. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, these, we find, react to the disturbances in the nervous forces of the body.
9. IN MAKING APPLICATIONS THAT WOULD BE HELPFUL, then:
10. We would use the Radio-Active Appliance, for the quieting of the nerve forces of the body and to equalize the circulation throughout the system.
11. There should be at least three to six adjustments AND general treatments given through the osteopathic measures, for the relieving of pressures in the LUMBAR area as indicated.
12. Be mindful that there is sufficient activity in the open for the physical body to become, as it were, TIRED. Not such an exertion that there would be made too great strains, but keeping in the open would be much preferable to the environs or surroundings in the present conditions.
13. We would keep a normal diet that should be kept for a body that has the nominal, normal eliminations through the activities of the respiratory system, the alimentary canal, the regulations through the general perspiratory system - and with all these kept coordinant.
14. Thus we would find better conditions for this body of [1136].
15. Ready for questions.
16. (Q) How long should the Radio-Active Appliance be used each day? (A) Use it each day for thirty minutes to an hour, for periods of three weeks. Then rest from it for a period of a week, and then use it again for three weeks. Then after that use it WHENEVER the body is tired or desires rest. Keep the anodes, of course, very clean; and make sure that there is close contact to the extremities on opposite portions of the body. The corrective measures osteopathically would be three or four treatments in a series; then rest at least a MONTH from same before another one or two would be made.
17. We are through for the present.
