Time of Reading 3:25 to 3:45 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here - it prays.

2. Now, as we find, there are specific disturbances in the physical forces of the body. We find that these arise from specific conditions in the structural portions of the body and the effects the activities of the functioning system under these stresses produce.

3. Hence the complications that are indicated.

4. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, [1148] we are speaking of:

5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, we find indications of leakages in portions of the system wherein there are the attempts of the lymph circulation to meet the needs, and to thus produce an activity wherein coagulations through the normal activity of portions in the blood supply or in the hemoglobin are disturbing; owing to the effects that these produce that are NOT eliminated by the breaking up of those influences through the coagulation's influence or the katabolism of the system. So, we have a DROPSICAL effect through the body, especially about the waistline and the limbs.

6. IN THE NERVE FORCES OF THE BODY, here we find at times the reaction both in the sympathetic or vegetative and the cerebrospinal nervous systems. While these in part might be said to be an influence through which the system HAS become involved, they are not PRIMARILY causes. For, as indicated, through an injury that has been received in the body, there has been a SPRINGING, or a condition in the pelvic bone, especially through the lower portion of the lumbar axis.

7. Hence the nerve forces there cause a great deal of distress at times, especially in the body attempting to walk, or in its activities through the portions of the system.

8. Nervously, the kidneys and the eliminations through activities of the general eliminating system become

1148-1 Page 2

involved, as they do sympathetically; MAKING a distress through the lymph in the soft tissue of face and neck, and head.

9. Antrums then become involved through this low circulation, or slowed circulation. Thus drosses are left in portions of the system.

10. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, the sensory forces, as indicated, become involved sympathetically from pressures, or increase of flow of the circulation through these portions of the body. Yet these show for a distress by the lack of the drosses, or the eliminations, being carried on as should be; for these are left in portions of the face, head, neck and throat at times. Thus there is a fullness, it is easy for the body to contract cold; tendency for an increase of the acidity through the digestive system.

11. Naturally the increase in the heart's activity, in its attempt to carry through a very slowed circulation.

12. The digestive forces are involved sympathetically, as are the liver, the spleen, kidneys; the kidneys especially from the nerve pressures from the area indicated.

13. IN MEETING, THEN, THE NEEDS OF THE CONDITIONS OF THIS BODY:

14. We find, it will require patience, persistence on the part of the body in taking those applications that may be helpful if they are carried out in full and not left off because the body feels better; and we may eliminate the greater portions of these disturbances and the body have many USEFUL years of opportunity.

15. Then, we would first begin with a very low form or very low application of the diathermy, or the deep electrical vibration. This given not more than once a week. To be sure, the anodes when attached should be in the lacteal duct area and the 4th lumbar area.

16. Twice each week there should be those stimulations osteopathically given for the setting up of drainages to the eliminating channels; not only from the upper dorsal and cervical area but from the coccyx, the lumbar and the lower dorsal also; these about twice each week.

17. Take internally the tea as would be made from Watermelon Seed, prepared as a tea; to reduce this activity through the kidneys' affectations, and to alleviate the quantities of water that accumulate through the abdominal area. The proportions would be half an ounce of the crushed seed to a quart of water, allowed to steep for twenty to thirty minutes. This may be kept and should be taken about a glassful each day.

18. These, as we find in the present, will keep the

1148-1 Page 3

eliminations in such manners that we will bring the conditions that may ELIMINATE these disturbances from this body.

19. In the matter of the diet, beware of those vegetables that grow UNDER the ground. No fried foods at any time. Use more of the raw, fresh vegetables; and the meats would be rather lamb or fowl. Not too great a quantity of tea. Sour milk or Bulgarian milk should be used rather than raw or sweet milk. These are preferable for the body.

20. Do these for thirty to thirty-six days, and we would give further instructions.

21. Ready for questions.

22. (Q) Is the blood pressure high or low? (A) Low, and slow; at times increasing when there are those increased amounts of the pressures from the accumulations of LYMPH through the torso or trunk portion of the body.

23. (Q) Should anything be done for the cough and the mucous condition? (A) As drainages are set up, especially through the electrical vibrations in the body and the distribution begun by stimulating the ganglia along the cerebrospinal system osteopathically, we find that the CAUSES will be reached. For this is a reflex from the pressures in the lower portion of the body, that may be eliminated. Hence only the diet and the treatments given would be necessary. For with causes eliminated, the disturbance disappears.

24. (Q) Just what is the condition of the kidneys? (A) The excess of the lymph that arises by this strain in the pelvic area, in the 4th lumbar axis or its joining to the pelvic bone, makes for a tendency for EXCESSES of secretions in the system hard to be eliminated through their normal channels - the kidneys. Hence the excess of the accumulations produces that strain upon the system and especially upon the kidneys and the bladder. The excess of acidity makes for this peculiar BURNING sensation at the periods of eliminations from the kidneys and the bladder. Hence those heavinesses in the lower portion of the abdomen and across the lower portion of the back are not ALL from the kidney disturbance, though with these pressures it gives that inclination or feeling.

25. (Q) What should be done for the sinus trouble? (A) An inhalation will clarify those conditions, for - as indicated - they are merely reflex. But to apply locally the properties that will act as antiseptics and still make

for the better conditions, we would combine these: To 4 ounces of pure grain alcohol in a 6 ounce container (glass corked), add - in the order named: Oil of Eucalyptus...............20 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp............5 minims, Compound Tincture Benzoin.......10 minims, Canadian Balsam..................5 minims, Tolu in solution................40 minims. Shake together only when the fumes are to be inhaled in the nostril; not taken, just the fumes inhaled from same. This will clarify, act as an antiseptic and relieve the pressure by the activities of the fumes of these ingredients upon the mucous membranes of the face, the nasal passages and the throat. Do this two or three times a day, or if the cough makes for an irritation this inhaled into the throat will clarify only as an antiseptic - and yet each ingredient carries its healing and its active influence upon the membranes or tissue involved there. Removing the trouble that causes same, though, these disturbances - too - will disappear. Do these as we have indicated for the periods outlined, and then we would give further instructions.
