Time of Reading 3:35 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1148], this we have had before.

2. As we find, there are improvements in the general physical forces of the body.

3. There is much to be desired in the corrections of those conditions that disturb the body, yet their activities through the applications of those things which have been suggested (and most of these have been in very good order) we find are showing definite improvements.

4. We find that some changes would be necessary.

5. While those conditions in the general changes (the menopause) that come from the periods of activities have much to do, they become as may be said a contributory cause. And there are those conditions where there is the lack of the activity or the functioning of the kidneys - disturbance with same, yet this is rather an inactivity. And unless there were a great deal of temperature or a greater change, there would not be the necessity of any operative measures in these directions. For there are indications through the manner in which there has been the activity of the kidneys, and by an analysis of the urine, that there is pus; yet these have not as we find shown any disturbance yet in other than what might be said to be the tubes of same and not in the capsule or in the body of the kidney itself. However, the lack of the coordination between the kidneys and the upper hepatic circulation produces a great deal of the trouble, in the form of pressures in the circulation, in those conditions that make for the weariness, the inability of the activities of the body upon the feet without disturbances.

6. But we would continue the manipulative forces in the manner as has been indicated, and has thus far been carried very well. Do not add other forces in the manipulations than has been given.

7. At times we would use across the small of the back a heat

from equal portions of the Mutton Suet, Turpentine, Spirits of Camphor and Compound Tincture of Benzoin. Heat the Mutton Suet or Mutton Tallow to add the other properties. A flannel dipped into this solution and laid over the body, across the area, and then an electric pad at low heat used, would make for an absorption of sufficient to be of a great deal of help. And with the stimulations of the manipulative forces be helpful to the system.

8. Also for keeping the nerve reactions through the system in a very good order, we find that a compound prepared in this way and manner would be helpful:

9. To 1 ounce of Honey add 1 ounce of Distilled Water and let come almost to a boil. Skim. Then, while warm but not hot, add same to 1 ounce of Elixir of Lactated Pepsin. This would be as a carrier, you see. Then, to this solution, add - in the order named: Tincture of Valerian...............1/2 ounce, Elixir of Calisaya.................1/2 ounce, 10% solution Iodide of Potassium....40 minims, 10% solution Bromide of Potassium...20 minims, Tincture of Capsici..................5 minims. This would be taken only when there is dizziness, heaviness through the lower portion of the body, or pain. Do not take closer together than two hours; a teaspoonful being the dose. This will be found to be helpful in easing the pains that at times occur from, and especially at, those periods when there are the reactions from the menopause changes in the system.

10. Also we find it would be most helpful to use the Wet Cell Appliance, the low electrical vibration. Not that which is other than the galvanic; not those of the high electrical vibrations now for the body at all, you see. Only those of the low galvanic, and these we would have to carry into the system on alternate days the properties - or vibrations - of Spirits of Camphor and Atomidine. The attachments would be made as follows:

11. One day (when the Camphor is used) the small plate would be attached first, at the 4th LUMBAR plexus. The larger plate, through which the Spirits of Camphor Solution would pass, would be attached last - to the umbilicus and lacteal duct or gall duct area, over that portion, you see. This would be given for only thirty minutes.

12. The next day (when the Atomidine is used), the small plate would be attached first, to the 3rd dorsal plexus or the lower portion of the secondary cardiac. And the larger

plate, through which the commercial strength of Atomidine solution would pass, would be attached last - upon the umbilicus plexus, the same as the day before. Alternate the applications in this manner.

13. Have these from or flowing through different anodes, and not the solution passing through the wire or the lead fuse that has been in the other solution. The Atomidine application would also be for thirty minutes.

14. Keep the plates very clean and polished.

15. Keep the diets and the activities as have been indicated.

16. Ready for questions.

17. The Wet Cell Appliance applications would be for periods of three weeks, a rest period of one week, then a period of three weeks again; then a rest period of a week, and then again. And by that period we should give further instructions.

18. (Q) The electrical vibrations that have been used should be discontinued? (A) Discontinue these.

19. (Q) The swelling conditions in the body continue and at times grow worse. What is the reason? (A) The inflammation has been aroused, and accumulations are produced from the lymph. That's why we would apply the hot packs as well as discontinue the electrical vibrations; but continue the manipulations and a changed vibration of electrical forces for reduction of this. And we find that it is necessary to stimulate the inflammatory condition that there may be the reduction through absorption, without operation if possible.

20. (Q) Are the osteopathic manipulations being given properly? (A) As indicated, do these as HAS been outlined - AS given; do not add more!

21. (Q) Should any changes be made? (A) Do as HAS been outlined. Do not do more, do not do less!

22. (Q) Why does the swelling increase so much at menstruation? (A) The natural inclinations for the lymph circulatory forces to become more engorged at such periods. Keep the eliminations through the alimentary canal. Follow those suggestions as indicated for the period as outlined.
