Time of Reading 11:40 to 12:25 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City.

1. HLC: You will have before you the entity, [1151], present in this room, who desires enlightenment on his purposes and affairs that will contribute to his highest good and usefulness in this sojourn. You will answer the questions he submits, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1151]; this we have had before.

3. In giving that as may be helpful and constructive in the experience of this entity in the present, again we would refer the entity to those activities, those principles which were shown or manifested through those experiences when such turmoils were in the land - and as to how, and as toward what, the entity gave his strength and purpose - and that these same principles and tenets be a part of the experience in the present.

4. While, to be sure, they may appear to be under different circumstances, different environs, know that they - as then - are principles that change not.

5. Ready for questions.

6. (Q) Has the Savings Bank Journal been fulfilling its purpose in its publications since January of the present year? (A) In some quarters it is considered as being that needed; in others, in the minds of some there has arisen questions as to the policies, as to the purposes and intent of same - in the present. As we find, so long as those tenets and principles of the united effort are stressed, and the needs of the whole cooperation of all phases of Capital to be directed into those channels for the common good of all, it will, it does fulfill its purpose.

7. (Q) What is the cause for the continued resistance of certain savings bankers to my activities? Does this indicate that I should definitely end my association with them?

1151-24 Page 2

(A) As just indicated, there is the fear on the part of some that the policy is leaning towards too much of the power being invested in the depositors, or the owners actual of such Capital. As we find, to withdraw at this stage of same would not be wholly in keeping with the ideals and purposes that are prompting the entity's activities. Yet, if this becomes untenable to the entity, then it may necessitate withdrawal. But we would not do so in the immediate future.

8. (Q) Would it be financially profitable, and is it timely to enlarge the scope of the Savings Bank Journal to represent and stimulate true private enterprise in America, and to change its name to Enterprise and Savings Journal? (A) This as we find, as has been indicated from the foregoing, should be approached a little slowly, but there are the needs of, and the tendency for the approach to such. And when the time HAS arrived - when as we find will be when there is the closer approach to the general changes that are to come about in the financial structure, in a manner, of America. For with the general conditions of an international nature, and the conditions that are arising as will need the greater stabilization of currencies, and the changes that are being wrought by the overburdening of the peoples in the present - in a manner - such will be the direction that the endeavors would take. This as we find should come about in the early summer of the coming year, or by or before the policies of the candidates will be proclaimed. For these, to be sure, must be questions that will be not the outward talk but the BASIC conditions of Capital as related to the individual or personal finance, and as to the Government - and must be a part of the issues in the coming changes in the Government.

9. (Q) Would the formation of a new corporation, Enterprise Productions, Incorporated, be advisable and financially practicable, which would permit of vital messages to be presented to the American people, either through publications, or productions on radio, stage and screen? (A) This as we find is plausible, feasible, and that which is much needed.

1151-24 Page 3

For, as has ever been, and as indicated from the first premise of that given here, all phases of man's relationship to his fellow man, and those as represented in material, mental or spiritual capital, should be made a matter of education or knowledge to the general public. And as this is more consistently and persistently done, in all phases of man's relationship, there will be the greater cooperation, - whether it be in the banking, in the lawyer, the doctor, the merchant, or the Government, or as related to Capital or Labor; for all of these in their basic principles are one. COOPERATION is that EVER needed, and to be stressed - with the basic principles of that which is the intent and purpose of THIS entity.

10. (Q) Could such a corporation later take over the Savings Bank Journal and operate it as one of its distinctive activities? (A) It may.

11. (Q) Would a play, revealing the evils of Power Politics in the world today, and dramatizing a ringing appeal for Peace by inspiring the people to action in a spiritual direction, find responsive audiences and be financially successful? (A) This as we find, presented properly, would be appealing, and an education, and financially successful.

12. (Q) Where and how should I concentrate my attention, abilities and business resources in order to establish myself financially independent? (A) In those channels in which there is the carrying forward in all directions of the tenets and the ABILITIES of the entity in the capacity of acting as the guiding light or force in such directions. It may appear, in this manner, as being general; but are not the abilities of the entity in a general manner needed in the affairs of many? As indicated by that which has been given heretofore, as well as the activities during that period which is being so well recalled in many ways, finding expression in the economic, the political and the spiritual life of groups and individuals - this entity is one that is capable of serving in MANY directions. Then, for this entity to separate or segregate self would be to lose some opportunities that will be presented, and that are the purposes of the entity through this experience.

13. (Q) How would you describe these tenets and principles? (A) As has been given - the united or cooperative effort

1151-24 Page 4

of ALL in the fields of activity as indicated - covering not only the economic situation but the political endeavors and policies, and the financial and spiritual as well.

14. (Q) How soon can my financial independence be achieved? (A) This should depend more upon the direction in which the efforts and activities are given, as indicated; and the independence and the financial security being the result OF that effort. Then, to say as to a time or a place would indicate that this had already been achieved - but it is rather a working principle, and it may arrive at ANY moment!

15. (Q) Is [1724] in his right position as an associate of mine? (A) As was indicated in the beginning respecting these, here are opportunities and abilities on the part of each; and they are to be made more cooperative, and seeing as eye to eye, rather than the little differences which have been and are gradually worming themselves, as it were, into this association. Each will be good for the other, if this cooperation will be maintained.

16. (Q) When is it timely and right to finance my projected efforts? (A) In the early spring of this coming year, especially through February, March and April.

17. (Q) What significance is there to [1848] requesting a return of the [1724] contract to write his biography? (A) A mistrust of the ability of of the entity [1724] to accomplish same in the manner as was first felt. This as we find, however, will be worked out properly when there is a better and closer cooperation between [1151] and [1724].

18. (Q) Does this mean that [1724] is to cease his association with me on behalf of [1848]? (A) Not necessarily; though there can be activities on the part of [1724], as indicated, that would necessitate such separation.

19. (Q) Am I following my best spiritual good, and the good of the country, in my activities and associations on behalf of [1848] for the presidency of the United States? Please advise fully. (A) As we find, and as indicated before - in that entity, [1848], is the policy of there being a united effort for the country in all of its phases, in all of its undertakings and its problems, its faults as well as its virtues - more than there may be in any other individual that has, or as we find may be offered AS one to fill that office. Then, to this source, the entity's activities in pushing

1151-24 Page 5

forward such are certainly in keeping with that which is to the best interest of the country, as well as the peoples of the country. Here are the problems, as we see them: With every other one who has been mentioned, or as we find who may be mentioned, there are too many axes to grind - by groups as well as sections of the country, as well as problems that are more of an international interest. Yet with the abilities of [1848] there is a basis for a UNITING of these divisions, that is not found in any of the others - not even excepting the present incumbent of that office.

20. (Q) Is there a close understanding and confidence established between [1848] and myself? (A) As we find, this is an understanding that, of course, needs growth or cultivation, but it is upon the right basis. None of the other individuals who have been suggested for the office have as near the ideals and purposes of the entity [1151]; and unless there ARE the efforts, and unless there is such an one with those principles as we find are present in the intent and purpose of [1848], a sad experience will be for this land through forty-two and three ('42 and '43)!

21. (Q) Is it wise and imperative at this time for me to reduce substantially my general expenses in the light of present and future trends, or will my income be adequate to provide all of my and my family's requirements, and an overflow with which to bless the world? (A) This might be answered in just that as we have indicated time and again. Remember - Whose IS the silver and the gold? And so long as the efforts of the entity towards his fellow man, towards his country, towards his God, towards his own self and family, are in keeping with that which IS the purpose of the entity, there will be abundance - and an overflow for the opportunities of aiding, helping here and there where the mind and heart indicates. Keep that whole trust in Him; of course, not in any excess of extravagance in any phase or direction - but there will be sufficient for the needs of all.

22. (Q) Is the project of Enterprise Productions, Incorporated, the source through which I can acquire an adequate financial supply, or should I look to other sources?

1151-24 Page 6

(A) It is one of those, and as other problems - Remember, as has been indicated in the above, few individuals there be that may manifest in more than one capacity at the same time; but this entity may manifest or exercise the abilities in more than one direction, from which there may come returns in the financial manner for the aid or good accomplished. Yet the GREATER source, the greater channel, as we find, may be in Enterprises, Incorporated.

23. (Q) Is this the quickest way in which I can achieve independence? (A) One of the quickest ways.

24. (Q) When is it most timely for me to entertain the Cayces at ... as an aid in the furtherance of their work? (A) This must necessarily depend upon the circumstances that may arise in the affairs of each concerned. As we find, after the first of the year would be the most plausible period.

25. (Q) Have you any suggestions regarding the program for us in that respect? (A) This must be worked out in a systematic way and manner, but should include first the general announcements of such, for such a given period or time; and then those individuals may be designated as those to give word to their own associates or groups, or those who have questioned respecting same.

26. (Q) Will it be necessary to rent or sell my home in ...? (A) Not a necessity; though there may arise periods when this may appear to be the most plausible. But if the activities or the policies and the faith are worked coordinantly, no need for same.

27. (Q) May there be given the entity at this time such information regarding national and international affairs that will be of help to him in directing and coordinating his activities? (A) As we find, there has been given sufficient here as may be paralleled by the general trend of conditions existent, for the conclusions to be drawn in the mind and the experience of the entity, as well as to how - and the manner - to placate those efforts indicated that would attempt to tie groups or individuals in such a manner as to prevent their cooperation in making the nomination of, the election of that entity upon which there may be based a united field of activity; and one whose policies and whose associates would be such as to INSURE not only the safety of the land, but that the direction taken is indeed with that ideal which is so flaunted and yet not comprehended - "In God We Trust."

1151-24 Page 7

28. (Q) Will [1848] secure the support of President Roosevelt for him to be the next President of the United States? (A) As we find, it will only be of a partial nature; for there will be the attempt upon the part of or by the present incumbent to be coordinant, yet NOT to give personal support to one individual.
