Time of Reading 11:40 to 12:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. New York City. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1152].

2. Now as we find, there are disturbing conditions that prevent the better or normal reactions in the physical forces of the body.

3. These as we find have to do with the eliminations AND the effect that has been produced upon organic functioning in relationships to same.

4. Before giving the conditions in some detail, or the suggestions for the help and relief of the conditions, these counsels we would give for the body - owing to the mental and spiritual development as well as the studies that are a part of the mental and, consequently, physical attitude of the body.

5. It is not the purpose to speak disparagingly about any expressions of the mental attitude. For it is true that the body mentally, the body physically, should be and is capable of resuscitating and revitalizing itself, if it is raised in spiritual direction for the activities of disturbing conditions in the body.

6. Hence mind over matter is not to be lightly spoken of, nor is there any disparaging remark to be made as to the body-physical being revivified, resuscitated, spiritualized such that there is no reaction that may not be revivified.

7. Yet these conditions exist: We do not find in nature the same elements in quinine as in those other elements that produce the heart stimuli. We do not find in the blood root the same stimuli for digestion and for elimination as we find in other elements that are a portion of creation for man's sustenance.

8. For are those activities for the meeting of man's needs created by man?

9. No. They are rather the gift of the Creator to man to meet in the emergencies of his own experience that entanglement of flesh and matter IN spirit association!

1152-5 Page 2

10. Did thy Lord bleed when the nails were driven in His hands and feet? Did He give up the ghost? Did He die?

11. Yes. For as He gave, without His death - yea, without His resurrection - there is no hope in man's estate.

12. It is true also, as He gave, that they who are whole need not a physician; neither would they who are not whole have allowed their house to be broken up if they had been aware. But it is indeed necessary, as He gave, that offences in the flesh be the portion of man's estate.

13. Then in the application - this is what is being attempted to be said:

14. Then any application of any influence in man's estate or condition that is found within the physical, the mental or the spiritual body, that arouses the nature of whatever phase of man's bodily force or man's consciousness to the AWARENESS of the God-Consciousness to make it a whole, is just as divine as when He said, "Go, wash in the pool; then show thyself to the priest."

15. What healed the man? Obedience! To what? The command of his Lord! That the water of the pool carried healing, yes - by the very divine word of its Master. For He created both the man AND the water to supply that in man's estate, that he lose not sight of the benefits, the grace, the mercy, a loving Father would show unto him.

16. "Show thyself to the priest" was as much a command; for it, to show thyself to the priest, was the law. Law of God, or law of man? Both! As man in the material plane administers same, THEN he becomes the law of truth.

17. These are mentioned not as an attempt to do other than give this entity, this soul - so far advanced in the vision of that as may be the activity of every soul if it will but put on the whole armor of God - a better understanding.

18. To man hath He given the ministry of those influences within the material world, where ministry may be made to the needs temporal, the needs mental, the needs spiritual. The ministerations MUST answer, to be sure, to the divine within; else they cannot, they do not quicken. For God alone quickens into life that which has through any form of error misdirected its flow through even the physical body.

19. Man may minister, man may direct - only the Father, God, CAN give, DOES give, the increase - the quickening. For it is true indeed, "My Spirit," saith the Father, "beareth witness with thy spirit that ye ARE the children of the LIVING Father."

20. In the activities then of this body, we find there are hindrances in the eliminations of the body, through these poison accumulations that produce pressures upon the system;

1152-5 Page 3

arising at times in the locomotories, in the muscular forces of the body, in the extremities - hands and feet; yea, as has been given, in the assimilation of functionings of the organs themselves - distresses, by these very variations or accumulations.

21. So, as we find, there has been and is in the present not a great deal of coordination between the eliminating systems of the body.

22. Thus we find at times the respiratory system becomes full, by the very exercises or emergencies of the system; until there is a heaviness about the lower portion of the respiratory system - and a quickening of the pulsation, by the activities to meet same.

23. Again we find as through the digestive forces the lack of the coordination of the alimentary canal with the perspiratory or the superficial circulation.

24. And these clog the system, and these have brought then EXCESSES of refuse forces. Not merely through the alimentary canal, but by re-absorption in the system through the very activities of the body.

25. Thus we find that the kidneys and the liver become involved with the respiratory system. Not that of a disturbing force other than that produced upon the circulation between the lungs - that purify the air; the liver (purifying the blood), as combined with the activity of the lower hepatics or kidneys. But these all become as pressures to the system itself.

26. Now: There are along the cerebrospinal system, or the deeper circulation, areas from which the organs of the system receive impulses from both the imaginative - the imaginative or sympathetic nerve system - and the cerebrospinal system.

27. With these accumulations there becomes - along the segments from which the ganglia of the sympathetic or vegetative nerve system receive impulses - a clogging up or choking, or the lack of the proper flow.

28. Now these stimulated to activity by influences from without, as well as from within, will bring to THIS body, as we find, abilities in the physical reactions such that with the mental attitudes it may bring to itself the coordination between the creative forces and the bodily functions themselves; bringing cooperative, coordinating activity.

29. Thus we may bring a much nearer normal condition to the body.

30. Such stimulation as we find may be administered first by the Cabinet Sweats with the Fumes in same; given very GENTLY and very, very lightly in the beginning. These must be

1152-5 Page 4

watched closely, that there is not too great a stress put upon the heart's activity.

31. Also the eliminations from accumulations in colon must be carried out.

32. Hence these would be through Hydrotherapy applications and measures.

33. Such applications, with the massage and the sweats, should be taken at least once or twice a week in the beginning; but the sweats or fumes should be of a very short period - and with very careful watching. But as the treatments progress, these may be lengthened as to period, or duration of activity, and as to the frequency of same - to once a week or once in ten days or two weeks.

34. In the Fumes we would use preferably the Oil of Pine, or change occasionally to the Oil of Wintergreen, then again to Atomidine, or Tincture of Iodine. Not great quantities; a teaspoonful or less to a pint of water - for the Fumes - for this body.

35. The length of time in the Bath in the beginning would depend, as indicated, upon the changes as wrought in the pulsation and the activities of the respiratory system.

36. Such applications may be obtained from any sympathetic Hydrotherapist, such as Reilly or Berg.

37. As to the diet: Consider itself those things, those understandings attained as to such. Keep away from great quantities of starches, or of COMBINATIONS that produce excess acidity.

38. And with the CONCERTED use of the Radio-Active Appliance, as we have indicated for the body, we should - doing all of these - bring more NORMAL reactions.

39. Use the Radio-Active Appliance (cleansed and pure) for periods of at least two to three weeks, each day. Let it rest the body. Use it for thirty to forty minutes each day, and use such periods as the periods of meditation - when the body AND the mind, and the spirit are coordinated by the very influences OF the vibratory forces of the body, set up with the Appliance.

40. And we will find these will bring for this body much nearer to normal influences.

41. Ready for questions.

42. (Q) What causes and what may be done for pains in head? (A) These are pressures upon the nervous system by the accumulations of poisons in the body. These pains are as warnings to the effect being created by the deeper circulation.

43. (Q) For the numbness? (A) This is another reflex condition of the same nature as

1152-5 Page 5

just indicated. But of the numbness, be mindful that this is not allowed to grow; else we may soon find the deeper circulation - because it does not coordinate with the superficial - leaking; and this would be VERY detrimental. For it would naturally produce in some portion of the system the lack of the ability for activity.

44. (Q) Bad memory? (A) All of these effects arise from the pressures in portions of the system.

45. (Q) What causes gurgling around the area of the water tumor in pelvis? (A) This is the system gradually absorbing or making for the lymph flow through same.

46. (Q) What other conditions exist that cause the intense pain in the area? (A) Pressures from the colon as well as the incoordination between the superficial and deeper circulation.

47. (Q) Need I be disturbed about my financial condition, which has so reduced my income? (A) As we find, there has been set in motion those considerations and activities such that there need not be cause for great anxiety to the body in this direction.

48. (Q) How will I be able to meet my obligations? (A) These should come from the activities of the body, supplanted by the income from those changes that are being wrought in those directions.

49. (Q) Any advice concerning the continuing of the book of my life? (A) Just keep in mind that this, as has been indicated for the body, may be a very helpful influence in the experiences of others. In the descriptions, grow more and more selfless; that there may be the giving out of that which has been and is the quickening influence in the lives of all.

50. (Q) If I finish it, will it help get my other books published? (A) It SHOULD; very definitely! Keep on those ways of thought and purpose, as sustained thee close to that thou hast experienced in thy inmost self - and those periods when ye walked close with the Light of this world!
