1. GC: You will have before you the body and enquiring mind of [1152], present in this room. Considering the information which she has been given, and her plans for a new home in Virginia Beach, you will give her guidance and advice in making decisions which will benefit all those concerned; answering the questions that may be asked:
2. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [1152], present in this room.
3. In considering advice or counsel as regarding the entity's establishing of a home in Virginia Beach, - reasons, purposes, those things as would tend to make for such being a helpful influence in the experience would be well to consider.
4. As has been indicated in information given from many sources, this might be termed the safe place.
5. Then, as has been indicated, the environs - when the entity is once established - would be contributory measures to the completing of much of the work in writing that has been begun.
6. Then it would be the center also, or the channels, associations and connections, through and in which the entity may carry on those activities of making known through groups, clubs and the like, the needs for those activities in which there may be the arousing of the consciousness of the populace, or the peoples. This offers an opportunity.
7. WHY - ye may ask - Virginia Beach?
8. As has been indicted, this is an association or connection for the entity in which there are not those terms of being tied in any group activity that would make for hindering the body in its expression, its study or its activity. And the climatic conditions offer a healthful influence also for the entity.
9. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) For what reason am I being directed to make my home
1152-12 Page 2
at Va. Beach? (A) That there may be the completing of those books, those pamphlets, those writings that may find their way into print, that will MAKE same helpful influences to others; WHERE the entity may carry on in those activities that will enable the entity to give to groups in a manner that will be helpful and beneficial. Then, as just indicated, the health of the entity itself will be bettered.
11. (Q) Shall I continue my autobiography? (A) Should continue the autobiography.
12. (Q) Considering my desire to have a home imbued with the life of the Master so as to give happiness to all who enter it, my desire to carry on the work suggested for me in my Reading, you will comment on each of the following plans and advise which is the best: a. Discussions that have been held with Gladys Davis relative to constructing a duplex apartment on grounds adjacent to the Ass'n offices. b. The possibility of constructing a small suite over a portion of the new offices of the Ass'n. c. Would you suggest any more suitable plan, or another location; the expense and upkeep being considered? (A) In considering the varied plans or suggestions offered here, many things are to be taken into consideration. The first indicated would make for involvements that MIGHT become burdensome, while the securing of the properties is well - and WE would give that this SHOULD be beautified; not only as an outlook but as making same more valuable when there IS the possibility of building. As we find, there CAN be such plans and constructions as to make a DESIRABLE location with an apartment over the Association building. This as we find offers the most feasible plan, and in keeping with those things that would be found to be helpful to all.
13. (Q) Will this in any way prevent the pleasures of the home of the Cayce's? (A) Not unless there are other conditions arising that are not apparent in the present. These should eventually become beneficial, rather than detrimental.
14. (Q) What about interfering with their present lovely view and breeze? (A) These will naturally be a part of the price for the
1152-12 Page 3
associations, but these should not be hindrances.
15. (Q) Just what will be the nature of my work in my new home? (A) That as indicated in the suggestions as to what the body should do in its activities in the present; and it SHOULD be present in the erection of the quarters for the body!
16. (Q) Is it to spread the message of reincarnation as interpreted through the Life Readings? (A) That is merely a part. Remember, the real purpose as should be for each soul is the message of the love of the Savior, Jesus the Christ, for the children of men. That phase of Christian experience (reincarnation) is questioned by many, yet there is this period when the fact needs stressing to answer many questions. But that this is to be the primary fact - reincarnation, no. THAT is merely the plan as He demonstrated.
17. (Q) What should be the nature of my work in spreading more information on the Master's life? (A) That which has been and is the NATURAL consequence of the travels, the convictions, the purposes as determined within self.
18. (Q) Shall I continue with my books? (A) As indicated, this is a part of the PURPOSE. Thus they may be completed, and given in such measures as to become helpful to others.
19. (Q) Shall this new home be a great inspiration to all who enter it? (A) THIS is that which is to be made by the entity. For, have ye not read as to how they that builded did build with a purpose? and as to how that purpose was to the service of the living God? Know, as He has given, "My word, my purpose, returns not emptyhanded."
20. (Q) Please outline my itinerary to various parts of the country. (A) There are various groups with which the entity will come in contact by the associations, or by dwelling in the environs, that are of the group with which the entity has recently been associated. These need strengthening, in their might and power. There are other groups in various portions of the country. ALL of these may be strengthened by the efforts of the entity in the approach to them.
21. (Q) Will Oria Allen, my co-worker, come here to live? (A) We haven't Oria Allen here.
22. (Q) Any other advice about the apartment, or suggestions, or regarding the grounds next door? (A) These should be that of a GRADUAL development.
1152-12 Page 4
Plan the layout for a home. Then beautify those portions of grounds not used or not cultivated, and these will become more and more as a pleasure to those that are interested in same.
23. (Q) Can we control the rest of the property on this point for the Association? (A) If such is PLANNED, and there ARE those preparations made for same, in a year or such a matter it CAN be carried through.
24. (Q) What preparations, for instance? (A) Interesting those who would be interested in establishing a center where members might meet as active workers in the Association; as a clubhouse, as an Association visiting house, as an Association meeting place; as one that might be used by any kindred organization for active work.
