Time of Reading 4:10 to 4:40 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1158].

2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing influences in the physical forces of the body. While these conditions in the present do not present such a localization, save at periods when distresses arise, these suggestions then would be rather as preventative measures for conditions that are in the present tendencies. And these tendencies, as we find, have been and are produced by the lack of functionings of glands; thus disturbing the equilibrium through the katabolism (or through the circulation) - with the effects that these have had and do have upon the system.

3. These, then, are the conditions as we find them with this body, Mrs. [1158] we are speaking of, present in this room:

4. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, there are the indications of a tendency for the lack of proper equalization between the sympathetic or the superficial circulation AND the deeper circulation. Hence a tendency towards the lessening of the red blood cellular force. Not as yet that of a decided anemia but a tendency. Hence we find at times, when the body should have felt rested from the activities, either by sleep or by exercise or activities outwardly, there is the recurrence of a tiredness throughout the whole of the system itself. And a tendency for aching or heaviness through the torso or lower portions of the body. At others this will be through or between the shoulders; dull characters of headaches, burning as of the throat or the eyes at times; dryness.

5. These are the effects produced in the circulatory forces through the lack of the proper lymph circulation, and the incoordination between the deeper circulation and the superficial.

6. THE NERVE FORCES OF THE BODY, these suffer under these conditions, yet are not the causes. However, these become

1158-1 Page 2

rather impoverished from the lack of glandular secretion.

7. As we find, these conditions arose from periods when there were great strains upon the body mentally, and a physical drain upon the body; there being some temperature, the ducts and the glands that form the center of what we term the lacteal duct or center, or the nerve plexus just below the gall duct, became affected.

8. Hence we find in this strain that exists, and that tendency for this to not function WITH the glands, these become impoverished.

9. The liver, too, ceases to do at all times its proper functioning; hence this heaviness felt across the left side is the ATTEMPT of the spleen with the activities and functionings of the liver and pancreas to perform their functionings with the body.

10. IN THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, brain forces are very good.

11. Throat, bronchi, lungs, larynx suffer under the strains of these, and at times there tends to be the tendency for the lacking in the eliminations through the lungs, the larynx and the bronchials; and these produce an acid of a nature that makes for a slowing of eliminations through the alimentary canal.

12. While the digestive forces are very good in the main, yet with these disturbances we find there are periods when there is felt a fullness after eating, and the tendency for the formations of an acidity that produces a heaviness throughout the periods of digestion - and becomes slow in passing from the stomach and through the duodenum.

13. In the activity of the heart, the liver and their COORDINATION with the hepatic circulation, owing to these disturbing factors, these become slow at times. At others we will find oft the hepatic circulation is much faster than it should be with the coordinating forces between the liver and the heart.

14. Hence we will have a low pressure in the activities to the system.

15. Hence we find lack of elements as will aid in creating a balance in bodily functions.

16. In the functioning of the organs through the pelvis, the activities with the kidneys and the eliminations: These through nerve reflexes at times make for a burning sensation in bladder, and yet these are only reflex. For with the corrections these should clear themselves.

17. IN MEETING, THEN, THE CONDITIONS AS WE FIND FOR THIS BODY:

18. First, we would have periods of once a week for two or three weeks when we would apply the Castor Oil Packs over

1158-1 Page 3

the liver AND the caecum area. These for an hour at a time, but keep them on for at least two or three hours; that is, changing the Pack about twice or three times during that period - on the day when these are taken.

19. Also we find that the iodine in that preparation called Atomidine, or the atomic iodine, would be the better for the body. However, we would take it in very small quantities, for a period of five days and then rest five days; one minim (drop) before the morning meal, in half a glass of water; one minim (drop) before retiring at night, in half a glass of water. Do not increase the dose unless there become other disturbing forces in the system, which there should not - if the Packs are taken.

20. On the evening after the Packs have been taken (that is, the Packs would be taken in the afternoon, you see; then that night, before retiring) we would take TWO Zilatone tablets, with PLENTY of water. Two glasses of water, at least. This will make for an activity through the liver, the pancreas, the spleen, and the eliminations through the alimentary canal. As these make for then a strain upon the system - that is, produce some irritation - these may at SOME PERIODS cause nausea; but these are the necessary influences for the activities necessary to correct these conditions. For they will drain the gall duct area, making for a coordination of those influences from the system that should work through the system.

21. Also, after the periods of the Castor Oil Packs have been completed, we would begin with Ventriculin WITH iron. Do not take a WHOLE dose of these properties in the beginning. Take about three times a week in the first month; then these may be taken a little oftener.

22. But these done, with a gentle massage taken two or three times during those periods that the packs are taken, we will cleanse the lacteals and cleanse the activative forces between the superficial and the deeper circulation.

23. In the matter of the diet, we would be rather warned respecting too great a quantity of proteins as combined with starches at the same meals, you see. Rather this would be as an outline, though these would not be all that may be taken, of course:

24. Mornings - whole wheat as a cereal is well; this two or three times a week. Do not take cereals AND fruit juices at the same meal!

25. Let one meal each day be WHOLLY of fresh RAW vegetables! These may be had with any character of dressing to make same more palatable, but have ONE meal each day of these - whether in the noon or in the evening. For these will not

1158-1 Page 4

only furnish the activities for the stimulations to the glands, by the activative forces of the iodine in the system, but will aid also with the enzymes from Ventriculin that form for resistances and aid in building up the assimilations through the action of the katabolism of the circulatory forces.

26. Meat should be preferably fowl, fish, lamb, rather than beef or other meats. Wild fowl are, of course, the better.

27. Do these and we will find in sixty to ninety to a hundred and twenty days the body will be entirely changed, and the resistance so that the outlook upon the activities in the mental and physical body, for this body [1158] will be near to normal.

28. Ready for questions.

29. (Q) Should I take milk at the meal when I am taking raw vegetables? (A) Milk may be taken; preferably not raw milk. That is, rather milk that has been prepared, or milk that has been heated sufficiently for the curdling of certain food forces - the caseins that are hard upon the system.

30. (Q) Is it advisable for me to take capsules of liver extract? (A) The Ventriculin is much preferable to the liver extract; though the liver extract - especially Valentine's - is very well to be taken. But for this body, and through these conditions, the Ventriculin would be the better.

31. (Q) Should I take Dermetic's Vegetable Tablets? (A) Not necessary with one meal of raw fresh vegetables. For, although compounds are well, these in their natural state are better. Lettuce, celery, onions, tomatoes, peppers, carrots, spinach, mustard - ANY of these are much preferable GREEN, fresh, than prepared in a preservative of any kind.

32. (Q) What about fresh vegetable juices? (A) These are all very good. Be well that the cooked vegetables that may be prepared as a portion of the meals be cooked in their OWN juices, and such juices taken as a stimulant or as a tonic would be very good. But with the other tonics, these should become the natural conditions - in the outline for diets.

33. (Q) How long should this outline of treatments be continued? (A) Ninety to a hundred and twenty days. Of course, not all of these are to be taken at once. For, as indicated, three to four weeks of the Oil Packs once a week should be sufficient.

1158-1 Page 5

The Atomidine would be five days at a time, with a five-day rest period and then repeat. Let this continue throughout the period until the body feels efficient and corrected sufficient to not need these properties. Then if the conditions arise again, it may be taken again, see? Do these things and, as we find, we will correct these disturbances; preventing further inroads upon the vitality of the system, equalizing circulation, revivifying the activities and producing resistances for the body. Keep the mental and the spiritual forces active with the applications; not carried as rote. Know within self something is being accomplished through the applications. We are through for the present.
