Time of Reading 11:40 to 12:20 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Entity, [1158], present in this room, nee [...], born February 25, 1890, in Akron, Ohio, who now seeks information, advice and guidance in a Check Life Reading, as to her past associations in the earth with certain individuals who are close to her now - and as to just what the present relationships should be. You will answer the questions she submits regarding these, as I ask them.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the entity now called [1158] and the information that has been given respecting the entity's association and activities in the earth.

2. As has been indicated, one stands out so beyond the others - not only because of the experiences and activities of the entity in that period, but because of the associations of the soul-entity in relationships to individuals who had so much to do with the opportunities of that sojourn - as they do in the present.

3. Hence we will find many of these making for that which will offer, does offer, the opportunities for not only the development in the lives and experiences of others but opportunities for that awareness so long sought within the experience of self.

4. For the moment, review some of those activities as already intimated in the experience of this entity, as the daughter of Joseph and Mary, in the Palestine land; when there were those turmoils and confusions as to what ye would term in the present the orthodox faith or view of the relationships of individuals; as well as those activities with a new regime, a new idea, a new approach to the very influences that have changed and will ever change the course of human thought and experience among the children of men; the lessons, the tenets, the teachings, yea the very life of Jesus, the Brother, the Entity.

5. And those activities of the companion of this entity in the experience, when - through the very associations - the

1158-10 Page 2

entity gained those NEW awakenings of not only the spiritual and mental thought of the period but as to its dealings with individuals.

6. For as He taught, it becomes in the experience of the entity in the present, "As ye do it unto the least of these, my children, my brethren, ye do it unto me."

7. And, "As ye would that others should do to you, do ye even so to them."

8. These become, in the experience then, more and more as living truths; so that as the course of their application runs in the dealings with others, in the actual experiences, there is seen the arousing of those things which He and His loved ones presented as the fruits of the Spirit. For they bring hope where none has been, they bring cheer where confusion has existed, they bring the longings for peace where turmoil or misunderstanding has existed; and the result becomes more and more as the entity heard, not only from the Mother, from the friends, but from the companion also, "Peace - I leave with you"; not as the world giveth peace, but the peace that makes the heart glad, that brings the renewing of hope, that brings the understanding of joy unabated in the lives and the hearts of all that WILL come and take of the water of life freely. For the spirit and the bride say "Come and whosoever WILL, let him take the water of life freely."

9. Ready for questions.

10. (Q) Why do I, in my imagination, often feel like kneeling before, or kissing the hand of Jean Alexis Teslof, now resident at 200 West 57th St., N.Y. City? (A) As has been indicated for that entity Teslof, [See 1151-9, Par. 7-A--10-A] he was among the first of those to make or create in mosaics the activities - or depict same in this manner - of Him as He gave, "If ye will not believe because I have told you, believe for the very works' sake." Then as the entity Teslof made into this form those concepts of that activity of the Teacher, the Master, the Brother, there DAWNED upon the entity now called [1158] the real, REAL service. And as all that did vision same, there is felt then the reverence for the mind and hand that could so visualize a manifestation of His work and service in such a beautiful manner. Then is it so hard to understand, or is there any great wonder that in the presence of such there is felt that obeisance in the present? because of the awakening and the

1158-10 Page 3

assurance that "Indeed, it must be true!"

11. (Q) What have been the relationships in former lives with Jean Alexis Teslof? (A) Again it may be said that one experience so overshadows others as to become that channel, that awareness - which the activities of the entity called Teslof aroused in so many during that experience. And if the entity Teslof will in the present paint that description given of the Lord's Supper, as it has [5749-1] been outlined through this channel, or seek to have it awakened or aroused in the consciousness to undertake same, yea the whole of Christendom will again understand that the entity Teslof was so CLOSE to those teachings in that experience as to bring the awareness to many such as may not be given by another. Those were the activities, in that experience, that were so close to the entity, now [1158] and that which is felt in the present arises from same.

12. (Q) Would it be well for me to study singing this winter with Jean Teslof? (A) Do not overtax self, but this would be well; not only because of being able to give expression in song, in voice, of that which is aroused by such activity, but because of the experiences self may give to Teslof - in encouragements to do that which may be the crowning experience of the entity Teslof IN the activity indicated. Hence we find this should be not only because of that to be gained from those compositions that have become living experiences in the lives, hearts and minds of others; not only because of that which may be aroused in self but because of that the entity may assist in arousing in the hand and mind of Teslof.

13. (Q) When should I start and how many lessons a week should I take? (A) This becomes rather a material application that must be governed by circumstance. As we find, it would be soon after the beginning of the new year, preferably - or the preparations of same, and definite periods of once, twice a week - these to be set in their order after that beginning or period.

14. (Q) What should be my attitude of mind about trying to learn singing in order to progress most rapidly? (A) This becomes a part, then; if it may be given so as to

1158-10 Page 4

be fully understood. As has been comprehended oft, there arises in the experience of the self the necessity for the deep meditation with the awareness that His presence is so nigh unto thee. And yet there are those periods when it is the spoken word, even as He gave, "Lazarus, come forth!" yea as He gave, "Neither do I condemn thee; go and sin no more." Or as He gave, "Inasmuch as ye show forth the Lord's death till He come again. For keep this in remembrance till I drink it anew." Such then the entity finds necessary, in giving forth in song, in the harmonies of same. Just as has been indicated through this channel for many, the entity will find that there are the combinations of that ye call the scale - or those harmonies set to the Ar-ar-r-r----e-e-e----ooo---mmm - that awaken within self the abilities of drawing that love of the Father as shown to the children of men in the experiences of His own, through their activities in the earth. Hence we will find that to many, and to this entity specifically, the attempts even - yea, the seeking for the harmonious expression - will bring that which only music alone as set can span; that concept between the finite and the Infinite in its relationships to those that seek to know His presence with them.

15. (Q) Why has studying singing seemed such a difficult procedure in the past? (A) Not just giving time sufficient to FEEL that being manifested or expressed by such an activity. This may be gathered just a little more from what has been given regarding the Palestine sojourn, and as may be experienced through such an activity. Remember the wonderment, the fear of turning loose - as it were - of old traditions before grasping that new experience of "I am the way, the truth, the light." And ye come to Him by no other way then by making thy life, thy love, harmonious with the DIVINE love shown to the children of men! So in the present, so oft where ritual and rote were indicated necessary, these for the moment may have answered; but the sincerity of the self, the entity, so overshadowed the purpose that it became such as expressed by the beloved in his vision, that "Thy zeal hath eaten thee up."

1158-10 Page 5

So now, as the entity has seen and experienced and known, in that experience, as there was awakened in the consciousness in that experience, "Indeed, as ye abide in me and I in the Father, we are ONE." So may the abilities be expressed to give that courage, that understanding, to those - or that one that may awaken in the minds and the hearts of many the TRUTH of His life in the earth. And ye will find that the ability to give expression in song means a new experience, a new awakening within self. Not that it has not always been felt by the entity that such expression is necessary in the lives and hearts of many, but the very zealousness has hindered the entity from that FEELING of same, and there has been rather the attitude of "Well, it should be a part of me also."

16. (Q) Will my progress in my vocal study through the winter bring satisfaction, and make me happy? (A) As we find, it will be as has just been indicated.

17. (Q) Are the contacts with Jean Teslof in the future for the purpose of his helping me, or have I a service also to render to him? If so, what is the nature of my service? (A) This may be gathered from what has been given. Not only will the associations with Teslof bring to self the awareness of the abilities, the desire and efforts to give expression in song, but there will be the ability to arouse within Teslof the abilities to do that one piece, The Lord's Supper! For that - But let this be sought by Teslof!

18. (Q) Should I conquer my impulse to express affection toward him? (A) As the activities are an outpouring of a pure purpose, then the expression should only be limited to the maintaining of that associated with proper convention.

19. (Q) Was Jean Teslof's Greek name Pinneas, or Cineman? (A) Cineman.

20. (Q) Why did he think you had said Pinneas? (A) Because of another experience, as will be seen, that draws nigh to same; when the entity was a co-laborer with one da Vinci.

21. (Q) Leonardo da Vinci? (A) Leonardo da Vinci.

22. (Q) He knew him and was associated with him? (A) As will be seen when these records may be given complete.

23. (Q) Was Teslof at any experience in his past a great painter?

1158-10 Page 6

(A) We are getting off the track! We find in that experience when an associate with Leonardo da Vinci, especially. In some of his mechanical inventions, as well as in the painting called "The Last Supper" the entity now called Teslof applied much of that as is the composition of that immortal painting.
