Time of Reading 11:50 to 12:25 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1158] this we have had before.

2. As we find, in the main conditions are much more satisfactory than when last we had same here.

3. However, we find that if there would be particular attention given in making the osteopathic manipulations and adjustments to a coordinating between the lumbar axis AND the 9th dorsal axis, we would relieve tensions so as to remove the disturbance or distress at times that causes the activities or the functioning of the organs through the pelvis as coordinant with the digestive system.

4. Thus we would relieve the tensions to the upper portion of the body as related to the functionings of the organs above.

5. Not that attention is not to be given at such times to those areas in the upper dorsal and cervical, but the coordination. That is, as we will find, in the application of the manipulative forces - if the lumbar axis and the 9th dorsal plexus are HELD at the SAME TIME that a motion or manipulative movement is made with the right hand - there will be such a coordination created that this adverse activity will not continue to occur.

6. As to the rest of the precautions that have been indicated, these we would keep in the main.

7. Ready for questions.

8. (Q) Is Dr. Schoelles the best osteopath to do this work? (A) Dr. Schoelles is good, and as we find - with these particular precautions taken as indicated - we would find an improvement not yet fully indicated. Though the conditions are improved, there is this special area in which precautions in the manner indicated will show that necessary to be done.

9. (Q) How often should I have these treatments? (A) Once a week or twice a week for two to three weeks,

1158-11 Page 2

leave off for a period of a month to six weeks and then have again. Such a manner as we find is better, especially for the adult or the older patient.

10. (Q) Do my teeth need attention? (A) Some local attention is needed, as we find indicated. While the activities in caring for some have been very good, some other precautions are needed. It will be found that the condition of the teeth will be improved with the proper adjustments in the lumbar and in the solar plexus or 9th dorsal center, that the flow of the activities may be improved to the vagus center - or to the branches of same to the head and especially to the activities through the gums. But this does not mean that the attention locally should not be given to those particular portions of the system.

11. (Q) Should any be pulled? If so, which ones? (A) As we find, there is not the need of their being extracted if the proper precautions are taken - especially if the osteopathic corrections are made.

12. (Q) Would it be advisable to go to Dr. Jansen K. Hoornbeek, [D.D.S.], 654 Madison Ave., N.Y. City? (A) The activities here as we find are very efficient. If that is the better for the convenience and for the usage of those things needed, very well.

13. (Q) Is it advisable to take up a class of weekly exercise in Bronxville or work with Bluestone in N.Y.? (A) As we find, while exercises are advisable ever for each body, or regular routine, if there is the usage of the system in straining to go or come from such, these do not aid as much as if there were given the opportunity for the proper reactions from such exercises. Then as we find, in the home - or closer than New York - would be better; the home would be better.

14. (Q) Should I rest daily? (A) Each body should have rest periods, and so should this body. Have rest periods. These would preferably be AFTER meals; or as the old saw goes: "After breakfast work a while, after lunch rest a while, after dinner walk a mile." This routine would be very well to be considered by most people, and would be very well for this one.

15. (Q) Is it desirable for me to take massage treatments from Miss Dolly Pam, or from a local Swedish masseuse? (A) As we have indicated before, those activities and massages as given by Miss Pam are EXCELLENT, above the

1158-11 Page 3

ordinary. But the exercise and the energies used in going to and from such activities overbalance that as might be had from such; while the massage by an efficient masseuse close by would allow the greater benefit by not having to overtax self going back and forth.

16. (Q) Would it be well to have a Bronxville masseuse? (A) Massage applications are excellent for each body, and well for this. Then as we find it would be better to have the Bronxville masseuse. This suggestion is not given as a detriment to the abilities of Miss Pam, but the reasons for same have been indicated. If there are periods when there is sufficient time for the body to rest AFTER Miss Pam's treatments, then let them be injected even into the other treatments, occasionally.

17. (Q) How often should I have the Bronxville Swedish Massage? (A) Once in ten days or once in two weeks. This should be sufficient, with the regular activities that the body has. These massages are not to be hurried through, any more than an osteopathic adjustment is. When adjustments are given, as would be indicated, unless there is sufficient time taken for the body to react to the mechanical manipulations, these DO NOT carry the efficacy in the addition of help to the body as would be obtained if the time were taken. Now, the same applies to the application of the Swedish Massage - which is for the superficial circulation, to keep attunement as it were between the superficial circulation or the lymph and the exterior portion with the activities of the body. These treatments should not be hurried, and there should be given sufficient period for the reaction to the body. And treatments in this manner, then, will bring better results to the body.

18. (Q) Would Squibb's Dicalcium Phosphate with viosterol be wise for me to take? (A) This would depend very much upon how often the mechanical adjustments osteopathically are made, and the Massage given. Then with these combined, the activities of those properties in the system would NOT be as necessary - if the energies are used up in the proper manner, and the proper precautions are given in that direction.

1158-11 Page 4

An application of such is well occasionally, if there is felt weakness, or the inclination for the system to become acid, or for the system to indicate cold or congestion or shivery feelings. When taken, it should be taken regularly for short periods; two, three, four, five days, and then let the system react. Such a routine in most activities for the body will produce in the system the better reaction, for it does not allow the system to come to depend upon same for its activity. This does not necessarily mean that such things are habit-forming, but they are such that the glandular forces secreted through the activity of the bodily forces themselves depend upon the excess supply rather than the proper supply being created from the influences of the digestive system itself. For as understood by the body, and by the one that would make the mechanical or osteopathic adjustments, or the massage or masseuse activity, there is every force in the body to recreate its own self - if the various portions of the system are coordinating and cooperating one with another. Hence the reason why, as we have so oft given from the sources here, that mechanical adjustments as may be administered by a thorough or serious osteopathic manipulator may nearer adjust the system for its perfect unison of activity than most any other means - save under acute or specific conditions; and even then the more oft such become necessary. Then when such activities and proper precautions are taken, we will find the system is enabled, through these activities - by the proper diet - to assimilate and replenish all those forces that may be supplied through chemical or drug activities. It is necessary that such be supplied from the outside occasionally, to be sure; for when there is the excess or the unbalancing of the activities of the salts and the elements or the chemical reactions of or in the body, there is a lack either in the diet or because of pressure or the non-activity of some glandular force. Now these pressures released properly, diet considered properly, then the mechanical applications for this body would be more in order than taking other conditions in same.

19. (Q) Also, Abbot's Dulcet Bar Dicalcium Phosphate, plain? (A) With this might be said the same.

1158-11 Page 5

There has been a lack of the activities of calcium in the system, owing to drainages and the body being so overactive as to use up energies. But remember that the specific adjustments in the areas of the system as indicated are to release activities in such a way and manner that the endocrine glands, the absorption through the activities of the lacteals, will PRODUCE these elements in greater quantity for the system - if there are the opportunities given for their assimilation, from the character of diet. For the making or the creating of the body is as this: Each and every atomic structure of the body is able to reproduce itself, and is continually doing so; from the tiniest cell to the functioning of the larger organs - as the heart or the liver or the brain forces or the sensory forces as vision, voice, touch, feeling and hearing and all. Then to add other elements, save under greater distress, is to OVERTAX some other portion of the system!

20. (Q) Does this continue through, or does this cell activity grow less efficient after the age of fifty? (A) This depends upon what is built within the cells themselves! Does the efficiency of the spiritual forces, or the God-like forces, grow less by use? You see, this depends upon the individual activity. Gradually more and more there has been builded in the consciousness of the individual activity that age takes from. Yet when there is the application of those influences of a spiritual and mental nature, with the all-including influence of regeneration, we see and experience that it keeps right on! These energies may be used up at times by overexercise, overenergizing certain portions of the system, or by accident or by abuse in any form or manner, or by the neglecting of this or the overexercising of that - so that we produce barriers. There is no reason for these cells EVER to stop producing themselves, except by the mental energies of the individual! What is the builder? The Mind! What is the Mind? It is

1158-11 Page 6

both material and spiritual. Then the more spiritual, and the living and acting and being that manner, what is the promise? "HONOR - that thy days may be long in the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee." Does this indicate then that these should deteriorate? Rather should it not be a growth instead?

21. (Q) What about Squibb's Yeast tablets for me? (A) There are occasions when these would be very well. These as we find are those that aid the activity of the plasm through the digestive system to produce sufficient activity for better eliminations.

22. (Q) How often should I take them? (A) Whenever there is the feeling that there has not been sufficient activity through the colon. This may be then every day for several days, left off for a few days and then repeated again. Take one after each meal, though, when taken.

23. (Q) How about Debatine or Catalyn tablets to supplement green foods? (A) There is no supplementary to green foods in the real way or manner; though if there are the periods when there is not the ability to obtain or have the green foods - as through the various seasons - these others may be used, but rather as extremities than as a regular activity in same, see?

24. (Q) Am I taking sufficient Ventriculin with Iron, and Atomidine? (A) As indicated, these portions of the system that are affected by such properties are in much better condition throughout - because of the use of these. Do not let there be a skipping or an irregularity with these, as we have had at times, but take as indicated for the several days - regularly - and then leave off entirely. But to take these just occasionally, or irregularly, does not give the same reaction.

25. (Q) Will ice skating this winter be beneficial? (A) This is very helpful to any who through their mental build-up enjoy such. Such activities are well.

26. (Q) Is it desirable to use the Radio-Active Appliance? (A) As given respecting the use of the Radio-Active Appliance, the vibrations created by same are NOT curatives - these are EQUALIZERS. If the body is tired, if the body grows weary, mentally or physically, this will be found to be MOST beneficial - it is for ANY body, and it would be extremely well then for this body. If there are periods

1158-11 Page 7

when there is weariness, if there is the tendency for an overnervousness, use same. This only stimulates the activity of the nerve or vibratory forces of the low electrical energies in the system to UNIFY their purposes. Hence we find these are helpful and beneficial ever.

27. (Q) Should I take violet ray sun baths? [Ultra-Violet Light?] (A) When there are periods of the activities or weather such that there is little or no violet ray obtained by being in the daylight or strong sunlight, these then are always helpful. These then are used, as ever should be, to work WITH the general activity of the system; not to supplement, not to overemphasize the use of same - but these are like taking a bath, like taking food when hungry, like taking exercise to stimulate the activity. As to how often, then: When there are days or periods when there has been little or no sunlight, no activity in same, or such emergencies or conditions arising when it seems not plausible for the activity in the sunlight, then take the ultra-violet rays. These then only add to the general energies of the system, for they react in such a way that they become more efficient, more effective when only used in such a manner to produce such a reaction in the body.

28. (Q) Would facial treatments from Helena Rubenstein in N.Y. be advisable? (A) Occasionally, once a month or such matter. These become a matter of choice. Of course, there are benefits to be obtained from same. Where there is the activity such that the system, or that portion of the body becomes as it were fagged by lack of use or overuse, then such ministrations or stimulations become very well to be used.

29. (Q) Any other advice for the body at this time? (A) With that as has been seen or may be gained by the body, from the study of such as has been indicated here, keeping a normal balance in constructive thinking and application, we will keep the better efficiency in every way and manner.
