Time of Reading 4:05 to 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes - we have the body, [1158].

2. As we find, there is not sufficient of those vital forces which should be in the activities of the body. That is, too often does the body drive itself as it were for its strength and its vitality.

3. And, as has been indicated, there should be a more systematic budgeting of the time, and more given for recuperation AND rest - than for the activities requiring so much of the vital forces.

4. We would find as a tonic for the body that S.S.S. would be most helpful. For this would add to the system those influences for the digestive flow, provided - of course - there is the rest taken as indicated; it would give better activity through the assimilating forces and thus strengthen the glandular force as related to greater quantity of the red blood supply.

5. Occasionally - not too often - once a week or three times a month - have a GENERAL manipulation osteopathically. Not so much the segregating of any specific center but using the whole of the centers for making better coordination. Or a RELAXING treatment would be the better.

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) What is cause of recurring sharp pain in breast? (A) The strain upon the whole nervous system, and the relaxing of those energies for the stimulation of the glandular forces in the mammary glands. This is a portion of the system needing the strengthening as would be given by the stimulation of the indicated tonic for the body.

8. (Q) Will this relieve this condition? (A) It should.

9. (Q) Is one drop of Atomidine daily sufficient? (A) One drop is too much, now, daily; IF the S.S.S. is taken. We would take about three drops a week; or take the

ONE drop on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

10. (Q) Are three capsules of Ventrex with Iron and Vitamin D daily sufficient, replacing Ventriculin with Iron? (A) As we find, the S.S.S. is better than this preparation.

11. (Q) Would you advise changing to another osteopath for the treatments? (A) No. For as we find, this is the application that will make for the better conditions. However, it is more of a RELAXING treatment and a massage rather than specific adjustments; and if there is the desire on the part of the body to change, then change occasionally.

12. (Q) Would it be desirable from standpoint of my health to see Dr. Charlton of Bronxville? (A) If so desired.

13. (Q) Will I have another baby? (A) This depends upon the activities and the desires and the preparations for such.

14. (Q) When will menstruation probably stop? (A) This again depends upon the activities of the body and the general strength used in the exercising of the body, physically and mentally.

15. (Q) What means can you suggest to improve eyesight other than glasses? (A) The head and neck exercises, and the GENERAL application of SUGGESTIVE therapeutic treatment by self during such head and neck exercise. This means, to be sure, taking the time; not rushing through just to get it over with. But mornings, before arising - merely sit up on the bed, on the side. Begin VERY slowly; bending forward (just the head, you see) three to four times, then to the right, to the left, to the rear - the same number of times each way; slowly but specifically. Then circle the head, right and then left, the same number of times. Then just before retiring at night do the same exercises - but THIS time standing rather than sitting! At first it will tend to make for some dizziness, but this will gradually disappear. Then use the eyes carefully, not in STRAINING, but closed, with the affirmation gently of the strength arising sufficient to meet the needs of the individual application. And USE them properly, not ever under a strain, too fine a print, too strong a light or in too much shadow.

16. (Q) What further advice for maintaining balance in health? (A) Be consistent with self, in its physical, its mental, its spiritual life. Know that while separate these are one;

for the body is - as has been given - the temple of the LIVING God! The influences, then, as are His manifestations, are ONE within thy experience! Apply them, then, not as a harmful effect to anyone. For as is understood, while the body is Body, Mind, Soul - as Father, Son, Holy Spirit - they each have their different work to do. But each phase should be coordinant and cooperative with every other.
