Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1167].
2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body which prevent their normal functioning.
3. In giving, however, that as we find would be helpful, there are some attitudes, some concepts in the MENTAL influences of the body that should be set aright.
4. While these may require some thought or study on the part of the body, do NOT THESE things:
5. Do not consider that there is no escape. While there indeed are no shortcuts to spirituality, there are no ways of not meeting in self that self has done unto others except in the material concepts, but there has been and is set before each and every soul this:
6. There IS an Advocate with the Father, the Creator, the First Cause, the Omnipotent, that whatever we may term as the energizing influence that makes for creative forces in the impulses as we find in nature, in life, in the earth, in the environs about the earth!
7. And THAT FORCE has not willed that any soul should perish, neither suffer, but hath with each temptation, with each error, prepared a means, a manner of escape; through those influences, those activities that are about the individuals in their environment or their opportunities.
8. For He hath given, "Ye ABIDE in me, I in YOU, and what ye ask shall be given unto you."
9. That mechanical means, attitudes of mind, medicinal properties that may be brewed from nature's storehouse, may add an influence to a physical body, to a mental being, is merely an expression of that First Cause; breaking down, if you will, the ego, the selfishness, the all-importance of the self or the I [?] in each soul.
10. Know then the influences that are about thee, that are good, that are constructive, that are creative in their nature, can have ONLY ONE SOURCE of emanation - GOOD, which
1167-1 Page 2
is God!
11. Hence in making the applications for those disturbing forces that, as we find, are existent in the body in the present, most of these arise from suppression of emotions. Whether these arise from the natural changes that have come, or are coming about in the bodily functions, or whether they be from the EMOTIONAL influences of the mental body, they have been and are suppressions.
12. But know, too, that as it has been given by Him who IS a pattern, who is THE pattern by which an individual soul may be free; if ye know the truth, the truth SHALL make you free indeed. No longer may we become then subject to those forces, for He - not as an individual - may stand in thy stead; as the causes, as the activities, as the influences that may set SELF aright, may SHOW thee in the study, in the application OF those forces about thee, that these that may hinder may be far removed from the body.
13. There are those suppressions that produce the disturbances in the circulation, as to cause a headache through pressures upon the nerve centers and the ganglia, thus making for periods of restlessness, insomnia, upsetting in the digestion - or producing indigestion; also those conditions that have localized, as in the nasal passages where it is necessary that there be not so much a REMOVAL of the obstruction as local applications for the membranes, that - through the activity of an overactive influence in attempting to keep the body clear - have produced an abnormal suppression in the form of a growth. But this, with an equalized circulation, with the passages kept clean, allowing the circulation to remove the obstruction forces, may be entirely removed from the body.
14. However, those conditions in the teeth or jaw are of such natures that these NEED to be LOCALLY removed; for the pressure upon the nerve forces is such as to cause a constant suppression by irritation to the general distribution of energies through the head, the neck and the upper portions of the body. THESE we would have removed by operative forces, yes.
15. In the applications then for the general forces of the body, as we would find, with the proper attitudes - not as going through rote as of saying prayers, not as that of formalities, but THAT THERE MAY BE AWAKENED within EVERY ATOM, every center of the bodily force itself, those awarenesses that life in its energies, in its activities may RENEW the body as the water that quenches the thirst, as it may add in its flow to the life of every influence that manifests itself in a material plane - we may bring the
1167-1 Page 3
better conditions for this body.
16. For these then may be accomplished through mechanical means; osteopathic applications specifically in the lumbar and the central dorsal forces, coordinating the upper dorsal and cervical centers; making for SPECIFIC applications in the 3rd and 4th cervical, that the flow of the blood supply to the nasal passages and the face muscular forces may carry sufficient of the nutriments through an increased circulation to not only set up drainages but to relieve those pressures there.
17. Then, also we would use an antiseptic to cleanse the nasal passages and to keep the throat clear, prepared in this manner:
18. To 4 ounces of Pure Grain Alcohol, add - in the order named: Oil of Eucalyptol....................20 minims, Rectified Oil of Turp.................5 minims, Compound Tincture of Benzoin.........15 minims, Oil of Pine Needles...................5 minims, Tolu in solution.....................30 minims.
19. Keep this in a glass corked bottle and let it be at least a 6 ounce bottle. When ready to use, shake together and inhale the fumes from the top of same. It is not to be taken as a spray, not to be taken internally, but used only by INHALING the fumes that arise from same. Inhale in both sides of the nasal passages; holding the one, drawing deep through the other, then through the other. Then, of course, inhale into the lung or the throat, for the bronchi.
20. We would also use the Radio-Active Appliance that will act as an equalizer for the circulatory forces in the body and allow rest.
21. As indicated, we would remove the disturbances in the jaw, or the impacted tooth.
22. Keep the body physically fit, with an equal balance in the diet. Keep more to an alkalin-reacting diet; eighty percent alkalin-producing to twenty percent of the acid-producing.
23. Do these, and we will find the body not only mentally and physically efficient but more capable of giving CONSTRUCTIVE forces through its work.
24. (Q) What has been the cause of my constant fatigue and sensitive nerves that are hard to control? (A) Just read what has been given. Suppression. Tiring out of the nerve forces, depleting the blood supply, and taxations as produced in many portions of the body. And the natural changes that have come and are coming about, in the adjusting of the bodily functions throughout.

Do those things as we have given, and we will find help for this body.
