1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1168].
2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions in the physical forces of the body, that produce disturbances in the coordination between the physical and mental body.
3. To give the causes of these, and as to how - as we find - help may be brought for the body, is to give something of those conditions that surrounded the body during the period of gestation and at the time of birth.
4. For there were periods when there was a despairing of proper delivery, and yet the body itself as well as that it depended upon apparently outgrew those conditions produced BY an improper presentation and the MANNER of taking same.
5. These then are the conditions physical, mental, as we find with this body, [1168], we are speaking of:
6. The indications through the blood supply show how that the body is constantly under a nerve strain, but that the reactions which come about that produce the incoordination in the reflexes between the muscular forces or the body-physical and the body-mental occur rather at those periods of CYCLE readjustment between the lower portions of that cord called the pineal with its coordination with the adrenal and the lacteal plexus, or larger portion of the assimilating system.
7. For it is in the area here that the pressure has produced, does produce, a condition similar to a bundle of nerve tissue that has made and does make for its activity or pressure upon the pineal end AND the adrenal at periods when these changes, or cycles of change, occur.
8. Hence we have a blood supply that is normal at times yet shows a continuance of lack of those plasms that are necessary for the proper coagulations in the system. Hence the body, though at periods well balanced - at others, has an exceeding nervous temperament; with an exceeding strain upon all portions of the body itself.
1168-1 Page 2
9. In the nervous SYSTEM itself these as we find exist in those ganglia or areas between the 12th dorsal and the 4th lumbar. And we will find an area there when at times (as at present) there is a decided congestion in the plexus there, forming a lesion that pulsates - as it were - with these changes; and a pulling from the right side and a tenderness over that area that extends diagonally THROUGH that portion of the body from the right side to the left, coming as it were to about the 2nd and 3rd lumbar plexus center.
10. Hence we find an unusual manner in which the body walks even when normal, in the position as with the whole of the spinal column, as it erects with same; especially during the periods that are now forming that make for an exaggeration upon the imaginative forces of the body, a condition that becomes extremely of the nature that makes for strains upon the body.
11. But to give the sedatives or even the hypnotics that cause the allaying or subjugation only makes for temporary reliefs, though during portions of the periods these as we find would be well to be considered to keep the body quiet at times.
12. These then for helpful forces, as we would find, will require persistence, patience; and yet to bring to the physical forces of the body or to give the opportunity for its self-expression, for its manifestation through these periods of activity, would justify those things to be carried out.
13. Begin then immediately with the Castor Oil Packs that would extend from the upper portion of the left hipbone over the back and across to the middle portion of the body on the RIGHT side, you see, almost encircling but coming higher above on the right side. These should be given for an hour to two hours each day, for periods of two weeks at a time. Then a rest period of three weeks, and then a period of two weeks again. EACH day this Pack of hot Castor Oil.
14. And following same (each day after the Pack is given), have a general and gentle massage from the coccyx, specifically, to the 9th dorsal, and occasionally (once or twice a week) coordinating the rest of the cerebrospinal centers with same. But each day the Pack is given, massage the lower portion of the spine gently in a neuropathic manner, circular on either side of the spine, holding the centers especially in the coccyx end of the spine itself. And after these are given for four to five periods, gradually make a CORRECTION of the END of the coccyx bone itself, AS the body is the more thoroughly relaxed.
15. Begin also with the use of the Radio-Active Appliance as
1168-1 Page 3
a quieter for the nerve forces of the body.
16. Do these until four or five periods of the Packs are given. Then we may give further instruction.
17. Continue the Appliance treatment one hour each evening through periods when the Packs are NOT given.
18. In the matter of the diet, keep those things that are body-building; those that are at least eighty percent alkaline-reacting to the twenty percent acid.
19. Keep up the eliminations.
20. And then we may bring a helpfulness to this body, to overcome the physical and mental disturbances that have been of SO LONG a standing.
21. Ready for questions.
22. (Q) Is the condition curable? (A) As given, if there is the response, if there is the patience, if there is the persistence, this should before the body is thirty-two be near to normal.
23. (Q) Is this condition acute mania? (A) No; rather - as indicated - a pressure upon the glandular forces that at cycles of expression produce an acute condition. If we will relieve the pressures by breaking up the conditions in the system, by absorption through the exterior forces as aided by the coordinating through the manipulative forces, then we will supply through other measures - if these respond - a stimuli to respond glandular functioning that produces proper coordination with the sensory forces from the brain's reaction constantly.
24. We are through for the present. Copy to Father " " Ass'n file (5/19/36 GD's notes: See directions [which were enclosed] for preparing Castor Oil Packs; also letter to Neuropath; letter to H.H.R. Co., and an Alkaline-Reacting Diet List. Let us know about a week before you are ready for the Check reading.)
