Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1172].

2. As we find, conditions are rather serious. These arise from infectious forces as combined with conditions of a very much depleted blood supply and vitality. And there are rather unusual conditions, in that the inability for the blood supply to coagulate is a strain not only upon the whole vitality but to the resistances that are necessary to be builded up.

3. These are conditions as we find them with this body:

4. The blood supply indicates the very nature or the character of those disturbing factors or infectious forces of a tubercle nature, not only in the throat but a portion of the stomach itself MORE than the lungs.

5. These of course may spread, yet - as we find - this may be materially aided. However, it will require a great deal of patience, persistence on the part of the body, and with the determination to meet the conditions; to separate self, as it were, from the general activities until there can be builded those conditions that will make for resistances, for the plasm in the blood supply, to make for recuperative forces in the system, to overcome these tendencies and these conditions.

6. As we find, then, these would require rather as this:

7. To be sure, rest from exercises - but separating self to where the fumes of pines or pure clear air may be had, where the body may be in the open and yet sheltered from - of course - direct drafts upon the body itself. Plenty of sunshine; plenty of milk that would come as fresh from the cow - that is clear from ANY infectious force, and this in the most part should be taken warm - that is, warm from the body heat of the cow, see? Take a glassful of this morning and evening.

8. The inhalations from apple brandy; plenty of chicken; plenty of LIVER - not so much of this fried - rather broiled, in both cases. Liver extract.

9. All of these would be those things that would add to, and build up the strength and the resistances for the body.

10. Prepare the apple brandy in a keg; gallon keg charred inside, or gallon and a half or two gallon keg. Anyway, put at least half a gallon of apple BRANDY in same; not others, but pure apple brandy that has been distilled, see? Keep this where it will keep warm; keep it corked tight; and prepare with a tube that may be kept corked, from which there may be inhaled the fumes - as the cigarette would be - into the throat and lungs; even at times swallowing same; not the brandy but the FUMES of same, see? These tend to cauterize as well as to make for recuperative powers.

11. These, as we find, offer the better opportunities for help or relief.

12. The conditions warrant strenuous measures being taken.

13. Ready for questions.

14. (Q) What causes the coughing and vomiting of blood? (A) As indicated, the lacerations or the effect of the inability of the throat and portion of the end of the esophagus that enters the stomach to refrain from the pores, as it were, opening; or the folds even of the tissue itself involved.

15. (Q) What brought about this condition? (A) General rundown condition, torpidity in the blood supply, and then the effect of infection from tubercle.

16. (Q) Could he be treated at home? (A) Should be - better to be - out in the OPEN. Better to be in the home, however, than in an institution.
