Time of Reading 6:00 to 6:35 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1173]; this we have had before.
2. As we find, while there is much more to be desired in the general physical abilities and reactions of the body, there is a great improvement in many ways from that as we have found here before.
3. While conditions are still under the distresses of the lack of vitality, the lack of proper assimilation for the greater distributions throughout the whole of the physical organism, these show greater vitality, greater resistances.
4. Through portions of the lung area or in the lower portions of same, so much disturbance through the tissue or the capsule of the lung itself has produced those tendencies for scar tissue effect, or the tissue to become rather of a nature that draws upon the body.
5. Hence those centers from which these portions of the body receive the impulse through the nerve and blood supply show a soreness, also the inability of the proper ratio of activity with the rest of the body itself.
6. Where there are those effects seen in the activities of the body through the inability in the lung area for the carbonizing or oxygenizing of the ratio of the circulatory forces, a disturbance is produced - and a tendency for temperature to arise from this greater activity of the portions of the system.
7. These, too, draw upon the strength and vitality of the system. Yet as we find if we would apply THESE in the present, we would make for those activities that will enable the body, through the present disturbances, to gain strength, vitality, and REGAIN its near to normal equilibrium in time; if there is the consistency and the persistency in not nursing the disturbance but in nursing rather HEALTH, STRENGTH, VITALITY for the body.
1173-6 Page 2
8. We would then insist that there be at least once or twice each day the deep inhalations of the fumes from Apple Brandy (pure), in CHARRED container; and only the gases from these inhaled into the throat, bronchi, lungs.
9. With the taking of the Animated or Carbon Ash once each day, use the ultra-violet ray over the portions of the body opposite the lower part of the lungs. Not too long a period but three to ten minutes after the Ash is taken, not in capsule but dry on tongue or in water and washed down with a sip of water. The ultra-violet ray would be taken for three to ten minutes, or if far from the body as a light - which is helpful to the whole activity of the circulation - it may be taken for longer periods; and this may be a portion of the whole applications for same.
10. For the assimilating system keep the Beef Juices; these as a part of the diet. Iron, as may be easily assimilated by the system in the diet itself. Body and blood building forces. Not overtaxing the body with food, but that which carries all of the vitamins in such a manner as to rebuild first resistances, and these will make for continued improvements. And kept in these directions should bring near to normal forces for this body.
11. Ready for questions.
12. (Q) What prevents the body's forearms from straightening out, and will this condition with normal exercise correct itself naturally? (A) We would occasionally have a massage, not too deep but gentle massage. For as has been indicated, this arises from those strains upon those portions of the ganglia in the cerebrospinal system that affect through the brachial center the locomotion of the arms; and is from those conditions in the lower portion of the cavities about the lung area. These will eventually become normal, with these applications and the massage gently given; osteopathically given would be very well, if it is not attempted to be given too severely.
13. (Q) Should the massage by the Pam method be continued, and if so about how long and how often? (A) If these are given, about twice a week should be sufficient; if they are given not too severe but made to react with the superficial as well as the deeper circulation.
14. (Q) What should be done to correct the acne condition of this body? (A) This is a part of the effect of those conditions in the blood stream from which much of the overtaxation and other conditions caused an acute condition in the circulatory
1173-6 Page 3
system. If there is builded the stamina in the circulation through the activities of properties as indicated with the use of those influences that act upon the circulation by the inhalation, by the activity of the electronic reactions through the ultra-violet upon those activities given internally in the system, we will find these will react upon this circulation in such a manner as to gradually alleviate CAUSES. Thus the effects will be eliminated as the system adjusts itself.
15. (Q) From time to time when the body swallows he notices a cracking sound in his ears. Should anything be done for this? (A) The applications of the massage as indicated for those centers more specifically in the upper dorsal and through the cervical area reach to those portions where the effect of the circulation will alleviate those disturbances. Do not be alarmed at these conditions, for rather are there the indications that the system is attempting to coordinate the better in the flow of all the forces that accord with the cerebrospinal to the sensory organism. For as the sensory organisms affect through the vagus center to the auditory forces, to the throat, to the optics and to all portions of the system, these are rather an inclination or a sign or an omen to the body of their reacting nearer normal. But with these manipulations and these applications these conditions should gradually become normal.
16. (Q) How are the body's eyes? (A) There is the natural inclination from the circulatory forces for a depletion in the condition, and for those activities upon the sensory forces as indicated. These at times we find blurry. They are not strong. Hence when in strong light, or in the sunlight, or even in the ultra-violet ray light, wear shaded glasses.
17. (Q) The body's pulse runs from 90 to 110 when he is standing. Should this have any bearing on the amount he exercises? (A) To be sure, it should. For with activities of the body, while these should be kept up, do not overtax the system until there is sufficient quantity as well as quality of blood supply to supply the energies to the system for all organs to receive sufficient amounts of blood flow in activity to carry on their proper function, see? All portions of the organs, of course - even in activity the greater flow of the blood is between the heart and the liver. And this quickens then the pulsations when active or standing; because there is so little of the blood then in the superficial portions or in the extremities of the body,
1173-6 Page 4
this taxes the body. But a little by little may the activities be increased as those influences give bodily forces that build and strengthen resistance to the organs themselves. For what may be termed as the greater saving grace as it were to the whole of the conditions is that the organs themselves are RESPONDING with the general condition of the body. This is the more hopeful sign or indication of real strength, real help being accorded to this body, [1173].
18. (Q) Has the body been exercising too much? (A) There have been times when it has been a little bit overdone. Be mindful there's not too much stepping up and down; for this creates the lack of the equilibrium or balance and makes for that of fear within. Not within the mental forces but fear within - as it might be said - the impulses. See, we have these conditions: Every activity of a physical body is seen through the nervous forces of the body-function itself. And the impulses for an active flow along the nerve forces of the system, through the cerebrospinal as well as the activities of the sympathetic or vegetative nerve system. These supply, through their activity, energies from the blood stream - of course - to meet the needs of that required for the activity as not maintained, or as may be maintained in the muscles and tendons of the system. So, as may be comically said, as the elbow bends the mouth flies open is habit; but in making steps there is the impulse for the raise of the flexus of the muscular forces through the whole body. Hence with overtaxation especially of that nature it is hard upon the body until there is a little more strength. Then, as we find, if there is the adherence to those suggestions given, by Christmas the body should trip up the steps - for two or three steps at least.
19. (Q) Would you advise a short daily walk? (A) As much in the open as possible. The more oxygen from the air, as the air IS, is the better for the body. While the oxygen may be supplied through oxygen forces and a great deal of help will come with a stimuli to the whole of the system through the releasing of the carbon with the Ash AND the ultra-violet, the Nature's Forces are the better. For after all, all HEALING is from the divine within, and not from medications. Medications only ATTUNE or accord a
1173-6 Page 5
body for the proper reactions from the elemental forces of divinity within each corpuscle, each cell, each muscle, each activity of every atom of the body itself.
20. (Q) Is it advisable for the entity Minnie S. M. Berggren to remain with me, and if so for how long? (A) This depends upon the reactions and upon the activities and abilities of the body to meet its OWN actions and activities. For the present, very well. After a period up until - we would say - Christmas, not necessary. [11/28/36 She was present for his 1173-7.]
21. (Q) Using the [[1151] family] mercury vapor light at a distance of only 22" for 4 minutes, the body received no perceptible effect. Does this indicate the vapor light is out of order, and should it be repaired? (A) The vapor light as we find is not out of order. The activity of the vapor mercury light upon the body should not be so severe, for it strikes in. Not the superficial activity that is felt but that which occurs the next day or the day after, from the reaction of the tissue itself. For this should be and is, and we find, efficient - and would be active upon the body sufficient for the needs in the present.
22. (Q) Is 22" the right height to have the light? (A) This is rather close to the body. 28" would be more preferable.
23. (Q) For a 10 minute period or longer? (A) For 8 to 10 to 12 minutes, not longer; especially with the Ash in the system. If the Ash is taken and this is desired to be given for a longer period, then remove at least to 38" to 40" and then remain for 20 to 30 or 40 minutes in the light.
24. (Q) Should this be daily? (A) As given, it should be daily.
25. (Q) Is it advisable for the body to go to a warmer climate this winter? If so, which would be more harmonious, Florida or Arizona? (A) This should depend a great deal upon the entity's wishes, the entity's own desires, the entity's activities that bring about the associations of places and conditions and circumstances and all. For to make for such changes without being in perfect accord with the wishes of the entity, the climatic conditions would not be sufficient to meet the needs and demands of the body. However, as we find, the Florida - especially the west coast is active - would be more preferable than the Arizona
1173-6 Page 6
climate for THIS particular body. Why? As indicated, the SALT air (which is not always better for such disturbances, but is for this body); the salt and sand and the pines, or the pine reactions - whether these be rather just the ozone as may be created by the burning of or the heating of pine about the body as a portion of that created by those activities, or from the burning of carbon as in the deeper electronic lights, would be helpful. And these are more preferable for the general conditions of this body. Then, if the change is made, these would be rather had. Hence if the body finds that there is the feeling that such activities would be the more desirable for self, considering all circumstances and conditions, associations and relations, then very well. If remaining in the present climate, then take in consideration the sunshine and the necessity of supplying same, and in that case we would change the light to a Cooper-Hewett Mercury light.
26. (Q) Would Miami, Florida be satisfactory? (A) That's the east coast; we would suggest the west coast - the variations here, near Clearwater, St. Petersburg or the like, you see, would be best.
27. (Q) Would it be advisable to motor to Florida with the Horace Hamblings? (A) This would be very well if all conditions fit in, but circumstances as go with these - well, the body here should decide. For these are not altogether in keeping.
28. (Q) Should the osteopath be employed as well as the masseur, Dolly Pam? (A) As we find, the osteopath may care for the whole of the condition a little bit later much better than JUST the masseur; though the masseur in the present, as has been given, we would keep. And ever let the mental attitude of the entity, of the body, be constructive, hopeful in its associations and activities; not only towards being good but being good FOR SOMETHING - even in your thinking, even in the activity, even in the speech! For all of these create that atmosphere not only about self but about those with and around self. For if the body mentally, physically, spiritually, is ever in a CONSTRUCTIVE period, then we find - as the voice
1173-6 Page 7
answering as one to another - the vibratory forces of the Creative Energies create HEALTH, HOPE!
29. (Q) Would it be all right or advisable for the body to go to ..., Ohio for Christmas? (A) This depends upon how well the body takes care of itself between now and Christmas! As we have given, it should be able to walk, should be able to even trip up and down steps by then - if there is done all that has been given!
