Time of Reading 11:45 to 12:40 Noon - Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1173]; this we have had before.

2. As we find, there are continued improvements in the general physical forces of the body.

3. There needs be then that those suggestions that have been made be adhered to; that there may be created that balance of cooperation and coordination throughout the physical forces of the body, revivifying those disturbances to a constructive activity, rather than a tearing down; and creating those balances in the coordination of the mental with the spiritual for the material activity.

4. Much seeks to be said as respecting the activities of the body in its usefulness to others as the Creative Forces are bringing new life, as it were, to not only portions of the body that have been disturbed but new life to the mental and spiritual outlook of the body upon a sin-sick world.

5. For He hath much work for thee to do.

6. Ready for questions.

7. (Q) Would phosphorus be helpful to him? If so, will you suggest the name of a tonic including phosphorus and iron? (A) As we find, phosphorus, to be sure, is a necessary element, but its assimilation from synthetic concoctions is oft hard upon the body. The assimilation of same from food values then becomes much more not only palatable but activative with the influences of the body. Those then as we find of the artichoke, the lowly rutabaga or turnip - these taken at least once to twice a week as a portion of the meal - will be the better manner for this to be assimilated by this body at the present time. Let these be some considerations: If there is the constant dosing or constant application of synthetic influences, these become at times hindrances to the body. But if there are those

1173-8 Page 2

activities from nature's storehouse, then we find these work with the Creative Energies and impulses of an organism to create and to bring about coordinating influences in the system. Hence as has been indicated for the body, with the varied elements, the varied activities that are a portion of the entity's experience, we will find that there is gathered from all of these more and more of those influences as indicated. For no element outside of body produces healing, but that the attunement to the coordinating and cooperative forces of life-force as it meets the various influences that have been brought about by some error or some misapplication, the awareness of the God-Force, the Life-Force working in and through the system. These are the manners in which healing, in which enlightenment, in which knowledge comes to the applicable experience of the individual entity.

8. (Q) Should he take Ventriculin? with Iron? (A) Ventriculin with Iron is to be used for the body, as has been indicated, as an enzyme builder. These will supply especially for this body the healing influence in those areas where there has been the tendency for tissue to adhere, as in pleura, as in portions of the system where disturbances have prevented the full flow; and aid in producing in the blood stream the coagulating influences. As is understood by the body, and as it studies more and more its own self, its own relationship to life in its manifesting in a material plane, there is known that with each energy - whether in breathing, in walking, in seeing, in movements of the body - energies are used up. Just as would be in propelling of a locomobile, the gas or the force or the power is expended. In the SYSTEM there is left the dross or the carbon, as would be illustrated in such a condition, and the replacing of the fuels or the energies - as well as the eliminations of those forces in the system that are the dross - must be kept in a coordinant or cooperative manner. Thus in supply to the system these influences are, as we find, combined in these elements - Ventriculin with Iron - in such measures that they are easily assimilated by the system to become a portion or part of that activity; thus enabling the system - not as a habit-forming property, not

1173-8 Page 3

as to oversupply, but in such manners as to bring cooperation in the system - to rebuild and replenish that necessary. The dosage then of this would be a heaping teaspoonful every other day. Take for periods of ten days, leave off for five days, then begin again. These are much more effective and much more beneficial to a body, that is gradually building with other influences those necessary forces in the system.

9. (Q) Is Dr. Schoelles [George J. Schoelles] of N.Y., an efficient osteopath and the correct one to begin treatments on his body? (A) Yes, as we find, there is not only here an efficient osteopath but most of all a conscientious operator. There may be experiences, and these should be the manner in which this approach would be - and as we have given, we would begin these on the eighth day of the month: We would begin then not to break up so much as to stimulate those areas that have been indicated for better drainage and better assimilations. And gradually as conditions change or develop, there will be as we find specific operations that will be a little out of the ordinary for the body to use in this of a mechanical means of creating in and through the body that necessary by the use of structural portions of the body to alleviate pressures in ganglia and in centers, or stimulation and suppression in their varied ways and manners of application, that would become to this body most effective and most helpful.

10. (Q) How many times a week should these treatments be given? (A) Let it be a part of the exercise for the body, and a part of that which is not merely routine but activities that there may be the greater understanding. Let this be a portion of the treatment: In each treatment, during every period of treatment, let the body [1173] ask questions as to what this operation or mechanical means is SUPPOSED to produce, how the activity of such releasing of such stimulation affects the body. This will not only aid in the mental application of a mechanical means but will also stimulate the operator's interest in an effectiveness of the applications upon conditions. And do this at least twice a week. It is much better still here to have three to four weeks of treatments and then rest

1173-8 Page 4

a week to ten days, and then begin all over again, than to have a continuation of fifteen to eighteen to twenty-eight treatments given two or three days a week and kept up - for then they become mechanical - they lose their hold upon purposes and aims and desires that are influenced by applications of helpful influences to a body by mere routine.

11. (Q) Should the Pam woman continue once a week her massage? (A) These are most helpful. We would continue same. For these follow more of the nerve impulses than the deeper. Hence as given, there are those conditions arising where the deeper manipulations by the osteopath will be necessary. Do not be too severe in the beginnings, but gradually as the strength and resistance and the blood stream becomes renewed and revivified, the eliminations and the drosses become less and less a portion of the specific condition, we will find these will be more and more helpful - the DEEPER manipulations. This does not lessen the effectiveness of the Pam treatments, nor does it take away from the body the helpfulness that is obtained through those treatments; for as has been indicated, you have an exceptional operator here.

12. (Q) Would Catalyn Vitamin Tablets, suggested by Dr. Schoelles, the osteopath, be helpful? (A) Yes, as we find these are in effect an activity that creates or builds a resistance against acidity, and is then desirable for this body. For drosses and an overabundance of that influence of tissue to be removed, naturally creates that tendency - and especially in a blood supply where there is a deficiency in resistance, in quantity and quality. Hence these taken, as we find one taken every day, if taken for ten days, and a rest period of three to five days and then begin again, will be desirable.

13. (Q) Would Derbatain Vitamin Tablets be preferable to Catalyn? (A) The Catalyn we find has a resistance-building in the direction most needed here, while the Derbatain builds - and builds in the concentration of the vitamins - but not so much as the Catalyn in acid resistance.

14. (Q) Should the body take Pineapple Culture Bulgarious Bacillus? (A) This if taken occasionally is very good, especially through the intestinal tract, that this bacillus acts the most with. But do not overdo it, see? as has been indicated, by continuing to be dosing with this or that and the other, without the understanding. For as has been indicated in the manner in which even the

1173-8 Page 5

mechanical applications are to be applied, the questioning brings an awareness and a desire for the effectiveness of that that may be created. The addition then of so great a quantity of the various foods or various activities becomes then rather as, "Well, it's just something to be gotten through with," WITHOUT the consideration or without the system's being able to create within its own self NECESSARY forces for its continual sustenance. This is well to be taken once or twice a week. We would not take this oftener.

15. (Q) How much at a time? (A) An ordinary or regular dosage that is given as one that should be, to some, taken almost every day. But not too much, not too little This works again as an acidophilus or as sodium salycilate in the system would work from the metals.

16. (Q) Is two hours rest each afternoon sufficient, and how long should the afternoon rest be continued? (A) As we find, these become rather then conditions that are to be considered in relationships to the desire and the activities of the body. For at least the next six weeks, at least two hours or two hours and a half each afternoon is desirable. But do not let the rest become as a burden to the desires of the body. For there is more and more the awakening to those forces as indicated, that he must be about his Father's business - this becomes apparent. And do not pull against the leash. For as the desire, as the strength is gradually gained and maintained, and those awakenings mentally, spiritually, physically to the great forces that are set in motion and to which the body may be so great a part, there needs to be laborers in His vineyard. And there is a harvest that needs His workers. Then it becomes rather as indicated. There may be days even during the six weeks when there is the need that someone be spoken to, some help be given here or there. For always remember, "As ye do it unto the least of thy brethren, ye do it unto thy Maker."

17. (Q) Is the Radio-Active Appliance working properly, and should it be used? (A) As we find the Radio-Active Appliance that is in position for use is working properly. Do not submerge too deeply into the ice and water. Have more ice than water, and never so much that it become closer than an inch or inch and a half of the top of Appliance. And we will find by its

1173-8 Page 6

use there is less of those tendencies for the properties used as the container to become short circuited by either the sweating or by the activities of the carbons upon the body itself. This used keeps a normal balance and is most effective for resting, and is a good aid when meditation is desirable. For as we find, the body is as a triune. As the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, so the body, the mind, the soul. If they are as one - body, mind, soul - as the effective activity of a low current of electrical reaction or radiation is created in the active forces of the Radio-Active Appliance - it brings to the system just those influences; the tendency to make the body-physical, the body-mental and the mental-spiritual forces more and more in accord by a unison. Hence in the use of this, use these as the periods of thy meditations, and in thy reading of the Scriptures that refer to thee. Read them not as history, read them not as axioms or as dogmas, but as of thine own being. For in the study of these ye will find that ye draw unto that force from which the writers of same gained their strength, their patience. And as He hath given, in learning patience, as all do in suffering, ye become aware of your soul and its relationships to the Creative Forces that were experienced by the writers of almost all of our history of same; and these are ever this: He is the same yesterday, today and forever. And as has been their experience, not possibly in the same manner but each to his own calling. For some are ministers, some are healers, some are preachers. But to all is given according to the measure of their faith. And as ye apply this, though a mechanical implement made by man - yet also was the ephod [See Source File Key #1173 for explanation of "ephod" re 1173-8], also was the altar made by man - yet these have brought, these may bring, these do bring, even as the vision of the Cross, even as Gethsemane's garden, even as the ordinances have their place in the awakening of the consciousness of the inner being of a soul, of a man, so may this be - not as a rosary, not as a picture, but rather as UNITING the body, the mind, the soul with that trinity - God, the Father, the Son, the Spirit.

1173-8 Page 7

Thus may it bring to thee those experiences that are thine alone. And again He gives, "We have much work for [1173] to do!"

18. (Q) What passages especially should he read in the Bible? (A) The admonition of Moses, the creation of man in the first three chapters, the admonition of Joshua, the 1st Psalm, the 2nd and 4th Psalm, the 22nd, 23rd and 24th Psalm, the 91st Psalm, the 12th of Romans, the 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th of John, 13th of 2nd Corinthians [1 Cor. 13?], and the Book of Revelation. And in the Revelation study as this: Know, as there is given each emblem, each condition, it is representing or presenting to self a study of thine own body, with ALL of its emotions, all of its faculties. All of its physical centers represent experiences through which thine own mental and spiritual and physical being pass. For it is indeed the revelation of self.

19. (Q) Would it be advisable for me to go to [Ohio] for New Year's? (A) As we find, this will be most desirable, and in reality very helpful - if, to be sure, precautions are taken. And take the operator, Pam, with you.

20. We are through for the present. [See 1173-8, Par. R1.] Copy to Self " " Ass'n file " " Mrs. [1158]
