Time of Reading 3:45 to 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ill.

1. GC: You will have before you the entity, [1173], born May 25, 1908, in ..., Ohio, and the entity [1483], born January 31, 1909, in ..., Ohio - and their earthly sojourn or relationship in the period just previous to the present, around Erie, Cleveland, Dearborn, etc. You will answer the questions for the enquiring mind of [1173] regarding such relationship, as I ask them, with advice as to the best working out of their individual problems in the present.

2. EC: Yes, we have the information that has been given respecting the entities, [1173] and [1483] and the records here of each.

3. These become a little unusual, in attempting to give the interpretations of the activities of an individual or individuals - where purposes and desires INNATE have builded within such individuals temperaments that are quite varied.

4. However, they have much in common, in many directions, and much of karma - or influences not GROWING, or developing - to be worked out together in the present.

5. These as they have asked for, we will interpret from the records here of their associations that bring them in closer contact in the present experience.

6. As we find, [1483] was a home maker, for a frontiersman, a storekeeper; being the wife of the friend of the entity now called [1173].

7. Yet their associations from their own consciousnesses in the experience, and that which is a growth within each in the present, would not be called circumspect.

8. These of themselves then create, or have made within the experiences of each, definite urges.

9. In [1173] there is the urge to be a protector, a defender; the urge or feeling that in the associations there is the need for SOMETHING. Yet that relationship as would establish a home in its deeper sense does not appear to be, nor become that WHOLLY or SPIRITUALLY sought. Yet that

1173-11 Page 2

protection is there.

10. In the activities of the entity now called [1483] there was builded the urge of a deeper experience - but builded from the motives of self-satisfying; becoming as one dependent upon - or the determination to have the own way is too much the promptings.

11. Now, as to what they each are to do about these experiences becomes a matter of choice.

12. For with the knowledge that such influences prompt the emotions that arise in their experiences in the present, the choice becomes rather a matter of what the ideal of each is.

13. There has been given what may be said to be a pattern, or that from which they each may gather that lesson upon which they each may make their choice.

14. When others condemned her, that was taken in adultery, did He - the Master, the Maker of all that is - condemn? No. Rather gave He, "Neither do I condemn thee - but SIN no more!"

15. Again we may find the same given by Him, or as said respecting Him: "WHO art thou to judge thy brother?"

16. Rather let that which IS the spirit of truth and of good consciousness direct thee in thy choice.

17. Hence the period in the experience comes when they each must make a choice within themselves from a DIFFERENT emotion. They each must sacrifice - yes, each must CRUCIFY - desires that are prompted ONLY by either self-sacrifice OR self-indulgence!

18. For as He hath given, rather doth the Lord seek that love and service be shown than that one offer sacrifice, or burnt offerings.

19. For the love of the Father, that is manifested in the Son, SHOULD be the ideal of each.

20. Then, let each so analyze those that have been the promptings that have brought about the basis of the associations through the experience.

21. For remember, as He gave, there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother; yea, a friend that would lay down his very life that another might know the way of truth - and life.

22. There is no condemnation in the Father; rather love - that they each may find their way.

23. And thus He calls on all.

24. What were the material activities in that period?

25. We find that in the experiences circumstances, conditions, bring about what would be called - by some - lack of discretion. Yet the very circumstances brought about the answering of that within each that needed

1173-11 Page 3

gratification.

26. What are the promptings of same? In the body - yes, and of the earth-earthy. Yet spiritualized in the direct reactions these become the very natures through which there is procreation and through which there is the giving of the opportunities, the channels through which the very forces of heaven - or hell - may take hold and become manifestations in the material plane.

27. These were the circumstances, as we find from their records here.

28. Ready for questions.

29. (Q) What is the urge that comes over into the present to [1483] from that relationship? (A) As just indicated, that of POSSESSION!

30. (Q) How should she meet it in the present? (A) The choice must be made as to that she holds as the ideal of relationships, as has been indicated. This must depend upon whether there is to be again the gratifying of those longings for things that arise from purely material or self-satisfying urges, or the glorifying of urges from the spiritual source that may be wholly in keeping with the words of the Lord.

31. (Q) What is the urge that comes over into the present to [1173] from that relationship? (A) As given, that of protection. And, as has been indicated, the choice must be made from what is the ideal; as to whether, again, there is to be the satisfying for MATERIAL protection or for spiritual assurance.

32. (Q) Through what personal relationship in the present may these two lives best fulfilltheir highest spiritual unfoldment? (A) In friendship.

33. (Q) Is there another with whom [1483] could be as happy, or happier, in marriage, than with [1173]? (A) There are acquaintances, as we find, those associations in the material, and relations that have been established that could make opportunities for SERVICES - as has been given in which much might be met, much overcome, in the activities of this experience. These are known, and choices should be made in self.

34. (Q) Can you name any of these? (A) We could name three, but we wouldn't! There must be choice in SELF, NOT from here!

35. (Q) Please explain, if possible, why Moon Trail

1173-11 Page 4

insisted, through his trance medium Horace Hambling of England, that it was correct for [1173] and [1483] to marry? (A) Because that entity who was a friend of [1173] is working through Hambling, directed by Moon Trail, the KEEPER of those influences. And as these were the activities more in keeping with the material laws of that entity during that experience, is it any wonder that there is seen or interpreted that these should POSITIVELY BE - for their better satisfying of the material desires of each? Yet as we find, if such were consummated, it would become a BURDEN upon each. Because of that material association of the entity then, directed by the seer, the great medicine man, Moon Trail.

36. (Q) Has [1173]'s mistakes in their relationship been such that they can be worked out only in marriage? (A) The choice must be within self. As we have given, these are the conditions. Remember, as has been given from the beginnings, the Father - God - hath given to the sons of men that attribute of will, or choice. And there is set before each that of which each may partake, that of which each may NOT partake. These as manifested in the Christ, as shown in Jesus' activity, may be REMEMBERED no more - in ACTIVE service as He gave, "SIN NO MORE!" This becomes then the choice, the will, of each.

37. (Q) Please explain what you mean in saying "Whether there are others with whom there is more to be worked out is a question." (A) These become, then, those influences which are each relative as one to another. And in each association, whether this is taken from the choices that are made by [1173] or whether they are the choices made by [1483], these become buildings or retardings dependent upon the activities in the associations with others. If EITHER, through the very urges of the experience and the knowledge of same, were to become guilty of same again, would not their problems in their experience become then in their associations with others? They each are faced with THEMSELVES! It is nothing but themselves they are faced with!

1173-11 Page 5

Then what will they do about same in relationship to THEIR ideal, FORGETTING self and self's own desire!

38. (Q) Is there any general standard by which individuals should measure their motives for marriage? (A) There are many GENERAL standards. The purposeful one should ever be this: There should be sought as to whether the relationships between those of opposite sex are for a united, cooperative service to a living God and of a spiritual prompting, or are they prompted by material desires? If they are prompted by that which has so oft been true - as of convenience, or for only the beauty of the body or of the companionship physical - these must become palls one upon the other. Then the standard would be as He hath given: There must be the ANSWERING within each that their SPIRITUAL and MENTAL desires are ONE! For the Lord thy God is One. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
