Time of Reading 11:55 to 12:10 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we find the body here, [1176].
2. As we find, the disturbing forces affect the body in almost as much of a mental way and manner as is outwardly indicated physically. Yet as we find the physical conditions are the cause, while the mental reactions and the activities of the body are as the results of same.
3. The body is under those stresses and strains as we find not only from the changes that have been apparent in the system through the repressions at times that have existed in the organs of the pelvis, but from those conditions which congestion makes upon the organs that were and are of the pelvic organs themselves. Thus we find that these pressures produced by these are the cause of the violent headaches, the insomnia, the inability for the body to rest as it should, the conditions that appear as irritations under the skin in the superficial circulation on parts of the body, the upset condition from the inability to digest or to become the more active in the activities in which the body has been able to engage its active forces.
4. As we find, while operative measures might eventually become necessary, under the existent conditions and unless a great many corrections were made, we would find these would be rather as greater destructive forces in the immediate than the strains which exist in the present.
5. Then, as we would find, first we would NOT begin with what may be termed the regular osteopathic adjustments but with rather the massages that will make for a quieting of the nerve forces of the body. Give such a massage each day. The nurse should be the one to give the massage you see, which should be all along the spine, over the ovarian areas, over the liver areas, over the abdomen and the limbs. Following such a massage we would have a rubdown with oils over the same areas, with a combination prepared in this manner:

6. To 2 ounces of Russian White Oil add, in the order named: Pure Olive Oil..............1 ounce, Cedar Wood Oil..............1 ounce, Oil of Wintergreen..........1 ounce, Oil of Sassafras Root.....1/3 ounce. Shake these ingredients well together before massaging, for they will tend to separate. Pour a small quantity into a saucer and massage into the body, FOLLOWING the general massage as indicated, just what will be absorbed. It may be necessary that there be a sponging or bathing off afterwards, to meet the needs of the body. Do not just rub the oils into the body, but have the thorough massage FIRST - as indicated.
7. Also we would use the currents from the low electrical vibration of the Wet Cell Appliance, carrying Atomidine (atomic iodine) in its regular commercial strength THROUGH the body. The attachments would be made as follows:
8. The first two days, the smaller plate would be attached first, upon the 4th lumbar, while the larger plate would be attached last, over the area under or over the left ovarian center, see? for thirty minutes, on each of the two days.
9. The next two days, the smaller plate would be attached first upon the 4th lumbar, while the larger plate attached last would be over the right ovarian center, see? for thirty minutes on each of the two days.
10. Then leave same off for one day.
11. Then on the next day this is used, (the fifth day of application, you see) the smaller plate would be attached first to the 9th dorsal, while the larger plate would be attached last to the umbilicus and lacteal duct center - or that area between the umbilicus plexus or the navel and the right side, or over the gall duct AND lacteal duct center, see? We would use in this manner for thirty minutes each day then for the rest of the period until further suggestions are made.
12. After the massage and the appliance treatments have been continued for fifteen days, as indicated, we would then give further instructions.
13. Keep a diet that is rather easily assimilated, though do not make for a great antagonistic reaction for the body in these directions; rather through suggestions as would be given.
14. But do these for fifteen days, and then we will give further instructions.
15. Ready for questions.

16. (Q) What should the diet be? (A) As indicated, that which is the more easily assimilated by the body. But do not RILE the body by insisting on this or that! For it has sufficient disturbances through the mental as well as the physical forces. To make the body REST or sleep better, the Radio-Active Appliance given each day when the body is prepared for retiring, for an hour, will be most helpful. Make the attachments to the extremities of the body, in the regular order or manner; right wrist, left ankle, alternated. Keep the anodes on both Appliances clear. Keep the charge full. In fifteen days we would give further instructions.
17. We are through for the present. Copy to Mr. [...], Special Delivery (according to his phone request this morning) Two copies (one for Self and one for husband) Copy to Ass'n file (See letters [which were enclosed] to H.H.R. Corp. with directions for preparing the Wet Cell and Radio-Active Appliances. See letter [which was enclosed] with directions to Masseuse or Nurse. Let us know when the treatments have been followed AS indicated for fifteen days, so we may make an appointment for a Check Reading to give further instructions.)
