1. EC: Yes, we have the records here of that entity now known as or called [1182].
2. In entering the present experience we find there are those influences from astrological sojourns as well as the experiences in the earth that have their influence upon the emotions, the impelling influences in the make-up of the individual.
3. Not alone then from maternal hereditary forces or from purely environs. While outward appearances may make for changes in these directions, that innate and that manifested within the urges from within the system arise from those experiences of the soul-entity in the earth and the environs of same.
4. The astrological influences are urges rather than an impelling force; for the WILL of an entity or soul may change any of those impelling influences - as it may change its environment, as it may change those influences that arise in the experience.
5. Then there naturally arises the question in the mind of the entity. For it, the entity, from its experiences is naturally an analyst, a seeker, a searcher for the causes. And had the entity been a man it no doubt would have been an inventor.
6. In this seeking then, the question arises, what produces the variations or the turmoils that arise within self that apparently come from nowhere, and oft the activities of the entity and its desires as respecting same apparently LEAD nowhere?
7. Whence then are these urges?
8. These arise from that with which the soul has satisfied itself as respecting that it, the soul, has THROUGHOUT its
1182-1 Page 2
experiences in a consciousness done about that it holds as its ideal!
9. To be sure individuals in a material experience are governed oft in circumstance or by what others think. And the entity has at times found, as the experience is in the present, that what OTHERS thought - or what may be the moral, the religious tendencies of the public or the people as a whole - and that the ENTITY has held, does hold as its ideal, are quite at variance.
10. Hence when an entity, a soul, acts in its relationships to individuals, circumstances, conditions that arise in the experience that ARE at variance to its ideal, the natural result is confusion.
11. What then is an ideal for an entity? By what measure is it to be meted?
12. That which is truth, that which is ideal in the experience of each soul, is that which is a continued development towards that which is of CONSTRUCTIVE nature in the experience.
13. This then should be in the experience of the entity held as that goal, that position, that understanding. Not as impelling others by a tirade, as by speech, but by so living, by so acting that those things, those conditions, those experiences are expressed in such ways and manners that others seeing, others experiencing that which the entity has done, does do about its experience with its ideal, become aware of a living ensample, a living example unto others.
14. It is not what one knows that counts, but what one does about that it knows! Then it is the application of these attributes to which this soul, each soul, must adhere - to prevent confusion, to bring about harmony, to bring about not gratifying at all times but contentment in the experience; that first of sincerity of purpose, that of longsuffering with others, that of patience with self, that of understanding of others' viewpoints - and seeing thyself as others see thee in the light of that thou proclaimest to others that thou believest.
15. These are as the tests, not only to self but to those to whom, with whom the entity may converse or be associated in its activities.
16. In the astrological forces we find Jupiter, Mercury, in the benevolent influences. Hence the high moral effect of associations with large numbers of peoples, that is impelled upon the expression of the entity. This though of itself at times becomes confusing; for Venus we find rather as an adverse influence in those experiences in relationships to
1182-1 Page 3
individuals UNDER certain environs.
17. These then are the astrological forces, that we find are rather unusual. Mars is rather not an adverse influence, not benevolent, but the mystery force or influence in the experiences of the entity.
18. For Mars represents and is the influence that makes for urges within the innate forces of anger, madness, wrath, strength, endurance. And these then in their more benevolent or expressive ways have brought, will bring, the interesting experiences, provided these are looked upon rather as stepping-stones and helpful experiences than those that make for the shortcomings.
19. Hindrances should not create in the experience of the entity, then, the expressions from self of indifference or of grudges or of hate; for these are of those influences and forces that wreck, ruin, and bring dissension and strife, and those things that make the heart of men afraid.
20. As to the appearances in the earth, these as we find are of most interesting experiences and yet quite varied in their aspects of material development, from those angles of position, of power, of influence, when the entity COMPARES same to the present experience. But each has been, each WILL be, the opportunities for self-expression, but self-expression OF a spiritual relationship to the Creative Forces; rather than the opportunities for self-expression for own indulgences, own glorifications or own position of fame or fortune or the like - for these are earthy and they canker and they decay and they make the heart sad.
21. In the experience then before this we find the entity was among those early peoples of the land of the present nativity, or birth; among those that were called the entity's peoples, but during those periods when there were the changes, the interlude or relationships established among those peoples and those of other lands.
22. The entity then was associated and enjoined with one Radcliffe [?]; being then in the name of what would be transposed as Susan, or the "Little Sunset."
23. In the experience the entity gained much in becoming what would be interpreted today as an understander of the personalities of people. For the entity gained in its ability to bring harmony and peace, to bring the establishing of closer relationships of a helpful nature, in aiding those peoples through the hardships of the frontier lands - as would be termed.
24. Hence in the present experience the abilities for the improvement of relationships of individuals for their associations as one with another become as a natural
1182-1 Page 4
instinct, or as in those relationships of any nature that tend toward the beautifying of body, beautifying of home, beautifying of surroundings. All of these become as innate; and manifested in the experiences of the entity in its associations and dealings with its fellow man, in connection with and coordinating with those principles or ideals that should be the basis of every individual's activity; that become materially gratifying, mentally satisfying, spiritually developing.
25. Before that we find the entity was in that land now known as the Roman, during those periods when there were the returnings of the soldiery, the returning of individual groups from other lands that brought the periods when relationships were being established or studied, in coordination with the teachings of varied teachers.
26. The entity then was in a position of power, in the Romans' experience. For it was among those of the household of a counsellor to Augustus Caesar, in the name Praepontia. And as there became the understandings of those experiences of a peoples from the Judean or the Holy Land or the Palestine land, these brought to the entity a study also of the Persians' experiences.
27. Hence those things that pertain to religion as to its FOUNDATION and its correlating with the arts of other nations, the various experiences, become as an interesting factor in the entity's activities in the present.
28. Hence astrology, numerology, Sanskrit, the findings of those that delve into the mysteries of nature in ALL its forms become as a portion of the entity's experience.
29. As to the development, this remained rather of the secular nature, yet those very experiences applied in the present may make for a step forward in knowing that all power that manifests in a material world arises from one source and is the expression of a Creative Energy. And those that usurp authority or those that turn same into that of self-indulgence or aggrandizement do so to their OWN undoing.
30. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as or called the Indian, during those periods when there were the wars in the hills and in the plains, when there had come down from the mountains of hope to the plains of the Indian land those peoples.
31. During the turmoils the entity was among those of the southern Indian portion, and with those establishings of the leader or the teacher Saneid, the entity then became one who not only accepted those tenets as precepts but made them become livable experiences.
1182-1 Page 5
32. With the correlating of ideas by the gatherings of peoples for their own protection to the various groups because of the great animal kingdom, the entity was active.
33. Hence the entity's adverse feelings in the present toward certain types of animals, yet the drawing to others in the manners in which the associations may make for helpful forces in the experiences of men as they go about that development of their own home or fireside conveniences.
34. Hence we find the artist temperament in respects to the out of doors; and the oak and the mangrove and the living or live oak become as a thing of beauty to the entity - and represent that sturdiness, that of a surety in the very experience of same.
35. The name then was Anusai, or - if translated the meaning would become - "the Beloved of Saneid."
36. Before that we find the entity was in the land now known as or called the Egyptian, during those periods when turmoils and strifes arose, when the rebellions arose between the ones of the king's own household, at the period of the banishment of the priest.
37. The entity then joined with those of the Ibex rebellion. Yet when there had come the understanding in the latter portion of its experience and sojourn, with the return of the priest, with the correlating of the peoples' experiences from the Atlantean land, the entity then aided in those activities that made for its quick return into the land as has just been shown.
38. The entity then was beautiful of body, beautiful of mind; yet these owing to those relationships with those in the rebellious forces brought experiences that made for many disturbing factors in the experience of the entity - even in the present.
39. Yet with those periods of cleansing of body, preparation for activities in the material affairs, separating from the animal forces and influences, there came that which made in the latter days for a period of service to those peoples - especially in the capacity of what would be termed in the present as the nurse, the teacher, the instructor to those of the young, to those in teen ages, to those who were troubled with the experience of balancing and correlating their lives.
40. In the name then of Icts-us, the entity made for such experience and expression that those periods of the preservation, development and activity of the entity's sojourn then are still preserved in the halls of record there.
41. As to the abilities of the entity and that to which it
1182-1 Page 6
may attain and how in the present:
42. Study first to show thyself approved unto that spiritual force from within, that directs; not as a consciousness alone, not as to 'What will others say?' but open thy mind, thy heart, to the spiritual forces from within, that there may be a quickening of the abilities of the self to aid others in INTERPRETING their life. Or in those fields of activity wherein the preparation of the body, the preparation of activities of individuals for specific or special service may be a part of thine own experience.
43. Ready for questions.
44. (Q) How and with whom could I get in touch, in order to get my song produced? (A) In any of those channels that make for the preparation of such in THEIR developing same for its use in those fields to which its development, its preparation, is particularly adapted. See? Those things that are for the everyday or to arouse certain emotions would not be those that would be for your character of development. Or to that that has arisen from the T. H. Harris Company.
45. (Q) Shall I apply there? (A) Apply there.
46. (Q) What is my vocation? (A) That of the helpfulness as has been indicated to others in their preparation of themselves in body and mind for specific work.
47. (Q) Will there be a change in my work for more money? (A) Be a change.
