1. EC: Yes.
2. As we find, conditions are continuing to improve.
3. While there must still be precautions taken, that there is not a great deal of strain or activity that requires physical exertion of a great amount as yet, it would be well that some activity be begun - though the conditions require some activity, it should be in a precautionary way and manner.
4. The rubs, the manipulations, may be kept as is necessary. The manipulations may be farther and farther apart, or as circumstances require.
5. But as we find, if there is a good GENERAL OSTEOPATHIC adjustment today, it would be the last of the week before another would be necessary. In the adjustments osteopathically, we would have circular forces in the lumbar and sacral area; not too deep but circular forces, and in the 4th lumbar a portion of the condition which exists there is a basic weakness. Correlate same, when these areas have been gradually relaxed (which will be found to the left side of the segment, upper portion of the 4th lumbar), with the lower portion of the 9th dorsal to the RIGHT side, by holding same; that is, if each point is held for a few minutes it will relax and make for an equalization in the distributing of the energies from these plexus. Hold the two points at the same time, you see.
6. Also we would now, from the base of the brain massage downward - away from the head, to the upper dorsal centers, either side of the cerebrospinal system more than in the centers of same - or along the sympathetic or vegetative system.
7. After such an adjustment and treatment, coordinate the 9th dorsal center or plexus from the RIGHT side of same to the lower left side of the brachial - or the 2nd and 3rd

dorsal center, in the same manner as that from the 9th to the lumbar axis.
8. In the manner of the diets, necessary - as we find - that there be considered that there should be more strengthening food, yet keep the feeding not too much but rather the more often.
9. As we find, such as a coddled egg with toast as the morning meal; alternated at times with whole wheat cereal or with fruit juices, though do not have the cereals AND the citrus fruits at the same meal - or even on the same day. If one is taken one day, take the other the next. Fruit juices may be taken in the afternoon of the same day, as pineapple juice or the like. But oranges, lemons, grapefruit - do not take these with cereals or on the same day; let at least there be four to eight hours difference between their taking. For to take those that are acid and alkalin reacting, and to take any food values as of cereals with the citrus fruit juices, defeats the purpose and creates an acid-producing reaction in the system that's not good.
10. Vegetable juices, and a little of the vegetables. Fowl, if it is well cooked AS a broth - or the broth of same with the meat WELL cooked as with noodles or the like.
11. Have more of the starches, but keep a balance between same and the proteins as would be with those of such meats with same, see?
12. Fruit juices, vegetable juices in between; beef juice itself WELL PREPARED, no fat in same, this sipped occasionally, with a Graham Cracker. Have this well seasoned with salt; not too saline, to be sure, but these are necessary for the creating of blood supply - not as to overtax, but to supply the elements, the nutriments that will create the plasm in the blood stream that makes more perfect coagulation.
13. Farther and farther apart take the tablets that are to make for pressure. Let NATURE, or the body itself, attempt to do the adjusting.
14. Ready for questions.
15. (Q) When should the Mutton Tallow rub be used? (A) When the body is ready for retiring of evening. Or, as indicated, when there are pains or distresses use the other rub at times.
16. (Q) Have these been given right? (A) Very good.
17. (Q) Just how active may the body be? (A) Let the BODY'S inclination rather direct; but prevent the body from lifting, from pushing or moving around things

that are heavy, see? These are the greater precautions. Moving about or walking or sitting up this will come gradually; but should in a few days be able to move about. But the greater precautions taken for the next three, four to five days, the greater period or longer time will be between the recurrent distresses.
18. (Q) Then it would be best that she remain in bed - for how long? (A) How long does she want to remain in bed? Remember, there are those reactions also to be considered. Many's the day since there has been such care or attention for the body. Remember the psychological effect. These should not be as repellent; but the body enjoys being waited on - as is natural for ANY inclination that has hungered much for attention and had little.
19. (Q) What precautions should be taken to keep feet warm, when the body is allowed to get up? (A) Just keep them warm and dry.
20. (Q) Should raw vegetables be taken yet? (A) Let that be about Wednesday or Thursday, provided the other more stable foods are begun - or those that are semi-liquid and that are the soft foods. Let these conditions come naturally. If these react properly, then gradually these will come.
21. (Q) Should she have corn bread? (A) If corn bread is prepared properly, WITH buttermilk it would be fine! Scalded corn bread, or egg corn bread; not just made up with water or even with milk unless egg is with same.
22. We are through for the present. Copy to Miss [288] (for Mrs. [934] to show to Dr. Taylor) " " Mr. [641] " " Dr. Gena Crews
