Time of Reading 11:20 to 11:50 A. M. Eastern Daylight Savings Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1190].
2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions that bring about those periods when there are reactions that are very unsatisfactory in the physical forces of the body.
3. While the disturbances are in the most periods, as we find, localized; yet the general condition should be taken into consideration, especially in making the applications for those influences that may make for the more helpful conditions - or bring about a normalcy.
4. As conditions are in the general a development in the physical forces, the physical structural forces, and changes are apparent in the mental, the physical and the gradual growths throughout the body, all of these should be taken into consideration in making the application for helpful influences or forces for the body.
5. These, then, are disturbances as we find with this body, [1190] we are speaking of:
6. THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this indicates there have been and are disturbances in the eliminations of the body. These then arise from not forces of a disturbed circulation but the CAUSES of the disturbances arise from a condition in the caecum and in the area about those portions of the connections between the eliminating channels, or through the alimentary canal. So, there is the lack of the proper reaction in the system.
7. It is held by some that all of these conditions are not necessary, yet we will find that there will arise, periods do arise - when operative forces are resorted to - even when it becomes necessary for the removal of strangulation or removal of those conditions that would in a manner produce destructive forces by conditions arising; yet these leave upon the system disturbing forces that become detrimental.
1190-1 Page 2
8. If these can then be avoided the better, provided these may be to become normal in their activity and thus allowing same to perform the proper function in association with ALL portions of the system itself.
9. IN THE NERVE FORCES OF THE BODY, here we find, as it were, the basis or the causes incidentary to producing first a lack of circulation through the right portion of the body, in the appendiceal area, in the caecum through portions of the ileum plexus. So there would be found at times previously when there were spots or portions on the body that were cold, or the lack of the proper circulation. When these reactions come to the activity which has been produced, we find these affect directly the assimilating system or the digestive force; nausea, pains in the right portion, at times pains across even the left portion; and these have been producing and do produce disturbing forces.
10. THEN, IN THE ACTIVITY OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, naturally the reactions to the whole nervous force of the body have made and do make for the periods when there are not or have not been the proper coordinations or reflexes in the coordination between the responses of suggestive forces to the body and the mental reactions to the body. These are natural conditions that arise from this incoordination produced by pressure upon glandular forces, upon organs themselves, by the hindrance of disturbances in the bodily functions.
11. We may find throughout the nerve forces and the circulations in the head, the throat, the bronchi and larynx, sympathetic conditions and that tendency for the body to easily contract or to be subject to colds or congestions in the mucous membranes of the throat. Yet if the CAUSES are removed, and the effects also treated that have been created, we would find that these disturbances would disappear and a balance be created from the conditions existing in the cerebrospinal system form which the impulse comes for those first disturbances that have gradually grown to become neurotic in their reaction.
12. The lungs, the larynx, the heart's activity - only under those disturbing forces do these show for any conditions that are not normal.
13. Digestive forces become very much disturbed by the conditions that arise at times from acute conditions in the area as indicated.
14. Those centers in the cerebrospinal system from which the impulses arise that first produced the disturbance are in the 8th and the 11th dorsal area; these might be said to be at the upper and the lower portion of the solar plexus
1190-1 Page 3
center in the cerebrospinal system itself.
15. Then, in the activity through the alimentary canal and conditions as produced there, stoppages occur and there is the tendency for inflammation that arises and temperature that comes at times from these conditions; thus producing an increase of flow of the lymph circulation to cause a greater reaction.
16. IN MEETING, THEN, THE NEEDS OF THE CONDITIONS AS WE WOULD FIND THAT WOULD BE THE MORE HELPFUL:
17. First, SHOULD there continue to be periods when inflammation or temperature arises to such an extent that this may not be controlled by the producing of eliminations through the alimentary canal, necessary for the operative measures to be resorted to.
18. As we find, though, if there are the applications of those influences that create their activity upon the nerve forces with the changing or releasing of those pressures, these should be cleansed from the system and those disturbances in all portions of the body be eliminated in such measures that normalcy in its activity through these - with the gradual building up of the general system - should bring better conditions for this body.
19. Then, we would make these applications:
20. First, we would have those periods of rest for the body in which there would be made an application of a combination of one part Aconite and five parts Tincture of Opium. Use this solution for painting those portions from the caecum to the lower portions of the liver area itself.
21. Then (over the area thus painted) we would apply the Epsom Salts Packs to relax the whole portion of the body. These should be applied for at least an hour or an hour and a half at a time, during a whole day at a time; that is, with an hour to two hours between each period of the applications - but rest during the whole day these are given. These are to create in the area a relaxing, and are - of course - to be applied hot. But the application or painting with the Aconite and Opium solution would only be applied ONCE during the day, you see - before the Packs are begun; just painted - not rubbed on.
22. Following the day of the Packs, we would administer - under the directions of those that may administer internal medical forces - small doses of that combination called Simmons' Liver Regulator, PREFERABLY in the powdered form, for the cleansing of the caecum, the ileum areas, from the inflammation.
23. Then there should be a rest period of at least three or four days, and then another day when these all would be
1190-1 Page 4
given. These are for the effects created; while for the causes, we would begin the Osteopathic treatments as we will indicate.
24. During such periods, to be sure, let the diets be in accord with that which would keep STRENGTH, yet that would make for the tendency for creating of flows of the gastric juices of the whole system.
25. And, we would eliminate the causes by beginning IMMEDIATELY with the corrections OSTEOPATHICALLY to remove those pressures in the area of the cerebrospinal system; from the 4th lumbar to the lower portion of the upper cervical area, making specific corrections in the 11th and 8th dorsal centers. These should be in the beginning about three times a week. And we should find that these would be for three weeks, or nine treatments, then a rest period of a week and then - in less than thirty days these should ALL be eliminated from the system.
26. Do these, and we will find we will bring the bettered conditions for this body.
27. Ready for questions.
28. (Q) Why is he never content? (A) When there is, as indicated, a pressure upon the nervous system that makes for the tendency for incoordination between impulses and activity, it naturally makes for that effect of being never satisfied in those conditions that may be surrounding the body, see? It is a natural result, then, of incoordination of impulse - and that that would carry out the influences. For as may be seen, that which the body desires - as soon a it has it, that wasn't what was desired at all!
29. (Q) Why doesn't he enjoy playing with other boys? (A) The same reaction, you see. For the desires as created by the nerve impulses make for radical changes in the reflex action TO associations.
30. (Q) Should he be given music, dramatic or other study pertaining to show business or music? (A) Any of those influences that tend to make for a dramatic experience, after the body is normal - not while it is under these stresses - would be in keeping with those influences that we find about the body, and in its DEVELOPING mind.
31. (Q) Why does his only interest center around movies? (A) Give him the opportunity and he will show you! These are for the abilities that INNATELY are felt. And these may be found or described MOST from those experiences
1190-1 Page 5
through which the soul-entity has passed.
32. (Q) Are the injections he is getting doing him any good? (A) These do at times, you see. But the causes of these, as we find, need to be removed. For, as indicated in the applications, there are the applications for the effects that have been created. There are applications for those that have first CAUSED conditions. Thus we will produce, as was indicated in the first, a coordination throughout the whole of the physical and mental reactions of the body. These, then, are only allaying (the injections), with the hope that the effect of these will be either to make for a throwing off of these disturbing forces or for a localization of same. However, if localized and operative forces were to remove the disturbing member, the causes would still remain - and would NEVER create in the experience of the body the whole mental coordination with the physical and mental abilities of the body itself! Hence we would make rather those applications as suggested. And these done, we may bring the normal activity and give the bodily functions better coordination and give the opportunities for the mental and spiritual development. As should be remembered by all, though one may maintain a physical body near to normal, unless it is for a purpose other than for self-aggrandizement, how little has the soul gained?
33. (Q) What does his attachment to a little girl friend signify? (A) These again would be seen or found more from the mental and spiritual angle; that of a normal development of the bodily and mental and spiritual forces, for the opposite sex, in the nominal, normal, healthy relationships.
34. (Q) Has the boy any abnormal tendencies? (A) To say Yes would be true, to say No would also be true. For the body and the mental efficiencies of the body are under strain from pressures that DO NOT allow PROPER function of the glands and the secretions of the body. Give the body an OPPORTUNITY and see these conditions clarify.
35. (Q) Should the boy be sent to a private school? (A) This will depend upon those conditions as must be developed between now and those periods when normalcy in the PHYSICAL forces will be created. Then, dependent upon that as created by the surrounding
1190-1 Page 6
influences of the body, as to what it will do WITH its abilities. Do those things as indicated, and we will find a greater experience for the body. Then there may be given, through the experiences of the entity as a whole in the earth, as to the CONDUCT of its life-experience for the greater mental, spiritual and material development.
