Time of Reading 5:15 to 6:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Body and enquiring mind, who seeks information, advice and guidance as to her mental and material affairs, for future security for herself and child. Ques.)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body, the enquiring mind, [Mrs. [1192]], this we have had before; some associations, some relations in the mental and the material associations.

2. In giving that as we find may be helpful in the experience, while patience and fortitude and strength in the physical and material and mental self is constantly under stress and strain, know that only those who endure unto the end are counted as the faithful to the trust, to the opportunities, to those conditions that become a part of every soul's experience.

3. While the things of material become necessary, they are to those that see only the material side of experience necessary, these are but temporal. And those things that cannot be bought with a price become more and more dear to the hearts and minds of those that seek to know God's ways. And these are not past finding out to any. For He is not far away, He is not beyond the skies nor over the seas, but in thine own heart - ye may find him.

4. Ready for questions.

5. (Q) Should [758]'s Wet Cell Appliance treatments, carrying Gold and Camphor, be continued as they have been suggested? (A) These, as we find, if they had been held to, would have created quite different vibrations in the body. These as we find should never, by those applying same, by those who would have them or insist that they be administered, be looked upon as just things to be done. For they become part and parcel of that which will, with the body-development, bring an attunement to the vibratory forces of the whole system into coordinant and cooperative activity. These should be, not as would be said religiously done - for so oft our religion is only religion and not heart-felt nor

1192-7 Page 2

purposeful - but should be applied as if every single application is performing a definite experience, a condition in the development of the body. Keep the solutions at their normal strength, keep the plates or the anodes cleansed; and we will find this will bring greater and greater helpful influences in the experience of the body.

6. (Q) Would once a week be sufficient for his osteopathic treatments? (A) As we find, if these are done properly, once a week should be the better - and even these after a period of three to six weeks should be left off for a period of two to three weeks, and then begun again. For as in every application, no mechanical means, no medicinal properties ever make for curatives - they only attune the body in such measures as to produce proper distribution of assimilations and coordination of every reflex condition. Unless administrations of whatever nature they may be, produce such - they are as naught. Once a week then, but keep these regularly - and have the regular rest periods, and the regular beginning periods.

7. (Q) Should they be given in the same manner as suggested? (A) Loosening the lumbar and sacral rather than the stimulation in the upper dorsal and cervical, as has been so oft given for this body, makes for and produces that which is the more helpful for the body.

8. (Q) What can I do to make my husband, [417], realize his great obligation and responsibility to his child as well as myself? (A) These become problems that are dealing with individual entities, individual developments. That they each have their own ideals and either conform to same or drift, becomes apparent. When the periods come in the experience of each soul that the associations are unbearable, as to become hindrances to their keeping their OWN ideal, then to awaken or to attune or to change, or to alter those associations becomes necessary. But each should look into their OWN consciousnesses. Each should answer that which has been given as from old, "Today is set before thee good and evil, life and death." These should be then counseled, not in fury, not grudgingly, not in hate nor in condemnation. For that we condemn in another WE must meet in our own selves. For God is not mocked, and whatsoever a soul soweth that it MUST reap.

1192-7 Page 3

That our ideals are not of the same is apparent to all; and while man may oft look upon the outward appearance, God judgeth from the heart and from the purpose of every act, every word, every desire. Then, we would counsel together, as to the obligations, the duties, the disturbances, the hopes, the disappointments, the shadows - the brightness that has been should be held rather than the darkness that may bring even greater fear and doubt. But in prayerful meditation counsel within self as to the approach; not stern, not just forgiving without a purposefulness, but in love, in simplicity, state, give thine own feelings, thine own desires, and see if they coordinate or cooperate with the purposes and desires that may be stated by him. If these are so far then that they may not be drawn sufficiently together for a purposeful life, well that changes be. But in the heart, in the soul of [417] there is that which is seeking and is losing its way. The FEAR is being overshadowed by a determination to put the trust rather in material things. Then only in prayer, only in love may there be brought to the consciousness of the entity that great love, that forbearance, that patience that is the basis of this great soul. For it has suffered, it does suffer, and yet the outward appearance makes for those activities in which there is doubted even by those nearest and dearest that there is a thought even of the morrow, much less of years to come or of eternity - that in which each soul and body, by contacts of the day and the hour, is building towards - or building its place in same. Then in love, then in patience, then in counselling, but in a positive manner. But first look into thine own conscience. Condemn not that which is thy brother's mote, or that which is in thy brother's eye, lest there comes that day when ye meet thine own conscience, thine own self. But in love, in patience, reason together. For his soul is great in the eyes of his

1192-7 Page 4

Maker, for his love and his patience and his labors in the experiences in the earth are far, far afield from that seen in the acts and the deeds of today. Yet thou may indeed hold, thou may indeed at least offer the opportunity and the way for that awakening - and not from without may it come, but from within!

9. (Q) How can I secure a future for my child and myself? (A) The best, as has been indicated, is in the possible awakening of or in thy companion the abilities, the goodness, the nobleness that is indeed there - if it will but be aroused to those possibilities, those opportunities that are before him. These make for the greater security. If these fail, then trust in Him only - that in the Giver of all good and perfect gifts. And in thy daily conversation, in thy daily acts with thy fellow man, show forth by same where thy trust, thy faith hath been put. For to claim or to act in one way and then to think or feel or say unkind things makes ALL null and void. For if ye would have love, be lovely. If ye would have friends, be friendly. If ye would have faith, show it. And as is the LAW, it WILL come back to thee! This is the greater security for self, for son. For thou art indeed God's children, and he hath given and does give His love each day. Then show in thy love, in thy patience, even in thy longsuffering, the appreciations of that love. For He does not fail those that trust in Him. For He hath given from the beginning, "Be my child and I will be thy God."

10. (Q) Would changing [417]'s associations and surroundings awaken him? (A) Rather as has been given, it must be an arousing within that will change the surroundings, the environs, the outlook, the desires, the hopes. For it is FEAR of the present AND the future, and the attempts to produce within the very activities that which would justify self in things said and done.

11. (Q) Would a reading for him be advisable? (A) If he would seek same, if he would listen to same, would be excellent!

12. (Q) Would it be advisable for me to go to work now, for

1192-7 Page 5

financial remuneration? (A) Not until at least there has been - not once but again and again - the attempt to arouse within him that LOVELINESS that is there. For this then would only become an excuse, a contention - UNLESS this is aroused.

13. (Q) Am I capable enough to apply for a buyer's position? for the spring season? (A) Capable, and efficient. But there must be SO MUCH shut out of the life in doing same, is the body sufficiently strong to stand the strain of self at times condemning? Is the body sufficiently strong that it does not in some manners defeat the very purposes? For the loveliness of self, then, for the graciousness of thy trust thou hast had, open HIS heart!

14. (Q) With the new World's Fair in preparation in Queens, would there be any opportunity open for [417]? (A) These will become rather as of political associations as we find, and if there are connections and associations made in this direction, these might be accomplished. But as to whether that this would not be leading in the same directions of the selfishness of fear becomes a question. But these as we find might be through old associations in these directions be made to be fruitful in the MATERIAL way.

15. (Q) Would Albert J. Berwin, appraiser, be of help to me in a business way? If so, how should I approach him? (A) In the way and manner that there is a perfect understanding of the needs and of the conditions that exist, WHEN there is the determining as to just what these relations or needs are. And as we find, that entity may be of material help in WHATEVER way or manner help is sought by the body.

16. (Q) Regarding my American Tel & Tel stock, should I exchange this for anything that would be suggested, for [[758]'s] future security? or should I just transfer this to his name and hold it? (A) American Tel & Tel promises to be the better holdings, unless there may be considerations in the Pan-American exchange. But for the future of [758]'s help, hold, maintain American Tel & Tel.

17. (Q) What business suggestion for [417]? (A) As we would find, that which would deal with ANY that has to do with SELLING in an OPEN or larger scale. Rather than retail, wholesale - or that where the body's

1192-7 Page 6

associations are with greater activity than the individual. Individual activity, but the effect to the masses rather than to the individual.

18. (Q) In what lines would be the more successful, or better fitted for? (A) Clothing, dresses, or wearing apparel, or coats or suits - these as we find would be the better. But the desires on the part of [417] must be altered somewhat before these can become or would become permanent activities. And these may be accomplished only in this awakening, or within self.

19. (Q) If these cannot be altered, what should I do? (A) As has been given, then leave them aside.

20. (Q) How may [257] be of assistance to me? (A) Only as advice or counsel to [417] AFTER - not before, for these would make for the wrong approach - AFTER concerted effort on the part of the body in reasoning and PRAYING with.

21. (Q) What suggestion could I give my husband, [417], to benefit him financially and otherwise, and how should I go about it? (A) In the present, be first insistent that he obtain a reading - that there may be given that to HIM as may help. Then, live with him to effect that as might be then accomplished.
