Time of Reading 11:00 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ala. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1196]; this we have had before.

2. Now as we find, there are changes and improvements in the body and in the conditions that have existed since we had this here before.

3. True, there is much yet to be desired in the corrections; that there is not a return of the effects of those conditions which exist in the lower portion of the colon, the effect that this has upon the prostate glandular system as related to the activities through the lower limbs, as well as the effect upon the digestive system and the eliminating system.

4. These then are the conditions as we find them in the present.

5. There is a better circulation. There is a better condition through the blood supply, and the activity of the eliminating system as related to the respiratory and the perspiratory system.

6. Still there are disturbances through the eliminations in the alimentary canal that naturally, with the disturbance of the nature, make for a distention in the activity of the organs about the liver, the gall duct and the like.

7. These as we find are the greater distresses. These to be sure make pressures upon the nervous system and systems.

8. Hence it is well, as has been indicated for the body, that the mental attitude as respecting disturbing conditions be considered by the self and that there be precautions or determinations within self as to making for its proper mental attitude towards disturbing conditions or towards the physical reactions in the body.

9. The effect upon the organs of the system is as has been indicated.

10. There needs to be, then, as we find in the present:

11. It is well that there be kept the use of the

1196-9 Page 2

Radio-Active Appliance to make for the toning or attuning of the circulations of the body. Do this if not every day at least three to four times a week for an hour, at the period or about the time the body is ready for retirement; or it may be taken at periods when the body desires to rest, but as it tends to make for sleep, it is well then for the body not to be so disturbed.

12. We would also use, now, occasionally - this means when there is a feeling of a slickness, or a dull taste from non-eliminations and activities through the upper portion of the alimentary canal - a Zilatone tablet.

13. Follow this with either the Eno or some light salts; that there may be a flushing of the system.

14. Keep these up occasionally, as conditions demand. Not that the body becomes as dependent upon same, but if there are the proper conditions used - that is, the combinations of the chemical reactions for stimulation of the flow; as, here, the gastric juices first in the stomach, activity of the spleen and the pancreas and the activity or flow through the action of the compound for the gall duct secretions - these as we find will eliminate the effects as we have indicated from cold, congestion; or after effects of "flu" (in times back) that have produced a weakness or a tendency of slow activity.

15. These are the conditions that called for a draining upon the alimentary canal as related to the whole course almost of the colon.

16. The prolapsus is better. This is in that area of the descending and the lower portion of the transverse.

17. But in these areas we would find that again the use of the rubs would be helpful; that is, with this combination: Mutton Tallow (dissolved)........1 ounce, Spirits of Turpentine............1 ounce, Spirits of Camphor...............1 ounce, Compound Tincture of Benzoin...1/4 ounce. Use this of an evening, gently, over the colon area especially from the prostrate to the 9th dorsal along the cerebrospinal area, and across the lower portion of the diaphragm or following the area of the colon itself. This as we find we would apply not necessarily every day but when there is the tiredness in the evening from long standing, anxiety from mental exercise and activity and worriment from the daily conditions or circumstances, these combinations are well then to be used. If this is every day, use it every day; but do not come to depend upon same; but know

1196-9 Page 3

rather that such applications only aid in creating that balance for the constructive or creative or spiritual forces that manifest through the physical body to exercise the greater.

18. These rubs would follow the use of the electrically driven vibrator. Use the cup applicator over the cerebrospinal area, you see, while the sponge applicator would be used especially over the left side of the colon - though it may be used over the whole of the abdomen.

19. When this is given, do not take it or have it given just as something to be gotten through with, but to be as exercise that will make for a helpfulness and an aid to creating the proper balance.

20. As to diets, keep close to those outlines that have been indicated; and as we find if these are used properly, conscientiously, consistently, the body will get results. That is, as this:

21. Use judgments, use discretions in the activities and in the application of those administrations indicated. There will be days, to be sure, when the body will be overly tired; there will be others when through the very necessity of change and activity the body will feel better - and this should be a part of the body's actions. DO NOT curtail social relationships or activities because of the fact that "I must hurry home to get a treatment." But rather that the treatment may be given on days to stimulate the body so that there is more of the desire for social activities for periods of this or that activity that requires the leaving off of the applications for the day; but DO NOT become discouraged - for improvements are at hand.

22. Ready for questions.

23. (Q) Should I eliminate entirely sweets and starches from my diet, as suggested in first Reading? (A) As we find, not entirely; but starches as in whole wheat or rye breads, and sweets as in any form of jellies or jams where pure sugar is used and not preservatives; or better still the only sweet used being honey and the honeycomb. These will make for change.

24. (Q) Also should I, as suggested in first Reading, confine myself to lamb alone, so far as meats are concerned? (A) As we find, as has been indicated, lamb, fowl or fish. These as we find are preferable in their variations. Fish preferably broiled or boiled than fried. Broiled is the better.

25. (Q) Should I drink plenty of water, and how many glasses each day? (A) Drink plenty of water. This as we find is most helpful

1196-9 Page 4

to the body. Six, eight, ten glasses a day.

26. (Q) What is causing the bone protuberance along my gums? (A) Irritation from poor circulation. Stimulating by the massage and the vibratory forces of the electrically driven vibrator not only will help these conditions (though they are applied to the lower parts) but if there would be a massaging of the gums with Ipsab we would find a much healthier, a much better condition in the gums.

27. (Q) There is no osteopath in ..., but there is a neuropath, also several chiropractors. I find that the chiropractic treatments afford me greater relief than the neuropathic. Should I continue to use them? Any advice to the chiropractor? (A) As is seen, these have been changed here - the treatments, you see. While it may make for self or the companion more of a close association, or require activity, these rubs properly given and the electrically driven vibrator used as indicted as we find in the present will be preferable to either; but if there are periods when there is too much heaviness in the feet, too much pain through portions of the abdomen, then for two to three days take the chiropractic adjustments - and these adjustments should be rather in the rotary motion than in the snapping motion.

28. (Q) Any further advice? (A) Do these as has been given, keeping the mental attitudes; especially the meditation and prayers during the period of the Radio-Active Appliance application, and we will find continued improvements. When Zilatone is taken, the next morning before the meal take a teaspoonful of the Eno Salt in a teaglass of water, or a tumbler of water in a teaglass, see? This will flush the system and these, as you see, (the Eno Salt properties) are the fruit variety; hence they do not drain or strain the system, and the lithia reaction is a cleansing force for the kidney action also. These would not be taken regularly, but when there is the dull feeling of fullness in the stomach, a slimy, dirty taste in the mouth, heaviness through the joints or the lower limbs, take a couple of Zilatone in the evening; next morning the Eno Salt.
