Time of Reading 4:00 to 4:20 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Alabama. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1198].

2. Now, as we find, this is a condition of incoordination between the impulses in the physical and the impulses from the mental. Yet as we find these may be materially aided, although it will require individual and specific application - and then would be as not one institutionalized.

3. These are the conditions then as we find them with this body, [1198] we are speaking of:

4. The blood supply indicates the lack of the activity that exists as well as the hindrances in connection with more of the superficial and the deep circulation at ganglia, and the effect is the burning or searing as it were - producing those conditions in the ganglia where the locomotion from the voluntary reaction is lacking.

5. While these are not wholly of a physical but of a psychological nature, the hindrances in brain's coordination are not a production of broken cell or even of the tissue in brain forces showing any lesion. But rather in the ganglia of the locomotory centers along the cerebrospinal system, as is indicated by the manner of reaction when body would be under hypnosis - or ordinary sleep, when the action becomes voluntary; and thus it is, as the indication is, that it is the incoordination between the impulses in the sympathetic and the cerebrospinal system, or the connections between same, from the ganglia in the centers about the lower lumbars and in the sacral, those in the upper dorsal and through the cervical areas.

6. While manipulative or corrective forces along the spine would ordinarily be effective, as we find there needs be those applications in the physical forces of the body itself that will enable the glandular forces to produce those influences from the assimilated forces of the body that would RENEW the activity of the ganglia along those areas as indicated of a specific nature, and add stamina to the whole of the activity and thus BUILD the nerve connections in the

1198-1 Page 2

cerebrospinal and sympathetic connecting conditions.

7. True, this will require time, this will require persistence; it will require patience. Yet for the very nature of the condition and the reactions as may be brought about, if there are the mental and the spiritual aptitudes and the encouragements to the body itself for its holding to that as may be builded within itself, these would become worthy of all the efforts that may be made in these directions. And in the course of a portion of a cycle there should be seen very DEFINITE changes.

8. While at first they may become apparently as localized, and then we will find other portions - the arms, the lower limbs, the spine itself becoming affected, these should - after the first changes and the first cycle - make for rapid improvements for the body.

9. These conditions have arisen from a very high temperature and from infectious forces that have attacked the lymph and its relationship to ganglia in the nerve forces of the body as pertaining to locomotion and the very balance between the mental in the body to locomotion.

10. First then we would begin with the use of the Wet Cell Appliance, carrying two solutions that would be alternated between the Chloride of Gold (the proportions one grain to each half ounce of distilled water, using about six ounces of the solution) and atomic iodine or Atomidine (commercial or regular strength, requiring six ounces of this solution).

11. The Atomidine solution would not necessarily be changed as often as the Gold solution. The Gold solution should be renewed each time there is the recharging of the Appliance, or every twenty-eight days from the beginning of the use. The same Appliance would be used for both solutions, but different connections or plates with the two solutions. The Atomidine solution would be changed every OTHER time the Appliance is recharged, then.

12. Attachments would be made in this manner:

13. The first day the smaller or copper plate would be attached, first, to the 4th lumbar center, while the larger or cup plate - through which the Gold solution passes - would be attached, last, to the umbilicus or lacteal duct area, or just a fourfingers' (not counting the thumb) hand's breadth from the umbilicus center toward the right side, or just below the gall duct center - for thirty minutes.

14. The next day, the small plate would be attached first - to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd cervical centers, or so that the crossing of the nerve centers from the cerebrospinal and the sympathetic systems are covered as they enter through the activities as connected with the vagus center, connected

1198-1 Page 3

with the medulla oblongata, connected with the thyroid; while the larger plate - through which the Atomidine solution passes - would be attached to the same area as the day before - for thirty minutes.

15. These attachments would be alternated in this manner, you see, one one day, one the next; first the Gold, the next the Atomidine - continuing in that rotation.

16. About twice a week, Tuesdays and Fridays, massage the body with this (This all may be done at home, you see. One may soon learn, by having these points pointed out, how to apply the Appliance as well as to make the massage):

17. To 4 ounces of Russian White Oil, add - in the order named: Pure Olive Oil.........................1 ounce, Spirits of Camphor.....................1 ounce, Cedar Wood Oil (not Cedar Nut Oil).....1 ounce, Witchhazel.............................1 ounce, (Understand, these are not oils, but put in this order and as given!) Oil of Pine Needles..................1/2 ounce, Compound Tincture of Benzoin.........1/2 ounce, Oil of Wintergreen.....................1 ounce, Oil of Sassafras.....................1/2 ounce.

18. These, we understand, do not mix; but when they are shaken together they do, and throw off those active forces as combine one with another. Pour a small portion into an open container, as a saucer.

19. Begin in the center of the spine, with the body lying on the face, or begin at about the 9th dorsal. Massage along BOTH SIDES of the spinal column, of course running over the spinal column itself but more over the areas of the sympathetic or vegetative system, from the 9th dorsal downward. And massage specifically over the lower lumbar axis and over the sacral area, and down the sciatic nerve centers - specifically at the end or the coccyx end of the spine and under the knees, down to the bottom of the feet, see?

20. And then begin at the same center of the spine (9th dorsal) and massage the same way in a circular motion on either side upwards, to those areas between the shoulder blades and up to the cervical area, see?

21. Then along the arms, under the arms, in the elbows, into the palm of the hand, and of course the circular motion around each portion of the arm (as with the lower limbs); but following those nerve centers and muscular centers UNDER the lower limbs, under the arm to the palms, and under the lower limbs to the soles of the feet.

22. Do this Tuesdays, Fridays, see?

23. The other applications (the Appliance) would be each day; that is, one of the solutions each day, for thirty minutes.

24. Keep the diets much as has been given.

25. Then, when the Appliance has been used until the second recharging - or for the first period and then recharged again, just before the period for the third recharging, we will give further instructions.

26. We are through with this reading. Copy to Mrs. [4961] " " Ass'n file (See letter [which was enclosed] to be sent to H.H.R. Co.)
