1. EC: Yes. We have the body here, [1199].
2. Now, as we find, in considering that which may be helpful for the body in the present, from the long standing of some of the causes that must be taken into consideration, it will be necessary that not a whole history be given but that - if there will be that application which will be other than palliative - those tissues that have been involved through disturbing conditions, that first brought about influences which have made for hindrances in the activity, those unbalances of the activity of organs as before and the involvement in others since the disturbing forces as produced, all must be considered in the applications for helpful forces in the body.
3. For ALL become involved in a manner, and there will be necessitated then, as we find, the building up of resistances in portions of the system, the creating of a balance of coordinations in others; then changes to build up those forces that are aided by this balancing of the forces or the coordinating organs with locomotion, with activities in the functioning of organs, with the influences for the reciprocal reaction of the glands with organs as related to the whole general system.
4. These then are conditions as we find them with this body, [1199], we are speaking of:
5. IN THE BLOOD SUPPLY, this we find alters or changes, as it were, at times, so that there are those reactions from a disturbed pancreas activity. Hence in the assimilations of these influences for recuperative forces, these as they affect muscular forces of the body must be considered.
6. IN THE NERVOUS FORCES, these as we find have been hindered in plexus along the cerebrospinal system, so that the activity in locomotion is disturbed or hindered in its reaction through its ordinary or normal movements, as well as the effect produced through the same nervous reaction to
1199-1 Page 2
the sensory forces; so that those influences to the sensory organism will later need SPECIFIC attention. But the general building forces as related to this incoordination in ganglia along the spine must first be taken into consideration.
7. IN THE FUNCTIONING OF THE ORGANS THEMSELVES, as indicated, many of these become involved; as those through the respiratory system, through the variation in the circulatory forces, the heart's activity as related to a disturbed circulation, a digestive force that makes for the changes by the very activity of the organs through the assimilating system, and the hepatic circulation as related to the locomotory forces, the activity of assimilation and the vibrations as WILL be created by the addition of elements in the system in such ways and such measures or manners as to produce for the body a basic force through which the activities of the system may become the nearer to a constructive building throughout the system.
8. Hence as we find in the beginning, and for the first sixty or ninety days, or a period of about three changes of the Appliance which we will suggest, we would make for the creating of vibrations in the system, the adding of elements in their proper relation and form to the disturbed forces without creating an unbalance by the activity of drug or of corrective forces other than that which is made for the proper assimilation through the functioning of the superficial circulation by their activity or coordination in the ganglia along the system with the cerebrospinal system.
9. First, then, we would make the applications of the Wet Cell Appliance carrying two forms of medicinal properties for the activity upon the glandular forces, for the stimulation to the proper secretions; making for those activities as to keep down the tendency for the formation in centers or portions of the body of the inflammatory conditions that disturb the system. So, there would be an alternation between the Chloride of Gold and the Atomidine, used with the attachments in this manner:
10. The first day make the small copper plate attachment first, to the 4th lumbar; while the larger nickel plate passing through the Gold Solution (in the proportion of one grain Chloride of Gold to one ounce of distilled water) would be attached last, to the umbilicus center; for thirty minutes.
11. The next day the first attachment of the small plate would be to the LAST CERVICAL PLEXUS; not BELOW - for the heart's activity - but that above same to the circulatory force or the activity through the organs to the head, the
1199-1 Page 3
throat, the lungs, the activities of the system - the last cervical, you see; while the larger plate passing through the Atomidine solution (commercial strength) would be attached last to the same area as the day before; that is, at the lacteal duct or the gall duct AND the lacteal area; for thirty minutes.
12. Alternate the attachments and the solutions each day in this manner. Use the same appliance for each vibration but use same through different leads to the solutions.
13. Each twenty-eight days recharge the Appliance.
14. After the attachment of the Appliance each day - preferably AFTER because it will tend to make for the distribution through the nerve forces and the cellular activity of the lymph circulation, and building up same so that we may revive nerve activities through depleted organs and through centers and ganglia along the system - we would massage the body with a combination of properties prepared in this manner:
15. To 6 ounces of Pure Olive Oil as the base, add - in the order named: Russian White Oil....................1 ounce, Oil of Cedar Wood....................1 ounce, Oil of Sassafras Root................1 ounce, Compound Tincture of Benzoin.........1 ounce, Witchhazel...........................1 ounce, Spirits of Camphor...................1 ounce. These will tend to separate, as the oils from the alcoholic solutions, but shake them together before they are poured in an open container to massage the spine. Also let these extend to the extremities, especially from the centers or areas between the shoulders and to the arms; to the lower lumbar and sacral and to the lower limbs and the activities through these portions of the system.
16. Do these.
17. After ninety days we would give further instructions.
18. Ready for questions.
19. (Q) Any advice regarding diet? (A) These have been kept very good, but as we find as these applications are made there will come those periods when there will be the desire for specific or special foods. But keep the diet more in an alkaline reaction, or beware of combinations where a great deal of fats or starches are at the same meal. If meats are taken, rather let these be of lamb, fowl, fish. These may be taken all in moderation; but the sweets should preferably be of honey rather than of

sugars or of cane. And we will find it well that citrus fruit juices or limes or the like be NOT taken with cereals, but balance these well.
20. We are through for the present. Copy to Brother " " Ass'n file (GD's note at the time of the reading: See letter with directions [which was enclosed] to be sent to H.H.R. Corporation for type of Appliance suggested.)
