At her parents' Time of Reading home, 11:00 to 11:20 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Penna. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1201].
2. Now, as we find, while these conditions are rather serious and have been produced by impingements that CAUSE a reaction in the glandular forces that is harmful, if there is the patience and persistence - even now, as we find - these may be materially aided and a near normal reaction brought about in the physical forces of this body, [1201].
3. These are the conditions, then, as we find them with this body:
4. In the early portion, or during that period just preceding the teen age, there were those activities in which there was an injury to the coccyx end of the spine. And this has engorged or gradually grown; and has turned also, somewhat. This has given little discomfort in the area itself, though the impingements as produced have made for that tendency for the lower portion of the adrenals to make for accumulations. And with varied changes that have come about, as the body has developed, as the regular changes through the activity or associations have come about, this has made a condition that borders between what is commonly termed oedema [edema] and elephantiasis; or accumulations about the hips, about the lower extremities that are of an UNNATURAL or an abnormal reaction there. This naturally has magnified the disturbance through the mental reactions. Not that any condition is abnormal for the MENTAL forces, save as has gradually grown in the AWARENESS OF a disturbance. And this has naturally builded a barrier where that much as might be applied through a mental reaction or conditions that would act upon the nerve forces of the body would be prevented from proper or nominal physical reaction to the body.
5. These in the present produce an abnormal pulsation. This slows up in portions of the body and is excessive in other
1201-1 Page 2
portions.
6. The nerve forces, while there is not a great derangement, they will become more and more aware of same as progress is made in correcting the causes; though, to be sure, the effects as are created must gradually be eliminated as WELL as the correction made of the causes for the disturbances to the body.
7. With these corrections, as we find, some disturbances that have been to the body rather aggravating will be removed; as in those relations to the activity of the organs of the genitive system, as to those activities in the manners of the assimilating system, as to the likes and dislikes that have gradually arisen with the body until they become at times almost as a portion of the body itself that cannot be or may not be overcome without ANGUISH to the body.
8. In the organs themselves of the body, these naturally make for an exaggerated activity.
9. Hence as we find all of these at times disturb the general equilibrium of the body.
10. As we find then, first, we would begin with these:
11. There will be the necessity about three or four months later for changes to be made in the exercises that the body would take, or in the applications of those influences for making the correction, as well as for the gradual reduction or DISTRIBUTION of energies as well as the building up of RESISTANCES for the body.
12. These must be met, these must be taken into consideration as the varied conditions arise with this body.
13. We would prepare first the Wet Cell Appliance, or a low form of electrical force that will revivify a coordinating activity of those forces between the adrenals, the thyroid, and the glands in the base of the brain. Yet the attachments to the body of this influence or force should carry a solution from which the vibrations are activative rather than being taken into the system itself.
14. Irritations will arise, but if the corrections and the massages as necessary to be a portion of this treatment are conducted - as it were - in keeping with these conditions, we will find these will be allayed and helpful forces come GRADUALLY through the periods of activity.
15. In the Wet Cell Appliance we would use a 10% solution of Nitrate of Silver. The attachments would be made as follows:
16. The small or copper plate would be attached first (on the plain lead, you see), to the 4th lumbar; while the larger plate (with, of course, the lead tube), through which
1201-1 Page 3
the Silver solution passes, would be attached last, to the umbilicus and lacteal duct center - or four fingers or a hand's breadth from the navel toward the right side, directly opposite though just a little above DIRECTLY opposite, see? And the Appliance would remain attached each day for NOT more than thirty minutes. We would commence preferably with twenty minutes and in the course of the first thirty days increase about every fifth day for a minute and a half or two minutes until the thirty minute period is reached.
17. Twice a week we would have osteopathic adjustments in the lumbar and coccyx area. It will necessitate a very GRADUAL correction there, relaxing the body before the corrections are made with wet heat - as of heavy towels or the like applied to the sacral and coccyx area for five to ten minutes before the corrections or even manipulations are attempted. These we would take for periods of three weeks, rest periods of three weeks, and continue with these for at least three periods of treatments, three periods of rest.
18. Every thirty days change the solutions in the Appliance.
19. And with the diets, keep these in the eighty percent alkalin to twenty percent acid-producing. Beware of combinations. Keep the acid-producing - or the necessity of the flow of the gastric juices or of acid, which is for certain foods - combined properly. And do not mix starches with sweets. Do not have white bread as a portion of the diet, nor white potatoes. Most other foods in general may be taken.
20. After ninety days we would give the further instructions.
21. The activities during this period would be at least two to five minutes of morning before arising, and evening before retiring or when retiring, to lie upon the back, extending feet and limbs into the air, and gradually begin to exercise same much in the manner as riding a bicycle. Not too much, to tire the body, but as indicated - as ADJUSTMENTS are made and as there is the application of those elements to make these corrections with the glandular forces of the body - we will find these will become more and more helpful.
22. Ready for questions.
