St. Vincent's Time of Reading Hospital, 3:55 to 4:15 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. Birmingham, Ala. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1202]; this we have had before.
2. As we find, in the existent conditions, there is weakness and there are those conditions that might easily become very detrimental by the reproduction of those influences that cause the separation and segregation of the lymph flow into pockets in portions of the system - where the tissue that has made for adherence here and there hinders.
3. However, we find that - for this body in the present - these need more of what may be termed RECUPERATIVE forces. Or there is the necessity of creating in the activity of the system through the secretions from the glands, the activities as may be given from the very elements in the blood supply, to create more of those forces that MAKE for proper coagulation, proper strength-building, proper elimination by the activity of glands and organs COOPERATING and coordinating as one with another.
4. Hence as we would find, for the body to be more in the open, more away from those fumes and those exercises within such a place AS a hospital, would be much more preferable!
5. It is true that there are the needs for care and attention, yet if these were done as in a recuperative place rather than in a hospitalization place we would find the reactions would be more helpful, more in accord, more in keeping with that as would make for helpful forces in this body.
6. Hence, while those will be very strong influences and forces that will be necessary at times, it will be more a case of nursing, more a case of building up resistances, than of curatives. But curatives in the manner that those influences in the body will be brought to recuperative activity.
7. First we would, then, make for those surroundings for the body.

8. Then we would begin with small doses of Atomidine; one minim in water at a dose and this not oftener than every other day - in half a glass of water.
9. On the days when this is not taken, take the Animated Ash; one-eighth or one-quarter grain - emptied dry on tongue and washed down with water; do not take IN CAPSULE.
10. After taking the dosage of Ash, about three to five minutes afterwards apply the violet ray over the area of the lower portion of the lung but from the back. Let this extend to the lower portion of the stomach but from the back, see, for a minute or a minute and a half.
11. We would also take the electrical vibrations as from the low electrical appliance of the Wet Cell nature carrying the Atomidine in the solution. The attachments would be made in this manner:

The small copper plate would be attached first, to the 4th lumbar; while the larger plate, through which the Atomidine solution passes, would be attached last - to the umbilicus and lacteal duct plexus, over the area of a portion of the gall bladder; not where there are hurts or injuries or operative forces, but as close over this area as the plate may be applied. Keep the plates clean. Give the vibrations from this about twenty minutes each day, as the body is prepared for rest of an evening.
13. We would have also periods of three weeks when almost every day there would be the NEUROPATHIC massage, such that the whole of the circulation is not so much disturbed but quieted; making for those specific treatments in the lumbar area and to the lower limbs, the 9th dorsal area and those to the stomach, to the liver, to the spleen; those from the brachial centers or from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd dorsal, and naturally the allaying of those in the upper cervicals or the vegetative system and the vagus center and to the head, to keep the body quiet. Such a treatment would be given each day for three weeks; rest a week, and then again.
14. Then with the diets: The liver extract, beef juices, citrus fruit juices; these should form the PRINCIPAL portions of the diet for the body. The semi-liquids and the vegetable juices may be included as a portion of these, but take the beef juice - of course - AS a food, while the Valentine's Liver Extract would be more as a tonic and as a blood builder.
15. Do these and, as we find, we may bring the more helpful effects to this body.

17. (Q) Is this the hand violet ray that should be used? (A) There's only one VIOLET ray. The hand violet ray,

using the bulb applicator as is made for same. This would only be given after the Ash is taken, which is only every other day. Take preferably of a morning, after the body has been eased; and this applied (the violet ray) over the back of the stomach or along the spine from the lower portion of the dorsal to the UPPER dorsal and lower portion of the cervical.
18. (Q) What location would be suggested as best to remove the body? (A) Wherever the body may be more in the open, more where there is quiet; but necessary that care be taken as of nursing - as has been indicated; but more for recuperative forces, and wherever there may be the advantage of a NEUROPATHIC physician.
19. (Q) Could this treatment be taken in ..., Alabama? (A) This would be very good, provided it is made where the body will be in the open as much as possible.
