Time of Reading 11:15 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical, Mental and Spiritual)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body and those conditions that surround the body.
2. In the physical forces of the body, these we find very good in most respects. There are those conditions of which the body taking cognizance in the present may prevent disorders in these directions later on. There is a tendency for the creation in the system through the taking of food values that create, with the tendencies existent in the physical and general - or prenatal make-up - too great a stimuli to some of the glands of the system. These corrections made in the physical - that is, the cerebrospinal system, and with the precautions as respecting diet - will make many changes for the better, and greater improvements in the body physical and mental, giving a greater opportunity for the better or more perfect manifestation of the spiritual forces within the system.
3. In the cerebrospinal system, these tendencies from minor subligations [subluxations?] exist: In the upper dorsal - 3rd, 4th and 5th dorsal. In the cervical - 3rd, 5th and 6th. These make - WITH the stimuli in the digestive system - for that fullness that occurs in the nasal cavity, in the circulation, especially for face, head, and the auditory and sensory system. In the dorsal and its sympathetic tributaries, a tendency for a fullness in the pulsation through the sympathetic cardiac plexus. These corrections made in the present will make for better conditions.
4. As to the diet, this would be an outline - not to remain the same, but altered as circumstances or conditions call for the change:
5. Mornings - citrus fruits, combined with any of the dry cereals, especially those that are very hard. This will aid the teeth, the gums, and the digestive system.
6. Noon - this should not be a heavy meal. The sweets, and the combinations of the vegetables that are raw - also those that furnish the greater amount of sugars for the system should be taken. Little or no eating between meals for the

body.
7. Evenings - cooked vegetables, and the meats in a greater or lesser degree to meet the needs of a developing system, keeping a well balance between the iodines and the chlorines for the system; that is, that make the alkaloids in the system itself. In potatoes, or such starchy foods taken - not too much of the pulps, but more of the rinds and such. Let the desserts in such a meal be rather the cooked or stewed fruits, than too much of the pastry nature.
8. These, we will find, in their combinations and changes, will CHANGE the general outlook for the body and keep the eliminations near normal.
9. In the mental developing forces of the body - these, as we find, offer many of the possibilities for such a developing mind. Those ideas and ideals should be set before the body in precept and example, that will make for the centralizing of those forces that pertain to the spiritual forces of body through or in an ideal; not merely an idea. To be sure, the body mind is of such an analytical nature as to require both in precept AND example; else these will become - to THIS mind - such as to make for doubts, and tendency towards TRYING things and conditions and circumstances for self. Being of an analytical temperament, those fields that require a great amount of detail work, or detailed thought, will be that field in which the body SHOULD have its greater amount of attention, or training. Keep the mental forces in such an atmosphere, through the training, through the teaching, that while the restraints of a nature may be had, but there must ever be presented FOR the body the WHY, before a COMMAND - or before dictating TO the mental forces as respecting morals or mental forces, or any of those developments of the attributes of the mental or physical body. These need that same care and attention that has been outlined as respecting WHY such activities, such labors. DO NOT break the will, but rather seek to MAKE the will-development STRONG in an ideal. The spiritual forces and atmosphere are as necessary as the care of the physical or mental body; for remember, the spirit is willing - the FLESH is weak. The will being that controlling factor in these respects, let that atmosphere, that environ, that condition exist about the body that will make for a oneness of purpose in its daily activity - socially, morally, mentally, economically, in the home, abroad, or where. Let a LOVING application of ideals be EVER presented, for much may be accomplished by the body through loving kindness - but the will once broken, and often commands without reason, will make for DETRIMENTAL conditions arising in the mental

abilities and the physical outlook of the body. Ready for questions.
10. (Q) Would it be best for body to be sent to a boarding school in the Fall or to a public high school in the neighborhood? (A) If the proper character of boarding school is selected, where the body will have the proper environment, the proper associations and relations - this, we find, would be the better.
11. (Q) Should body be sent to camp this summer? (A) Be well.
12. (Q) Please name boarding school, giving location. (A) Seek out such as has been outlined. These may be found in several vicinities, or several places - but not so far away that same will not be in a position where those responsibilities for the moral and physical life may not be kept in rather close association or touch with same.
13. (Q) Should her music lessons be continued? (A) If so desired by the body. If these become a burden, then select those of the arts that are of a more congenial or sympathetic conditions with the body. The delicate colors, the delicate situations, the delicate things in life will be ALWAYS the more appealing. Not that the body is not strong, vital, and firm in its reaction - but those of delicate shades, delicate things set before the body will make for a more even temperamental force.
14. (Q) What is body best suited for as a life calling? (A) That as will deal with intimate things, delicate things, as conditions in and with individuals - or in the affairs of peoples.
15. (Q) Is present home environment detrimental to the future development of the entity? (A) We have suggested that the change be made in the Fall. These in the present may be made much more of a congenial nature - but we would make the change.
16. (Q) How can her mother gain her complete confidence? (A) By precept and example in EVERY condition that is presented. Heart to heart talks; not preaching, not lecturing - but as companionate in every respect. Become the child WITH the child - see the child's outlook, see the developing body's view of conditions; listen to those various conditions that are as troublesome forces that arise - whether they pertain to the friendships or the relationships with individuals, or with those problems of life in the relationships with every FORCE in life. Listen, and then be able to answer WHY!
17. We are through for the present.
