R E A D I N G
Time of Reading 4:10 to 4:30 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y.
1. GC: You will have before you the three [1151] children - [1188], [1206] and [1179] - now at ... Ave., N.Y. You will give a Check Physical reading for these children, answering the questions submitted regarding them by the mother, Mrs. [1158], present in this room.
2. EC: Yes, we have the children here - [1188], [1206] and [1179].
3. They each present a different condition, to be sure. They each as we find show improvements from that as we have had before.
4. While there are greater developments in some directions in [1188] than in the others, their physical reactions all have been very good.
5. They each are needing, as we find, not exactly the same but in some directions there is the need of corrective forces and preventative forces more than corrective in the main.
6. As to the conditions we find with each: In [1188], then:
7. There needs be the keeping of the corrections through the activities of developments for the changes that arise under the activities of the body during these periods of the ordinarily termed "shut-in" experiences, or the lack of the proper relationships to the vitamins necessary for the nominal or normal development.
8. As indicated there are greater developments in the nominal manner here than especially in the others (It's hard to separate them!).
9. In this body, though, we would give rather the necessary influences from the Cod Liver Oil that is a part of a normal development; these either in the tablets or in the pellets that are of the greater vitamin content or quantity necessary for THIS body.
10. Occasionally, once a week, being in the ultra-violet
1206-2 Page 2
lights would be much preferable for this body.
11. Keep the diets much in the same manner for the regular developments for the body.
12. In [1206], as we find:
13. There are considerations necessary as to the activity of the glandular system, which especially may be aided by the occasional taking of the small quantities of Atomidine. Do not take these too regularly; that is, for too long a period; but one minim before a meal of morning, one minim upon retiring. Take each day for a week, rest a period of a week, then take for two weeks, then a rest period of two weeks, throughout the winter season.
14. And we should find, with the regular activities to bring about cold resistance for the body, there should be continued improvement. And should there be, from damp feet or exposure, the tendencies for the mucous membranes of the throat to become affected, use the Atomidine in a weakened solution as a gargle or spray - for THIS body.
15. In the diet keep the regular body-building forces.
16. Especially, too, the violet ray or ultra-violet ray occasionally would be helpful; once a week a thorough sun bath - which is the ultra-violet light, you see - a minute and a half to two minutes - will be most helpful.
17. In [1179]:
18. We still find a little different condition, or a change here necessary. The supersensitive reactions of the body require that there should be not only more of the glandular stimulation but the activities that aid the glands as they are cleansed for the reproduction of the body-building forces and influences in the system. As we would find here, the Ventriculin would be well - not with Iron, in this particular season; for the ultra-violet with the Ventriculin proper would be better.
19. Take the Atomidine occasionally, and this a little bit different; only one minim each day before the morning meal, preferably for three weeks, rest a week and then for three weeks again, and this continued through the periods of the winter or the shut-in period, and these left off entirely, to be sure, when the body is in the open again - or about salt or sand or the sea.
20. The ultra-violet also for this body will be active with the Ventriculin and the forces for the cleansing of the glandular system, thus producing a greater resistance for the body, and keeping in a nearer normal condition.
21. Ready for questions.
22. (Q) Should all three take the Cod Liver Oil? (A) The Cod Liver Oil or the Halibut Oil with Viosterol.
1206-2 Page 3
The White's Cod Liver Oil Tablets would be preferable for [1188], while the Halibut would be better for the other two.
23. (Q) Should [1179] start taking her liver extract again? If so, how much and how often? (A) This as we find may be altered, in that the broiled liver itself if given would be much preferable to the body to the using of the extract. And this would be well for all, for this then supplies elements needed. Broiled; do not fry; do not have too hard, and only the calves' liver, see?
24. (Q) How often should they have this? (A) Once or twice a week, evenings preferably.
25. (Q) Should [1179] continue taking the daily dose of Pineapple Culture Bacillus Bulgaricus put out by the Ferment Co.? (A) This is very good for this body, though as we find if the ultra-violet rays are given with the Ventriculin AND the Atomidine taken in the small doses these will build resistance much faster for this body; and with these changes and these taken, then this Culture only will aid in these. But do not have them to conflict with the activity of the Ventriculin, which is the better blood-building of any compounds that are prepared for conditions when development of body, children or adults, may need a nerve stimulant and a blood builder.
26. (Q) Would this Pineapple Culture be good for [1188] and [1206] to take? (A) Occasionally, but not as a regular thing. For here is the change in Culture, as we find in these: There are conditions in the system when this is of particular value, especially where there is the tendency through the digestive tract for fermentations from foods that have not been properly assimilated or digested. However, the activities of the Atomidine upon the system with Cod Liver Oil are to keep these very portions of the system purified. Then by too much of such a Culture we may produce an irritation, you see, in the very portions from which we are supposed to eliminate disturbances! This occasionally then is like a stimuli that changes, and thus taken occasionally is very good.
27. (Q) Would you say once a week? (A) Once a week should be sufficient. Once in ten days would be better possibly.
28. (Q) Should [1188] start taking chocolate calcium tablets such as he took last winter? (A) There's better resistance here than there was in the
1206-2 Page 4
previous winter, as indicated. This is not a combination we would use in this time, unless changes come about. Rather we would use the cereal combinations as of malt and the whole wheat, that would be better. These will supply a malt in the digestive forces, with the weight, with the activity for all - especially with those properties as indicated that produce a cleansing that is hard to surpass.
29. (Q) Should [1188] take Atomidine? (A) As has been indicated, this should be only a part - and not even as much as the others, see?
30. (Q) Have you any suggestions for any of the children? (A) Much might be said as to their temperaments and their reactions to the various conditions that surround them. Keep them ever in that constructive way and manner of playing the game of life as is experienced by those who make for keeping their trust in the spiritual forces or influences in their daily life and their contacts as one to another. That as you give out, that you store up in self. That you RECEIVE you lose. For that which is a growth is the expression of the divine in the experience day by day.
31. (Q) Should [1206] or either of the other children take the bluestone exercises in N. Y. once a week this winter? (A) [1206], but not the others, we would give would be very well; for those particular developments for the structural body and its activities as related to developments of the body.
32. (Q) Any further advice to mother in caring for these children? (A) This is as has just been indicated. Keep them in the counsel that realizes they are each an individual entity, with their individual problems. And while they each are kept in accord with a universal consciousness of good, not JUST good but good for some development, some activity, some experience that makes for that in our or their own lives as a tangible activity, as a development for the entity's experience.
33. (Q) What is the name of the Cod Liver Oil Tablets [1188] should use, and how often? (A) As has been indicated, the White's would be the better for [1188]; while for [1206] and [1179] we would use the Halibut Liver Oil with Viosterol in capsules or pellets.
34. (Q) How often should the tablets be taken? (A) These may be taken once a day for a period of a week to two weeks, and then left off for a little while. We will find, or the individuals will find, administering these: To take continually grows not only monotonous to the developing body but if these are taken for periods, let the body adjust
1206-2 Page 5
itself for a period of a week or ten days to two weeks, and then begin again, their reaction upon the system is much more satisfactory.
35. (Q) Is our violet ray machine at ... efficient enough to use for the violet ray treatment once a week for the children? (A) As we find, this is better than the Carbon - the Mercury Light is much more preferable. This as we find then would be helpful and would be used and could be used for these conditions.
36. (Q) Ours is a Mercury Light. (A) It's just as has been given. This we would use.
37. (Q) Is it operating efficiently? (A) As we find it can be made to operate efficiently. Not right immediately is it.
38. (Q) Is half an hour too long? (A) Half an hour is too long unless sufficient distance from the body. If it is put sixty to one hundred inches away, and just lie in it, alright for thirty minutes. But this as we find if put forty to fifty, ten to fifteen minutes is plenty long. And then there should be, of course, the turning of the body for same. Or if put sufficiently far away, then they may play in it for an hour.
39. (Q) Last winter we gave three baths a week with this machine. (A) Two should be sufficient.
40. (Q) Any other advice? (A) Keep these in these directions, and we will find the development, mentally and physically, of these bodies.
