1. EC: Yes, we have the records of the entity here, now known as [1206].
2. In giving a summation of the astrological sojourns, as well as the relationships and environs in experiences in the earth, these - without respect of will - are apparent:
3. One with the tendency to rely upon judgements of others. Hence in helping or aiding, train the entity towards self-reliance. One that needs to be directed in these directions, or else there will be the inclination to be too easily led - through the developing years - into following without self-assertion.
4. One whose inclinations and tendencies would be for a career, at least in the earlier portions of the developed womanhood; in those fields of either an elocutionist, a reader, or in some portions of stage or theatrical work - if there are given those tendencies for activity in those directions.
5. From the astrological we find then these as inclinations in the innate influences about the mental entity:
6. Venus makes for an easy disposition, very easily imposed upon. Yet the self-assertion that should be taught or given should be from the reasoning and spiritual promptings in the activities. And especially in those trainings as to spiritual promptings for a moral or religious life or experience, not for its own sake but for that in which and through which the entity may gain in the abilities to serve and be a channel of expression of the divine in its relations to others; else too easily may it be led into being imposed upon in every phase or manner to maintain friendships.
7. Hence its companionships through the developing years should be with an eye single in purposefulness that the entity may become more the leader than relying upon others to take expression, that there may be given into the
1206-3 Page 2
activities that are latent and need expression, the abilities in the directions as indicated.
8. In Jupiter we find the associations making for those tendencies for large groups to be in relationships with the entity. This makes also for those inclinations that in the experiences of the entity will be great amounts of this world's goods. May the training also then not only in its teen age but throughout its developments be as to the use of same, as being lent from Creative Forces and energies and not as for self-indulgence or aggrandizements.
9. From the Uranian influences we find the extremist. And these tendencies we will find will develop especially through the early teen age years, when there will be moods and the tendency for wonderments. Hence the necessities in the trainings for this entity as to the value of experiences of every nature, whether pertaining to body, to mind, or to spiritual things. And nothing should be given the entity merely as rote or routine, but as purposefulness in every phase of its experience. These make for also the intuitive influences and the abilities for the development in the very psychic forces of the entity. Hence in the expression of same in reading, or as a reader or elocutionist, or as an actress even, will bring the experience that not for the praise in self, not for merely the applause of others, but that what the entity may give may be as lessons in the lives and the experiences of others.
10. For each soul's expression in the earth is to be a channel through which Creative Forces or God may be made the greater manifest in the experience of those an individual contacts from day to day.
11. So Life in all its experiences is a practical application of the concept of God or Creative Energy in the lives of individuals as they deal with their associations.
12. As to the appearances in the earth, then, that influence the entity in the present:
13. Before this we find the entity was in the land of the present nativity, during those periods when there were those individuals or groups that were known as stroller players or groups that went from various towns or cities with those activities that gave the expressions of plays, even drama, opera - as was known during those early stages and the beginnings of the developments after the American Revolution.
14. The entity then, in the name Sarah Anne Goddard (Baltimore), gained throughout its activity; yet owing to temperaments, conditions, associations, the entity tended to give self-expression. And in the latter portions of that
1206-3 Page 3
sojourn when there was in the material sense the lack of the worldly means, the entity depended upon others and began to feel within self that the self-assertion had begun to be more as that which had been expressed by some of the associates.
15. Hence these are to be met in the activities of the entity in the present, especially during those periods just now ahead in the formative years and in those periods when the changes come - to body, to mind, to outlook upon the relationships of the bodily entity, the mental entity, the spiritual entity; or the body-physical, body-mental AS an entity in its associations with others.
16. Before that we find the entity was in the land or country now known as the Roman, and in the city of Rome; during those periods when there were the activities of those that made for the expressions of entertainment for those in authority.
17. And during those latter portions of the experiences under a Roman ruler, Tiberius, when there were those fraught with fear for the expressions coming from those activities of the peoples from another land.
18. The entity was among those that were of what would be termed royalty, or in the household of those closely associated with that as had been of the household of Claudius, as well as Tiberius when those changes came.
19. Then the entity was in those positions where the very position brought disturbing conditions. For there were those things and experiences that brought changes in the affairs of those with whom the entity was associated. Yet when there came into the experience those associations and activities that brought the first hearings of the tenets and truths, a strange experience came.
20. Thus as may be seen, those effects upon the entity of too deep a relationship in the experiences of a religious life without purpose may bring - as in that sojourn - disturbing of peace of mind of the entity.
21. Yet when there were those associations of the entity with Ruth and those who had been so close with those activities in the Palestine land, the entity came to be a power among those groups that even gave their bodies for sacrifices for a Cause, a Purpose, an Ideal.
22. Hence these will become as the entity's experience in that sojourn; it may become welded with that inducement of good for an Ideal's activity, Good in the experience not for that of "just because" but for a purpose wherein the self may be the channel of expressions of ideals to others.
23. Before that we find the entity was in the Egyptian land,
1206-3 Page 4
during those periods when there were the cleansings of the body and the dedicating of the self and life for active service in the various fields of endeavor in the spread of what had been the promptings from those activities in the Temples of Sacrifice and in the Temple Beautiful.
24. There the entity served as what would be called in the present the second stations in the lives and affairs of those who had dedicated and did dedicate themselves for service. There the entity was a teacher and a minister to those that would have understandings as towards bodily cares, as to the morality of the body, of the life, and the activities and associations.
25. Hence may the entity in the present in its experience as a reader, as a teacher, as an elocutionist, as a dramatist, find means of expression to bring to others THEIR relationships to Creative Forces.
26. For these be the purposes of the experiences of souls and entities in an earthly sojourn.
27. Before that we find the entity was in that now known as the Atlantean land, during those periods of what is termed as the second change or upheavals, when there began those attempts of the sons of Belial and of the Law of One to instruct portions of the laymen, or those that were as laborers in those active fields of service in that particular land.
28. The entity then was a priestess in the temple of the Law of One.
29. Hence those things mechanical, yet things as pertain to electrical forces, things as pertain to cleansing - whether in that as would find an expression in nursing, teaching, ministering - will become and are a portion of the innate forces as find themselves in expression through the emotions of the body.
30. The tendency to submerge the emotions then must be overcome, BUT DIRECTED!
31. As to the abilities of the entity in the present, then, and that to which it may attain, and how:
32. Much depends, as has been indicated, upon the manner in which the directions of the mental self are given; for Mind becomes the Builder. But in those fields of activity is as indicated the greater portion and that field of service in what may be termed an experience, and then those periods when the teaching and the ministering may be given for the home and the surroundings.
33. Ready for questions.
34. (Q) Was this entity known to her present parents, [1158] and [1151] in other lives?
1206-3 Page 5
(A) As indicated, especially in the Roman experience. There we find their associations meant the most, as they may in the present. And it is in the environ for those very expressions and manifestations of that indicated. In the name then Garcia, of the household of the Caesars but of those portions that were of the stepchildren of Claudius.
35. (Q) Should she prepare for college entrance? (A) In those fields and activities as indicated yes. Music, the movement of the feet and the bodily expressions as part athletic, part activity in the arts.
36. (Q) Should she pursue her violin study? (A) This has become part of the activity for the mental training, and for those activities that gain the rhythm and the meanings; but in speechmaking or in reading or in elocution the greater advancement may be made.
37. (Q) Have you other constructive suggestions for her proper training and development? (A) These as we find may be had from that indicated. As these phases of the mental development in this experience advance, those conditions as may be needed for development may then be made by comparison or by seeking into those developments in the varied experiences. For each experience becomes more and more manifested as individuals prepare themselves in THAT direction. Much as might be said, if one learns a language of a certain group or country and does not exercise same IN that environ or surrounding; it is a part, but a very lax part.
38. We are through for the present.
