Time of Reading 11:45 to 12:00 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., N.Y. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body, [1206]; this we have had before.
2. As we find, the acute conditions that have arisen from some indiscretions in the care as respecting keeping the body-balance in the vital forces as related to assimilations and eliminations, and as the direct reaction of a glandular disturbance from conditions that have been indicated.
3. These we find are on the improve; and we find there should be those precautions and the following out of those suggestions that have been given for administrations through the care of those who have given the directions for the body.
4. Be mindful that there is kept plenty of exercise of the natures that will not overtire but that will make for the strengthenings for the body in those directions of the general reactions for activities of the assimilating and eliminating system.
5. And these as we find would be in keeping with that which will bring about the better conditions for this body.
6. Ready for questions.
7. (Q) Should osteopathy be resumed? If so, when, how frequent and what the nature of treatment? (A) As we find in the present, preferably follow those suggestions for treatments that have been indicated for the activities of the body by those with whom the body has been having the suggestive treatments.
8. (Q) How can eye condition be improved? (A) Only by keeping the eliminations and the balances for the activities of the system, as we find in the present; taking precautions, of course, as to the local conditions that have disturbed and that do disturb the body.
9. (Q) Should Dr. W. J. Vogeler make further calls? (A) As indicated, we would follow these for the time being. These should be farther and farther apart, but let it be rather the suggestion from the one in charge as to how often
1206-7 Page 2
or how long these would be kept up.
10. (Q) How long should Dr. Charlotte Stupp be kept on case? (A) This as we find will not be necessary so very much longer. Only until the general conditions have clarified themselves; this would not be then necessary.
11. (Q) How long before [1206] can safely return to school? (A) Within a week or ten days it should be perfectly satisfactory, provided - of course - the general conditions have cleared.
12. (Q) After [1206]'s recovery do you think she would profit, for future guidance, from visit to Dr. Minnie M. Black, [Iridologist] 27 Washington Place, East Orange, N.J.? (A) This may be a stimuli to the activities, and as we find would not be amiss. These, of course, depend upon the reaction of the body itself to the first suggestions regarding Dr. Black; as to its first meeting or reaction, see?
13. (Q) In what way can [1206] profit most from this experience? (A) In the necessary patience and precautions as to its activities in its relationships to every condition about the body.
14. (Q) Any further advice as to her diet, future activities, etc? (A) As has been indicated, as soon as practical or plausible, there should be as much activity in the open for strengthening the body, as is in keeping with the best interests of conditions as they exist. And as we find, as for diet, that which is body-building and strengthening, that may be assimilated from the foods themselves, rather than depending upon the supplying of elements from concentrated activity, see? As from sufficient and plenty of vegetables. Fish, fowl and lamb; all of these should be a portion of the diet to keep the general strength and building forces for the body, with - of course - plenty of fruit and the like.
