Time of Reading 10:35 to 10:50 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Virginia. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body here, [1208].
2. As we find, conditions are very serious and these may turn either for good or bad in ANY time.
3. The disturbances arise from a combination of disorders; infectious forces in the system, with a disturbed assimilation - that we have indicated would be hard to deal with.
4. As we find, the food values are wrong!
5. We would change the diets to the Carnation milk, making the formula sufficiently strong yet weak even for the age of the body.
6. We would purify the system by the use of the Castoria in the small doses.
7. We would have - with or at those times when water is given - the Yellow Saffron; for the internal system is in much WORSE condition even than that indicated in the skin or on the body and the mouth and the neck.
8. These places, to be sure, should be kept cleansed with an antiseptic as much as is possible.
9. Use as an ointment on same equal portions of Camphorated Oil with Olive Oil. The basis of these, to be sure, is the same - but these are rather strenuous on the body - equal portions. Use same after each nursing.
10. And DO NOT use other than the Carnation milk! Do not CHANGE from one to another.
11. Do these and as we find there may be the better conditions. Ready for questions.
12. Keep the body when IN the light, the face and eyes covered; for unless this is done these will make for conditions in the eyes that would be most harmful.
13. As to the dosage of the Castoria for the eliminations, we would give one to two drops. This may be given several times during the day, of course, or every hour or so.
14. The Saffron - do not make it too strong, but make a

proportion of a teaspoonful to the quart of water. Let this steep for an hour and then set aside. Then make it palatable, not too hot nor too cold, and take at least a teaspoonful in a tablespoonful of water. And take this - when it will - between the meals, see?
15. And the meals should be given, as we find, no farther apart than two and a half to three hours.
16. The mixture of the oils, as given, should be equal portions. There should be used as an antiseptic for the mouth at nursing time that as has been indicated, but do not make same too heavy.
17. ANY condition may arise.
18. (Q) After each nursing, what should be used? (A) As has just been given, cleansing the mouth.
19. (Q) What should be the formula for the feeding? (A) As indicated, this should NOT be too strong. There are regular formulas for the various ages. As has been indicated here, it would necessarily be a little weaker than that for a month old, see?
20. (Q) Then, the mother should not try to nurse it at all? (A) Should not nurse at all! because this makes for the arising more of the infectious forces for the whole system.
21. (Q) Should the mother take him to her home in Ohio to rest up? (A) Will have to be in much better fix than he is in the present:
22. (Q) If improved, and she goes, should she stay there or return to Virginia and work in the fall? (A) This is a choice within self. FIRST there must be the consideration of the baby, if it would be kept alive.
