Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Va. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes, we have the body and those conditions about same here; this we have had before.

2. As we find, in the main the general development of the body physically, mentally, spiritually, is very good.

3. Soon there should be considerations for some changes in the diet, but during this period of the warm weather and the forming of the teeth it is not well that those things be attempted that would tend to upset or to cause such a mighty change in the activities of the body.

4. We find that of a morning crisp bacon, well mashed, taken at the time the yolk of egg is given, would be most satisfying as well as agreeing with the digestive forces of the body.

5. It is well to keep the Lime Water with the milk. We would NOT make any change in the formula, at least during this present month.

6. There may be more and more of the vegetable foods given the body as prepared in the Gerber manner. These should NOT be made to take the PLACE of the milk but should add the properties to produce weight; that is, weight for the digestive system, producing more dilation for the stomach. For under the present growth, the milk is absorbed and digested very soon. Hence these may be given that is, the vegetables and the combinations - a little more often.

7. Do not overfeed; this is worse than underfeeding.

8. In the care of the mental and the spiritual atmosphere of the body - watch the developments, the tendencies. Be positive but not severe with the mental forces and influences of the body; this is much preferable to that of severity. Do not break the will, but rather guide same in the constructive suggestions as to the activities of the body in every way and manner.

9. These kept, as we find we will have a developing body, mentally and physically near to normal.

10. Ready for questions.

11. (Q) What can be done to keep him from catching cold so easily? (A) Keep the acidity of the system below normal. Make the tests of same with litmus paper from the kidney effusion - or the urine.

12. (Q) What immediate relief can be given for his stomach ache? (A) These periods arise, as has been indicated, either from indiscretions or activities that are at variance to the conditions that have been indicated that need to be kept in line. These should NOT be other than that which will produce the better conditions through the system. The Glyco-Thymoline is the better, if there is kept with same the Castoria for the sweetening of the stomach and to produce eliminations.

13. (Q) Should the Gerber vegetables be given at noon and at the evening meal also? (A) As indicated. These are to supply that which is to fill in, you see; while the real food values are more from the milk, the egg, oatmeal and the like, that should be altered during the day.

14. (Q) Should more than one kind of vegetable be given at a meal? (A) The one kind at a feeding is preferable. There may be given more than one kind in a day, but not at one feeding - during this month especially. Remember those conditions of the body-development. There is the necessity for calcium and lime, that is obtained more preferably through the milk and through the Lime Water for the system; for the formation not only of bone but the activity for the thyroids to produce activities for the growth of the skin, the hair, the nails, the teeth - all must be kept not overactive but nominal.

15. (Q) Is there further information that can be given the parents that will be helpful in training him during the next few years? (A) These that have been given are the manners; positive but not making for such severeness as to break the will. Rather by precept AND EXAMPLE; for remember, the example is well, as is the precept; but the example is much more effective to the body.

16. (Q) Is there a chance for [1208] making good as a baby actor in the movies? If so, how should we go about it? (A) It isn't of the disposition or nature that it should be in such.

17. (Q) Please give us any other helpful information regarding the rearing of the child. (A) This should be given as the development comes. For

during these periods, or until after the eighteenth month, the precautions are most for the PHYSICAL being. THEN from the eighteenth month we may find more for the mental. And do not forget the spiritual atmosphere for the developing entity.
