Time of Reading 11:25 to 11:35 A. M. Eastern Standard Time. ..., Ohio.

1. GC: You will give the physical condition of this body at the present time, with suggestions in detail for help and relief, giving the cause of the existing conditions; answering the questions that may be submitted, as I ask them:

2. EC: Yes.

3. Now we find conditions rather acute. They arise from an infectious force as would be termed one of the measles or roseola, as combined with a very deep cold in bronchi and larynx especially; with poor eliminations, high temperature, and lack of ability to assimilate, and tending to produce - from the temperature - regurgitation in the digestive system.

4. In making applications, first we would bathe the body - in a warm room - in body-temperature or tepid water. This would be followed by a grain alcohol rub DOWN the spine.

5. Then apply an Antiphlogistine Poultice, not too thick, but thick sufficient to act as a stabilizer and an alkalizer to the body, over the area from the base of the head to the 9th dorsal or to the middle of the body, on the back.

6. Over the throat and that area along the bronchial tube, or on almost to the stomach, we would apply an Onion Poultice. Cook the onions, but retain all the juice in same; chop fine and mix a little corn meal with same - not more than half or three-quarters of a teaspoonful. This would be applied on a very thin cloth or between gauze, you see, and applied to the throat and the front. Apply about half an inch thick.

7. The antiphlogistine would be next to the skin, you see; while the onion poultice would be put ON gauze and the gauze next to the skin, you see.

8. Leave these on two, three, four hours.

9. If it becomes necessary on the morrow, again bathe off the spinal column as well as the front portions - in the evening or night, you see - with warm or tepid water, then

massage with a little grain alcohol again over the areas over which the Poultices would be put again. Apply these again, unless the cold and fever have diminished sufficiently - which will not be until there have been the full eliminations and enough of assimilations set up to strengthen the body.

10. Begin at once with Castoria alternated with Syrup of Figs. Every fifteen minutes give ten to fifteen drops first one, then the other, until there are the full eliminations.

11. Prepare Yellow Saffron Tea; this to be taken a teaspoonful about every two and a half to three hours, so as to keep this rash or this disturbance in the circulation OUTSIDE. This is to be given warm, but not so hot as not to be palatable.

12. Also we would make the diet only of fruit juices. Combine a little lemon with the orange juice, or grapefruit juice. And especially we would alternate this with oatmeal, PREFERABLY that in the form of CUT oats - not rolled oats - but this cooked for several hours in a double boiler. A little of this would be taken with the other, and no solid foods for the period until the rash has disappeared and the cold has been broken. The juices and the oatmeal may be given right along together in these particular conditions, you see, or just as the desire calls for same. Not too much at a time, but not a great deal of other foods than these, you see. Soups or broths or any of the kind if so desired, or vegetable juices, but not too much of grease or fat. No sugars, save just sufficient to make the oatmeal palatable - this, of course, with milk; and he should take as much milk as he will take.

13. Do that.

14. Ready for questions.

15. We are through for the present. Copy to Mother - Air Mail, Special - Wired also " " Ass'n file
