Time of Reading 11:10 to 11:25 A. M. Eastern War Time. ..., Mass. (Physical Suggestion)

1. EC: Yes.

2. Now as we find, the conditions and the causes are as generally understood. It is the response the body-physical has made to the applications that have been given and made for the injured portions of the superstructural bodily forces that has disturbed, and amazed in a manner, those administering same.

3. As we find then, it becomes much of a mental and a spiritual attitude of the body. True, physical is physical, mental is mental, and spiritual is spiritual. Yet these are one in their manifestations in the material forces of the body. And so long as resentment is held, so long as disturbing conditions exist and there is not compliance with all the laws of each in their various phases of applications for the body, incoordination and disturbing factors arise.

4. Hence we have in the injured portions, about the lower limb or knee, those accumulations of water, those hardenings of tissue, without the proper conditions becoming the moving factors in the whole of the condition itself.

5. When mental attitudes and physical conditions conflict, there is just as much disturbance as there is in a mind when there is the abuse of the morality, or when the breaking of the will is accomplished. These work much in the same way and manner.

6. The rubs that are being applied in the present are very good, and these should accomplish much; if there is the proper consideration given to the diet in keeping it more alkalin so that there is the better coordination in the assimilating and the eliminating forces of the body.

7. Have at least eighty percent of the alkalin foods to twenty percent acids. Study then just a bit of dietetics for a body where not only structural portions but the serums about the muscular forces and tendons are involved in the disturbance. And the study of the pathological conditions by the body itself along the subjects of this nature necessary

for the better understandings will fit the body-mind in the proper directions; provided the basis of the mental and spiritual attitudes is kept.

8. We would use with the rub, or once a day or twice a day, equal portions of Tincture of Benzoin and Fluid Extract of Sweet Gum or Balsam of Tolu cut with alcohol; equal portions of these combined, especially around and under the knee, not only to the knee but in the locomotory centers of the pelvic portions of the body and to the feet and to the bursa of the feet, and the muscular forces between the under part of the knee and heel. All of these areas should be massaged with this combination, not too much, but just what the body absorbs.

9. Also we would find the use of the Radio-Active Appliance to be most helpful. This would be used each evening as the body rests, applied to opposite extremities; right wrist, left ankle; left wrist, right ankle. Keep the anodes clean, putting the appliance in the ice about five minutes before being attached to the body; with the body lying resting for about thirty minutes to an hour. Have that as the period of meditation. Follow these thoughts in thine own words; not only in words but in intent and purpose:

10. OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN, HALLOWED BE THY NAME! MAY THE LOVE, O GOD, THOU HAS SHOWN TO THE SONS OF MEN, BE MANIFESTED IN ME AND MY BODY IN SUCH MEASURES THAT I MAY SHOW FORTH TO MY FELLOW MEN THY LOVE AS IS MANIFESTED THROUGH THE GIFT OF THY SON TO THOSE WHO HAVE LOST THEIR WAY. MAY MY BODY, MY MIND, BE USED IN A SERVICE TO THEE, THROUGH THE KINDNESSES, THE GENTLENESSES, THOSE HOPES THAT MAY BE BROUGHT TO MY FELLOW MEN BY AND THROUGH THE EFFORTS OF MY BODY, MY MIND, MY ACTIVITIES; THAT ALL THE GLORY MAY BE TO THEE. IN HIS NAME WE SEEK, O GOD!

11. This would be the manner then of the attitude, that the will of the Father may be done. For he knoweth what each hath need of, even before we ask; but by the attuning of the vital forces of the body by those energizing experiences of the metals in the Radio-Active appliance we attune the Infinite within self to the Infinite without. Then the words of the meditation and prayer create that vibration, the emotions so that the influences that may be applied externally, internally, through the diet, through all portions of the activities, may bring coordination, cooperation in the physical forces of the body.

12. We are through for the present. Copy to Self " " Ass'n file
