Time of Reading 3:40 to 4:00 P. M. Eastern Standard Time. (Physical Suggestion)
1. EC: Yes, we have the body and those conditions that disturb the physical forces of the body, [1214].
2. Now, as we find, there are disturbing conditions, and these have grown to be - and must grow to be - rather serious disturbances.
3. While there may be those applications as we find that may allay, and with proper precautions may make for a staying of the disturbance, these must eventually - with the advanced condition - make for destructive forces in this body.
4. These then are conditions as we find them with this body, [1214] we are speaking of:
5. The blood supply indicates there are those humors that are produced by inflammation that is of a destructive nature in the hepatic circulation, thus involving the eliminations as through the activity of these organs.
6. Also there has arisen from very strong caustics in the mucus membranes of the bladder and of the organs as retentive to same the inflammation that has begun to extend to the activities though the scrotum as well as through the glands in and about the eliminations in the urethra, as well as the sternum.
7. These carry then inflammation through the body, and unless there are those applications that make for an allaying of this fire or the inflammation that eats INTO the membranes, this - as soon as it has attacked those sufficient in the area as to cut through the tissue without searing or without the abilities for coagulation to stay same - would produce hemorrhages from the bladder and kidneys and the glands in this area, and thus produce the disturbing forces as to separate physical activity.
8. As there is the involvement through an engorgement in the liver area, this makes for great pain, especially when there is the attending activity upon the feet, or when the body stirs about. And this will gradually increase, thus will
1214-1 Page 2
necessitate at all times the use of palliatives to allay the disturbances - which must necessarily be administered through the physician in charge; or narcotics must be administered at times to allay these disturbances.
9. These will, of course, unless there is the allaying, as we find that would be helpful, carry on more and more.
10. As WE find, then, these would make for helpful conditions:
11. We would administer an eighth of a grain of the Animated Ash morning and evening, followed by the ULTRA-Violet Ray; not for more than one minute, on those areas about the lower portion of the kidney area. This Ray should be at least thirty-eight to forty-two inches from the body.
12. These as we find - with the care of the diet and those things that would make for easy assimilation, and that do not produce too great a strain upon the system, or make in the eliminations for such activities as to IRRITATE the glands in the ileum areas - these as we find offer for the body the greater ease and the greater help for the body.
13. The administration, to be sure, of the more powerful sedatives will gradually be necessary.
14. We would follow these, though, for the present.
15. An eighth of a grain of the Animated Ash, taken dry upon the tongue. Two to five minutes afterwards apply the Ultra-Violet Ray across the small portions of the back. The hand lamp my be used but preferably the Quartz MERCURY Light and NOT the Sun Light. Or the violet ray as from the carbon hand light may be used but do not use too long or make for too great an exercising when being given. This given twice a day, not more than a minute at each treatment. See?
16. Ready for questions.
17. (Q) What diets? (A) Those that are easily assimilated; those that will AGREE, as it were, with the body without producing too great a strain upon the eliminations - or those of laxative foods.
18. (Q) If body responds to treatments, how long a stay may be expected? (A) This may be indefinite or it may take a turn ANY time by overexercise, overanger, overanxiety, for a deeper-seating and greater inflammation and a great deal of pain and distress. Three to four to six months at the most.
19. (Q) Is this condition malignant? (A) This is malignant, and DOUBLY disturbing owing to the distress through the WHOLE hepatic circulation - which will make eventually bad for heart action as well as the general
1214-1 Page 3
conditions of the body. These as we find offer in the present the greater palliative measures, so that the administration of narcotics would have an even greater effect upon the body.
20. We are through for the present. Copy to Son " " Wife " " Ass'n file (See copy of letter [which was enclosed] explaining the animated ash and where it may be obtained.)
